Being lucky enough to have a seasonal pitch on Diamond Farm, means we get to benefit from the freedom of visiting as frequently as we want during the season without the need to tow and pitch up for each stay.
Its interesting to read the apparently negative view ad hoc visitors have of seasonal pitch holders. Somehow we appear to be responsible for the strain the site is put under during peak times! Fortunately we have the luxury of being on site out of the busy periods and so we get to see the site from all aspects.
Diamond is brilliantly located just off the main Brean stretch, but has managed to retain a feel of the countryside. The site itself its fantastically maintained, the grass is cut several times per week, it has a shop, play area and cafe on site, together with a modern and clean shower block, launderette and waste water facility.
The shop is running at less than full capacity at the moment, it is currently under new management, hopefully by the summer it will be fully stocked! The Cafe offers a good range of food, reasonably priced with an outside seating option.
Toilets and shower facilities appear to be clean and well managed, although rarely used because of the caravans own facilities.
There is a range of pitches from standard through to premier, site fees are fair (and lower than most local sites) The site Manager is approachable and helpful, always replies to email promptly. The site warden/manager is incredibly helpful!
Site wifi can be a little sluggish.
We wont have any hesitation in rebooking for the 2016 season ;)

Is it a tourer site?
First of all the site was very clean and well maintained. The toilet facilities were good most of the time despite the best efforts of some of the residents who didn’t seem to care how they treated the facilities.
There were possibly about a couple of hundred vans on the site of which probably 95% where permanently based, to the point where they had taken root and sprouted various pots, gnomes and other tat. When the residents of these turned up for the weekend, complete with dogs, noisy cockatiels or parrots and lawnmowers/strimmer, the facilities struggled (as did I). The showers are pay as you go, not bad value but almost scalding hot water. I may have been unlucky but it seems the location is susceptible to high winds so storm straps were the order of the day. There are good dog walks adjacent to site and the walk to Brean is possible with care as the footpaths are limited or non-existent.
All in all, the almost residential nature of this site means that the facilities struggle at weekend and probably at school holidays, so avoid these and it will be good value for the money.

The site was ok, last site in area with spaces, due to it being c+w week. The price was way over the top. Ok if there were just two of you, but we had two kids with us and we were charge £3.00 per child per night extra. I would love to know why some sites feel the need to charge extra money for more than two people. I'ts not as if we are taking up any more space. Puzzles me. There was loads of pitches on this site, toilets were clean, but the only down fall, is that the park is very near the site entrance.

The site was ok, We went there to try out our new 6 man tent and it had plenty of room for us.
The price was ok. There was loads of pitches on this site and lots of room for our 6yr old to run around in and make friends. The park was ok and you could buy a ice cream from the shop on site. The toilet block was clean but had to pay for showers, let move with the times and have it in the price.
Would go back for a long week end again.

Bank holiday weekend so expected busy, but not impressed with the site. Toilet block and showers disgusting! smelt everytime we used them, broken/ loose toilet seats, dirty sinks. Rubbish areas resembled the local Tip fridges, chairs over flowing containers, kids jumping all over the rubbish and the walls. Kids play area was clean and great for the kids, but situated right by entrance. It was like staying on a council estate! kids screaming noise early and late. Went there for the fishing, what a joke! the river not a river but a bit of trapped water, it was a stagnant weed infested place with cans and rubbish in it, we couldn't fish as it would have polluted our rods. The bank was over grown so unsafe to even set up on. To be fair we feel like it was a waste of money and won't be going back. Been to Brean a number of times but won't use that site again.

We stayed for one night as we had dropped some friends off for a weeks holiday. Diamond farm would allow us to stay for one night where many local sites would not due to it being main season. We were put in the overflow field and chose to stay on the far side which was quiet. The toilet facilities were very poor. They were not clean and paper all over the floor. There was also a very bad smell as you walked into the main field. The facilities were good but just not cleaned enough. The location was up a lane and in parts no pavement so difficult to walk to the beach.

Visited the park for 4 days/3 nights had a lovely stay, shower/toilet block immaculately clean at any time of day, site was kept clean at all times, only issue we had was that on day of arrival after putting up awning and sorting out we would have loved a meal but the site cafe was closed plus the shop, both are only open a few hours daily, plus the shop was very low in goods to sell plus very expensive.

We booked a weekend with only a couple of days notice, and there were still pitches available.
We had no problem being shown to our pitch, although the person that showed us to our pitch seemed as though he had had enough of showing people around that day.
The site does get windy - trying to pitch our 8-man tunnel in 25+mph winds was a challenge, but a friendly motor-homer lent a welcome hand without being asked. The main camping field is nice and flat though, and the electric hookups are only a few feet from the pitch so no long leads are required.
The toilet blocks were in good condition and generally clean (although the late clean on Saturday didn't happen so by Sunday morning it was rather covered in grass and the sinks needed a good scrub). Showers were good and hot, and 50p got you more time than you needed (even my daughter with long hair had enough time to wash and rinse).
There was a fair amount of noise on the site due to the main camping field having a large children's football club camping and having a tournament - if I had known this when booking I may well have booked elsewhere as the shouting/screaming started at around 6am and didn't stop until 11pm which became a bit much.
There was also a constant klaxon going off on some semi-distant farm buildings from Saturday afternoon until mid-morning Sunday and although a good 1/2 mile away, it was clearly audible but luckily we had earplugs so sleep wasn't an issue.
Brean itself is a bit rough, with lots of hen/stag parties hanging around the pubs/take aways (no problems with this on site as they have a no-single-sex-parties rule). The beach is nice, but be aware that it is very tidal (it can go out over a mile) and that at low tides there is a lot of mud. The beach close in is fine though.
All in all, ok. Not outstanding, but ok.

Just back from 5 nights here and cant fault the place.
The toilets/showers were cleaned and stocked up regularly, nice kids play area opposite the reception/café area. The staff were very helpful in showing us to our electric pitch, explained everything and told us who to see in case of any issues etc. Security patrolled the site during the night
We used it as a base to sight see etc and visited longleat safari park, Weston supermare.
Nice quiet site would stay again when in the area

Not the best of sites in my opinion, shop is not open all day and toilet/shower block need more cleaning, spoke to couple of fellow campers and they agreed with me. Found the man on reception very unhelpful. The main area is good with shops and funfair, nice beeches. The camp site has plenty on play areas for young children, the main camping field can be very windy, saw a couple of tents blow down but I know you cannot control the weather, the main gate is a double gate but only I half of gate is ever open which causes problems if you drive out while someone tries to come in.
