Lovely country pub home cooked food Pies a speciality of the house Sunday lunch is excellent value, local produce and local ales available charming pub part timbered very nice beer garden to the rear, staff very friendly and helpful.
A walk into Upton upon Severn over the fields where there is even more lovely pubs to visit. The pub field has the remains of ridge and furrow ploughing so pitch up with care there are EHU's but I did not get one as they were all taken
The toilet/showers were clean and well supplied but I recommend flipflops as the showers mats are painful underfoot.
This is in the heart of a working agricultural County, at times the harvesting machinery going by was noisy but at the same time interesting to watch so you might want to be as far as possible from the road.
I will be a customer again I love this gem of a site the landlady Liz is a true character and always available even when cooking all the fabulous food

Arrived Friday afternoon had good food in the pub garden with friends.
Unfortunately there was some noise until 1am from some people having a get together in caravans behind us and again on Saturday then a stallion from local stables broke free at 2pm running through the camp site eventually getting trapped behind the toilet block before the local vet and the grooms sedated the horse and handled him into the horse lorry.
So we did not have a peaceful weekend.

I can’t believe how many people remarked on the spotlessly clean facilities. In my opinion they were far from clean, we used our own very small shower.

Lovely location 5 mins away from Upton town which is stunning but the site itself, got down there and the grass could have done with being cut, 8 inches high, not good really when we paid £24 a night!
And then the ladies toilets omg whoever left them in that state ought to be ashamed of themsleves, the worst toilet unit ive ever been in! I won't give details but lets just say it was disgusting all 3 toilets!
Ppl seem friendly enough but it needs to be more well maintained especially for £24 a night !

Popular Choice in this Area
Cwtch Cabins And Camping - Ledbury
With easy access to the Wye Valley, or the Malverns, this is a fantastic spot for a back-to-nature camping escape, with all electricity generated on site. Non-electric grass pitches with fire pits for your tent or campervan, or enjoy the home comforts of various quirky wooden cabins and thoughtfully renovated shepherd's huts. Despite its offgrid feel, guests can access brand-new toilets and hot showers.
With thoughtful touches around the camping field, including planting, beautiful wild grasses, and flourishing vegetable beds, the site sits between Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Newent, providing a pick of independent shops and amenities. Pubs and cider makers are located a stroll away, and dogs are welcome. Look forward to a warm welcome from hosts Ruth, James, and their cheery canines Chaucer and Luther! Find out more here

Stopped here many times.
Great site far enough from Upton to get some peace if visiting in conjunction with one of the many festivals but close enough to walk to town. Takes 15-20mins and is all footpath so nice and safe with kids (take a torch at night!).
Site itself is basic but everything you need is there. Toilet block well equipped and clean.
Great as a base being so close to upton and also the m50 10 mins away.
Note the pub attached is a victim of it's own success and often fully booked for food at weekends so if planning to pitch up and eat then pre book a table! Great chip shop in upton at worst if not.
We went with 4 kids and whilst not a lot for kids on site other than if your lucky visiting horse riders for a pint, it is safe and secure and in upton there is a massive park free of charge and amazing (even done the zip wire myself!)
Great site.

Great site. very friendly and a great place to stay to visit the Cotswolds and the surrounding area.
Unfortunately there were still restrictions due to covid so we couldn’t really rate the pub itself

Nothing to dislike about this site
Showers toilets clean and tidy, sanitizer at the door as you go in
Though the pub wasn't open until five I took my own supplies
I will be returning in the very near future

Lovely quiet site at side of pub. Shower and toilets spotless. Helpful staff and had a lovely home cooked meal in pub.
Within walking distance of Upton, about 25 minutes.
