We had a great week here. Despite being busy (Battle of the Flowers week) the campsite was fairly quiet, and we didn't ever have queue for showers. On the whole the showers/toilets were clean and there was a mop provided. The swimming pool was lovely and there are plenty of loungers around the pool and the free crazy golf was a hit as well. There is also a children's playground which our 5 year old enjoyed. We didn't use the wifi, TV lounge or games room as the weather was so good. The shop was small and has limited opening, but there are fresh bread and pastries delivered every morning, which were very popular. The owners were great, really friendly and happy to answer any questions you may had. Some of the pitches had sea views. Lots of things to do near by and no where is very far away on Jersey anyway.
If you are taking the ferry over, then it is worth booking the campsite first and they will give you a code and number to ring which gives you a substantial discount on the ferry - we saved over £130 that way rather than direct with Condor.

Just returned from our first camping trip to Jersey and can not recommend Rozel campsite enough. The site is spacious, clean and quiet. The facilities are clean and well equipped although at the busiest time there would probably be queues for toilets and showers.
The site is ideal for all types of tent, caravan or motorhome with spacious pitches. The staff are friendly and helpful and even stopped by to say goodbye and wish us a good trip home as we were preparing to leave.
The site has a shop stocking essentials, a swimming pool, games room, television room, laundry room and a crazy golf course.
Rozel bay is 15 minutes walk away where you can find a good pub selling nice food, a cosy tea room and small beach with rock pools when the tide goes out.
We really enjoyed this trip and are planning to return.

Spent a week at the campsite. Very clean shower block and well manicured with large pitches, nice outdoor swimming pool and even crazy golf. The shop was not very well stocked when we were there but it was slightly out of season and I have visited in August and it's very good then however we could order lovely fresh bread and croissants each day. Really friendly staff - one even met us off the boat (which they seemed to do for caravans due to the roads surrounding the campsite). Several nice restaurants and a pub just down in Rozel bay. If you don't want to move your van (and the roads on Jersey are tiny!) there is a Bus stop outside the campsite - runs hourly until late at night into St Helier (20min) and from there you can explore the whole island via public transport. Otherwise we cycled most places - the green lanes are quite and it's not too hilly in the main.

This was our third stay at the Rozel. This time we hired one of the sites ready erected tents. Although not new the tent stood up very well to one of the biggest thunder storms locals could remember 1 months worth of rain fell in 5 hours with very little leakage. Toilet blocks again very clean, site very quiet although some kids liked to be up early ( well they on holiday & probably excited). The owners again very helpful, advising where to park to watch the motor sprint racing etc and no pressure to leave on the last day. Local attractions as you would expect with the durrell 'zoo', Mont Orgueil castle and the battle of the flowers moonlight parade being the best. Some of the other attractions were a bit pricey but that's your choice. Again one of our favourite sites & will definitely be back thanks

This is one of my favourite campsites, it is a family run site which would be the most friendly accommodating site that you will ever stay at. The outdoor swimming pool is ideal for the days when the weather is warm and although the facility seems basic at first it has a lovely French laid back feel about it. We have already booked it again for this year and the prices with the fast ferry from Poole make it very competitive with a stay in manly do England. The location of the site is fine and as Jersey is not a large island any of the islands sites are easily accessible. I wish I had discovered Jersey earlier in my camping life.

Really lovely site. We stayed for 10 nights and were in the lower Dam Field in the corner on Pitch 14. I say lower field, it is like a mini valley on the site, with the Seaview Field (views of France) and the Bayed Field being higher up and more prone to any windy weather. We had perfect weather for our stay and this lower Dam Field was a real sun trap (especially down in the corner where we were)and got pretty warm at times. We had a pond behind our pitch which was low down in shrubbery, this had ducks & dragon flies flitting about. The banked field to one side of our pitch had two lovely horses in, one of which was very sociable and loved our two kids feeding it grass & carrot sticks, the other one not fussed either way.
The site itself was clean & tidy, the toilet block clean with good showers & constant hot water. The blocks are well cleaned late every morning. The swimming pool was great, if not a tad cold at times according to the kids. The small paddling pool was nice and warm though. Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas around the pool. The shop had most essentials and very nice croissants, when we were there it was open 8am to 10am and then 4pm to 6pm. Didn't use the games or TV rooms, or laundry so can't comment on these. The free WiFi you could only get near the shop, or sometimes I could get it around the pool.
We loved the location of this site, one of the best parts of Jersey, with superb little fishing bays such as Bouley and Rozel, although our favourite was probably the bays around the Archirondel area, one of which has the superb Driftwood Cafe on the beach, the low water swimming here was brill.
Overall? If you are going to camp on Jersey, seriously consider Rozel as you will not be disappointed. By the way, I forgot to say how helpful and kind the owners are, always available for advice or a chat.

Very friendly staff and guests here. Decent shop that opens at good times for breakfast and pre-dinner purchases.
Toilet block very good; clean; always loo-roll & soap; family showers really good for us.
Good playground which the kids enjoyed. Heated swimming pool would be better as it was quite cold.
We saw the Milky Way on 2 nights which was great.
Some negatives: pitch wasn't big enough for us to put our porch up. Hot water was too hot and should be turned down.
Durrell Wildlife Park was great, and the beaches of Jersey are fantastic. Surf wasn't great for our stay.
Overall a great site and we'd definitely stay again if we return to Jersey.

Just returned from a weeks stay at rozel campsite. A lovely site. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in their static tents with our two dogs. Plenty of space and equipment. The campsite has lovely views of France. Had a great time. Would recommend a visit. The shop sold fresh bread and croissants every morning which had to be ordered the day before, very tasty

Our fifth time to Jersey but our first time staying at Rozel. We were guided to the campsite by Heather(?) one of the owners along with another van and a camper van. We were shown to our pitch and told to site it in any direction we wanted to suit ourselves.
We'd sailed from Portsmouth on the large ferry and had a cabin so managed a short kip a couple of times(due to driving down overnight)so left the awning until Sunday morning.
Site facilities are excellent, only had to wait once for a shower, used the shop a couple of times, children enjoyed the pool. We nominated the bench outside the shop as 'saddos corner' as that's where they gathered for a wifi signal! Some lovely walks from the site down to Rozel bay or just amble along the lanes.
The whole site is kept to a very high standard and the owners and staff are very helpful.
I cant really think of any negatives about the site which says it all really and we intend to return next year.
We paid approx £1500 for car and van, cabin both ways and site fees for four of us for two weeks which isn't bad in my opinion. Our son flew out for a week so just paid for him when he arrived.
Re a previous post, there IS a waitrose supermarket on the outskirts of St Helier, (on the A8 I think)plus numerous co-op's, spars, m+s, etc. Cant wait for next years hols!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour of the channel islands. This is not the sort of campsite I would usually choose to stay in, it has tents packed into most of the space, lots of facilities (swimming pool, shop etc. ) and is quite busy. I prefer quiet sites with limited facilities and good views. However the choice is limited on Jersey and in this regard it seemed the best option.
So despite the above, I liked this campsite. It seemed noisy and busy on arrival, but by 10pm the place was almost completely silent. The shop is useful for stocking up on supplies and my 9 year old daughter loved the swimming pool. There are sea views from certain points of the site, but I wouldn't say they were a feature. If you need ice blocks they have a good system whereby you rent theirs for 20p/40p a time and then return them once thawed, rather than them freezing yours.
Our pitch was in the upper field which had quite a nice view behind it into the lower field. The site is in a lovely rural part of Jersey, but then once you get outside of St. Helier all of Jersey is rural (unlike Guernsey which packs houses into much of the island)
Jersey itself is beautiful. The best beaches are at opposite ends from this site with Plemont up in the NW and Portelet bay in the SW (in my humble opinion anway) - but there is plenty to explore all over the island and this place is as good a base as any.
In conclusion I would recommend both the campsite and the island as a holiday destination.
