Can't praise this site enough it is beautiful with loads of amenities.
Fresh baguettes and croissants every morning. The owners are extremely friendly even meeting you off the ferry.
Shower block is a bit dated but having said that the showers are very good with loads of hot water. Pitch size is very good has to be one of the largest pitches we have ever had with stunning views.
Had a look at the other sites on the island and this one is the best by far, in fact it is one of the best sites we have been on.
Only bad point is there are no signs saying no ball games and our van did get hit by a football a few times, there is however a lovely play area for kids.

Rozel Farm is a very friendly campsite with great amenities, like a TV room, a games room, a lounge, a small shop (forgot to take a picture), a pool, a kids playground, a take-away and good laundry facilities. You can pick a pitch on one of the smaller plots, that will take 6 tents (plenty of space!) or on a bigger field.
Bus 3 stop right in front, but when you have a buss pass, it’s also worth taking bus 1 along the coast, stop of at Gorey for a bit and then go on 1b to St Catherine Pier. From there it’s a 30 minutes walk to the campsite…(head north halfway along Fliquet Bay, circle the house that looks like a small castle and simply follow the road west. You can’t go wrong.) Having said that, buses on Jersey are not frequent…
The campsites shop is very small, but I did see a lot of people getting fresh French bread and milk in the morning. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hire tents looked in good shape and very well provided.
I really enjoyed my 5 nights on the camping and can really recommend it.

We've just returned from an absolutely brilliant 10 night stay at the rozel settled in rural jersey only 15 mins drive from st helier ferry terminal, it is well sign posted from the village of st martins which was needed as there are a few turns & junctions to find.
The small shop was stocked with essentials and not much more, but there are plenty of 'corner shops' dotted around locally. The site take away offered reasonably priced food but we never used it. There is a large tv room and games room which again we didn't use, but the kids did enjoy the crazy golf.
The play ground is tucked away from the tents with a good size field for ball games etc with swings climbing frames and slides all relatively new. There is a good size swimming pool for the brave as the water is very cold even in summer, the pool is set on a raised area with parasols and sunbeds and well tended gardens.
The toilet and shower blocks obviously used a lot were never short of spotless, the pot washing areas as well. The pitches are well spaced. We were put in the more sheltered valley which turned out to be better we thought, we didn't have the views of France but were less than 1 minute from both toilet blocks, shop etc and backed onto the pool. The site was nice and quiet at night with no one being loud late on.
The site owners were very helpful and sociable. The site is well kept with flower pots and beds dotted around.
I can't find many faults with this site probably the only 1 is the site is very dark with little or no lighting but a torch soon sorted that out.
The site being in a rural location there is not much locally you could walk to, there are villages a 5 min drive away with shops and pubs etc the nearest beach is 10 mins away, durrell zoo is 5 mins away, with loads of other attractions within a short distance.
For any one thinking of camping in jersey definitely give it a go and this is we think the best site after looking at others on the island.
We are already considering booking for next year, if not we will be back some time very soon.

We-2 adults,3 kids (ages 8,5&3) have just returned from a 5 night stay at Rozel.
The site is one of the nicest we have stayed at, the owners were very welcoming and very approachable-nothing was too much trouble and they made a point of wishing us a safe journey when we were leaving.
The pitches are a good size (we have an Outwell Vermont XL). We were in the CC field with EHU, our pitch was backing onto a quiet road (through the thick hedge), there was only minimal road noise that didn't disrupt our stay. We weren't given a choice of pitch-but the site was full so this was understandable.
The pitch was flat and the ground was quite soft. There are 2 toilet blocks-1 of them seems more popular than the other and there was a bit of queueing in the morning but I used the other less busy block so had no problems-great shower pressure and very clean. Family shower rooms as well.
Kids enjoyed the pool on site as well as the kids playgound.
There is a games room, TV room, Snack bar (only open in the evening)-we didn't try this. There is WIFI available in the games room. The shop has essentials and fresh bread in the morning.
We will be back to this site-might even try one of the pre-erected tents as a treat! Many people visit this site year after year it seems to have a loyal following and I can understand why.

A large and somewhat regimented camp site with multiple sites and fields. Tents are either sited on flat grass pitches along gravel roads (we were - traffic driving right past until quite late), or in hedge-contained inner islands - the emphasis very much on large tents for families (plenty of pre-erected ones for hire).
There is a decent shop, a games room and a dirty old lounge, also excellent laundry facilities which weren't too expensive. I was told the swimming pool was very pleasant.
The showers (in multiple blocks) were adequate (4 per gender/block) and were separate from a basin area and cubicle toilets - the latter were not particularly clean and did smell.
The showers were hot (solar), but I had to queue for them (sometimes up to 25mins) whenever I used them (7am, midday, evening). Although the owners have thoughtfully provided a family shower in each block, there seemed to be never ending fathers showering their 2+ kids every day in the morning, sometimes taking up to 40mins - not on, really.
The owner was not particularly friendly, neither were the staff who looked bored. Bike hire (bikes delivered to the site) were excellent value, and constitute by far the best way to see the island.
The site is located on the very pretty, slightly rugged and less built up north side of the island, a trip to the wildlife sanctuary is an absolute must.
To be honest, we were underwhelmed with the site and the island and won't return. Probably great for families with youngish kids, but not for quiet couples. It felt a bit pile 'em high, and the ferry service is diabolical.

Just returned from a short 4 day break at this site. Staff were helpful & friendly, advising us on choices of where best to pitch but leaving the final decision to us.
Pitches are mostly level (always essential with a tent!) and spacious. Ground was quite dry / hard (but not stony) so make sure your tent pegs are up to the job. Superb views across the sea to the French coast from where we pitched.
Small shop on site offering essentials and you can order fresh bread / croissants every morning. Local village store / mini-market only 5 minutes away by car.
Great pool and sunbathing area.
Toilets / Showers. Only 1 block open at the time of our visit but this was more than adequate. Never saw a queue in the 4 days we were there. Although recently decorated they are a little 'worn' but were kept clean, with loads of piping hot water & good water pressure. I'm fussy (to say the least!) but these facilities were absolutely fine.
Hairdryers and electricity sockets available for use in the laundry room which were free of charge. Games & TV room also on site.
Short 10 minute walk down into Rozel Bay and some excellent coastal walking around the island.
We flew to Jersey with limited essentials (thanks to the 20kg allowance on baggage) but we were able to hire a couple of chairs for the time we were there making our stay more comfortable.
We checked out another site whilst on the island (Beuvelande) but preferred Rozel as it had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. All in all, a good site that we will return to on further holidays to Jersey.

This is one of the friendliest sites that we have ever visited, we were warmly welcomed on arrival and given loads of information on the island then shown to the pitch areas and told to select our own pitch.
There is a good mixture of sheltered and open pitches both with and without EHU. The facilities are very good with plenty of showers and toilets which are maintained to a very high level of cleanliness.
The site is ideally located overlooking a lovely samll bay with a very good pub (The Rozel) within walking distance which does excellent meals at both lunch and dinner.
The site arranged bicycle hire for us which we collected in St Hellier although the company will deliver to the site if required, we found the bikes an ideal way to tour the island along the many green lanes which allows one to see parts of the island that would never be seen travelling by car.
The site shop has an adequate range of essentials and fresh bread and pastries can be ordered along with newspapers.
We would certainly return to this site if we ever revisit jersey and would certainly recommend the site to others.

Stayed here the middle 2 weeks of August 2009. Apart from a couple of overcast days and a wet morning the weather was exceptional and we had a lovely sunny time. The campsite was always clean and well maintained. The toilet block was old and in need of some repair / replacement but was never the less very clean and the showers were always hot. The site pool was a good size but the water always cold (the website says solar heated but it did not feel like it). The play area was a hit with the kids as was the TV and play room. The on site take away was okay for the money and the site shop had everything you needed but not a lot extra. The staff were very helpful. The only thing to remember is that this site is on levels and so people with mobility problems may find it a difficult. The pitches were very generous and there is no pressure to leave at a set time when leaving.

This is a lovely site in a beautiful location. The staff are very helpful & the facilities adequate. There are plenty of toilets & showers with hot water all day. These are dated, but in good order & kept clean. The pitches are large with plenty of space around the site, even when very busy. There is a nice children's play area. The site is built on a hill, with some of the smaller pitches terraced. There is a games room, with coin operated table football, air hockey, Pool etc. Upstairs from this is a take-away serving something from the freezer deep fried most evenings. There is a sitting room with dining tables & chairs as well as a TV room, very useful for those in tents on a wet evening. The reception has a small shop selling basic food & camping items. This is the only local place to buy supplies, as the village has no shop at all. Outside the reception is a very run down crazy golf course. This is my only problem with Rozel. It all needs a bit of a tidy up. The buildings all look like a good storm would take the roof off. Paint is peeling, furniture is clearly old household cast offs. The paths & steps are crumbling. The swimming pool is OK, but every day we were there more tiles fell off the side. For the money, you could get much better on the mainland.
Food shopping on Jersey is a strange experience. St. Hellier has an excellent market & a couple of small supermarkets, but everyone seems to buy their groceries at the local SPAR. Local farmers sell their goods from boxes at the roadside with a tin to leave the money - refreshing to see that. No nice cheese shops, no bakeries or any of those things visitors used to France may expect though.
Rozel is a very pretty village, with a nice harbour & beach. Lots of wonderful places to eat - especially 'the Hungry Man' kiosk on the pier. There are frequent cheap busses to St. Hellier with connections all over the island. The whole island is magical, but it cost £600 to take the camper across. The Condor Express ferry takes over four gut wrenching hours to get there. Even on a fairly calm day, almost evryone was sick. It cost £150 to go to France the previous year.
If I went again; & I certainly would like to, it would be by air to either a hotel, or one of the excellent pre-erected tents at Rozel with a hire car.

We have just returned from our second visit ( we camped here in Aug '08 to ) to Rozel campsite and yet again we have had a great week, thanks to the super family who run this site. We rented the same pre-erected package tent as last year on the upper field that has a spectacular view of the French coast. The weather was kinder this year, sunnier than last but a little windy. So windy one night we were concerned that the tent would be ok - of course it was, as it is of excellent quality ( this years tent looked new )and they are pitched properly and well maintained. The pitches are adequately spaced so you are not on top of each other and you are able to park by your own tent. The family, as last year, are always on hand to answer questions or help out in any way, they are very approachable and friendly. The toilets / showers, washup areas, bins, laundry room, etc are all kept in very clean condition. There are washing machines, irons, ironing boards and hairdryers in the laundry room for you to use. This year I took a toaster with me as the cooker took forever to toast 2 slices and this made life so much easier. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent site to people who want to have a nice relaxing holiday and discover this beautiful island. Although we may not return to camp in 2010, having done it for 2 consecutive years, we will be back in the future and look forward to it, all thanks to the Germain family's well run establishment.
