Second time camping we had electric hook up. The pitch was a good size and level, next to the river so visited by ducks.
Toilets were clean but had to pay either 20p or 50p advisable if shampooing your hair to go for the 50p option. Pitches near to the toilets had to put up with a bit of a smell because the waste disposal point and the rubbish bins also located there.
Plenty of hot water for washing up and was clean.
Nice dog walking area and the site is dog friendly.
We had a pitch around the outside of the field, but it seemed you could camp anywhere in the middle.
Would recommend this site for a short stay very friendly but is a little way out from Brean so if you wanted to walk especially with children (we didn't have any as all grown up) you will have to be careful as no pavements and the road is narrow.

Spent 2 nights over a weekend here had no trouble obtaining 2 pitches for us and our friends tents as was plenty of room on the large flat camping area (this site will take large family tents unlike some). Large toilet and shower block plenty of hot water for showers (20p for 5mins) but could have done with being cleaned more often as they became messy after evening into morn. There is a small very basic shop on site but doesn't sell gas refills of any sort but has a very nice cafe / take away inside which is good value for money. Brean and beach is a bit of a trek along a twisty busy road so those with small ones beware although sea never seems to be in at brean lol. Site does have elec hook ups. To sum up nice site for a short stay but a car is a must to get to beach facilities were decent and not bad for £14 per night.

Just come back from a long weekend on this site was nice and flat with good ground drainage. Toilets were clean with plenty of sinks and showers which were 20p for 4 minutes or 50p for 10 minutes. It has an on site cafe/shop, average priced items which was good. Also has a park for the young ones. Its only a 2 minute drive to the beach in which you can park on ( no charge ) and there's a fair also 2 minutes drive, good for the older kids. Its only 10 minutes drive to Weston-super-Mare town and 10 minutes to Burnham-on-Sea town. Over all not a bad site and will go back again. P.S / the shop doesn't sell any wines or beers.

We arrived and the staff were extremely helpful and took us to our pitch. However we were left to find where the water, waste and elsan points were ourselves as the information was not offered and to be honest I didn't think of asking at the time of pitching.
The park had lovely views and was in a nice setting. However, I think that because of it being peak season the management team were just unable to keep on top of things during this busy period. The bins were overflowing and looked as though they had not been emptied for well over a week.
The shower cubicles needed a good scrub as they were not clean, we tried 2 showers first one didn't work and I lost my 20p having stood with my daughter for over 2 minutes with no clothes on waiting for it to come on. The next cubicle we moved into came on but the water was freezing and it only trickled out of the shower head and then stopped completely after less than a minute. I put a further 20p in and nothing again so decided after wasting 60p I would go back to my own caravan and get a wash with warm water. There were other people in the same situation.
The toilet blocks were abused by the people on the site who could not clean up after themselves. Soap was not provided in the toilets for hand washing. All in all the site just needs a big clean and although this is down to the management team keeping on top of it I believe if the people staying on this site treated it with a bit more respect it would be a nicer place for everyone who uses it.

Really nice location for going out and about visiting various tourist attractions. Not too far from beach but you need to drive to it, although you can only use beach - mud flats make going into water difficult to impossible!
Site good and owners lovely and helpful. Toilets and showers good although no soap for washing hands after loo!? Showers need to be paid for but only 20p and lovely and warm/clean.
Washing up area same and indoor!
Plenty of water spots and bins! Shop disappointing not much in it and woman running it needs some lessons in customer service!
Laundrette good £2.50 for washing machine 70p for dryer ( which you need to run twice really)
Playground good!
Is a windy site as very open for camping could do with some hedges but had a fabulous time regardless. Only one night with some trouble makers and owners dealt with very swiftly and they got kicked off! Security walk round in the evening and early hours they don't take any messing around which is good to know with kids! Would go back no hesitation!

Excellent campsite, this was my 1st time camping we turned up and were allowed to pick our own pitch, we also put up a sun shelter for the dogs which they didn't mind. We weren't limited on space and had the flexibility to leave when we were ready on the last day. Nice clean showers and toilets, but the shop is very limited, didn't sell bacon or sausages or even hot chocolate powder! Just things like beans and sweets, but there is a good supermarket up the road called bunnies which was cheap and had everything from flipflops to windbreaks and also had frozen and fridge food! baby milk and dog food!
Would go back again!

Stayed for 3 nights (B/Holiday weekend). £17 per night for T. Tent, 2 adults, 1 Child & 1 Jr (no Electric). Toilets very clean. 20p for a 4 min shower (or 1 shower possibly family was 50p for 10 mins). Able to freeze own blocks for donation to B.A.R.B. Very basic shop. Very clean site. Site very exposed when windy, when pitched in the middle of the tent field. Has a playground, but the kids were happy to play near the tent. Would definitely use again. Payment for pitch by Cash / Cheque only.

Booked on here for 7 nights but only lasted 6. Toilets very clean and plenty of showers and hot water. The site was a lot bigger than we thought and during the bank holiday it got quite crowded. Great base for getting about and reasonably priced. We paid £9.00 a night for 3 nights but then price went up to £17.00 for holiday period.

Stayed here for eight days and was pleasantly surprised. We stayed on the field which has the river on one side and road on the other. Stay in the middle and face the river is our advice, its quieter and the ducks come to greet you in the morning. The toilet blocks are a bit of a trek, especially when it comes to emptying your grey water( the only point),but they are clean.Only bad points, NO SOAP & having to pay 20p for a 4min shower. Competitively priced & would visit again.

We stayed here for our summer camping trip and apart from all the rain we were not disappointed at all. The play area for the kids was ok. The toilets, showers(showers nice and warm, 20p for 4 mins 50p for 10 mins), and washing up areas were well kept, and there were plenty of bins and water taps around.
The site is fairly windy & was rather muddy when we were there but with all rain it wasn't a surprise.
The site is ideally positioned to get out & about to see whats on offer in the area.
Overall we had a good stay and would be happy to return again
