The site was amazing. The young man in the tractor who was mowing talked with us and was super helpful.
The lower field is basic but the water is a stones throw away. The portable toilets were clean and well stocked with paper.
The top field looks nice and offers fantastic Lakeland views.
The toilets are good and the showers are amazing.
We’ll be back, very soon. Well worth the money and it was super easy to book and email the owners with questions. Thanks!

Stayed here with my husband and dog fri and sat night.
It a site with a beautiful setting and a 5 minute walk to the lake.
Shared showers are lovely but only 3 for the whole site, however never had to wait.
The toilet block is big enough but could do with a shelf or hooks so you can put your bits and bobs somewhere, when brushing your teeth.
Having said this, would stay again and the owners are lovely.
The facilities are kept really clean with their lovely children helping out.

We spent four nights on Lakeside pitch and had a wonderful experience (we can't blame the campsite for the weather 😊)
Lovely Lakeside Pitches - Stunning views and peaceful surroundings.
Spacious Campsite - Plenty of room between pitches for privacy.
Easy Access to Footpaths: Great for hiking and exploring the area.
Clean Facilities - it was obvious that these were cleaned daily
Hot and Powerful Showers - Perfect after a day out walking!
Freezer for ice blocks
Charging Point for Phones and Devices - for a donation to the local mountain rescue team.
Can't speak for the top field but it was certainly very peaceful down on the lakeside pitches - everyone stuck to the quiet times.
(It's about a 10-minute walk from the lakeside pitches to the showers and washing up block - not a problem for us but might be for others. )
Overall, a delightful stay with beautiful scenery and good facilities.

Excellent campsite for Lake Coniston if you like a clean peaceful campsite with direct access to the lake.
The staff could not be nicer and the checkout time is 12pm.
The ground seems to drain well too. What's not to like?
Thanks guys, we will definitely be back.

This was a lovely quiet site, even on a busy sunny weekend in the heart of the lakes.
Friendly welcome, efficient booking, plenty of space, quiet and relaxing.
Facilities good and as described, not luxury but fine for camping. We stopped for a couple of nights on our way up to Scotland, and this was an ideal base for walking (good suggestion for off the beaten track walk from owners) - and for taking our canoe on the lake, with direct launching from the site.
Recommended.

Beautiful quiet spot above coniston with lovely views over lake.
Toilets, showers and washing up area all basic but clean and good quality, especially the free showers - wonderful after a hot sweaty walk.
Access to lake useful down track.

Lovely site, nice and quiet and only a couple of miles from Coniston Village.
Facilities are maintained to a high standard.
The views over Coniston water are well worth the stay.

Such a peaceful and calm site with amazing views over Coniston water.
Even in busier times the site is not overcrowded, meaning that there is plenty of space between pitches.
Good showers and washing facilities, with the added bonus of a fridge freezer to use.
We will definitely be back.
