We stayed here for 10 day the begining of August and had a brilliant time. The grounds are beautiful with lovely flower beds. The pitch we got allocated was perfect as we had small children so could let them run around knowing they were safe. The showers were always very clean bht the water did get to hot for my little girl.
The pool was cold on the first few days due to the pump breaking but that didn't stop the children swimming.
The small shop on site sold all your basics plus a few extras you might need. Eg gas, pegs and tent sealer.
There is a little park and amusements all so loved by the children.
Its a family run site and all so helpful to give recommendation on eating out or which beaches to use. All though it says you can walk to the beach we found it hard work with young children but don't let this put you off going to the site.

A nice, clean site well situated for Newquay. You can walk in to town in about 20 minutes, there is a bus but not very frequent. A taxi back from town cost £5.
The pitch was a very good size, toilets and showers were generally clean and didn't have to queue at all. The food was great and reasonably priced although it was a shame that the café was separate from the pub - it would be nice to have bar meals in the pub itself. Shop was reasonably priced. Entertainment was ok, but the bar was a bit outdated, with barrels for seats and tables.
The site also states ' families and couples only' - this wasn't obvious during our stay as a few parties were quite noisy late at night.
Overall a good site we would return to.

Well we spent many hours trying to decide on a campsite for our very first camping excursion we eventually went for Trencreek. We weren't disappointed. This is a lovely site and has all the facilities you could need.
Being a newbie we weren't quite sure what to expect but we found the pitches to be of a good size, flat, clean and well maintained.
Toilet blocks were clean but starting to look a little tired. Showers were okay but having to press a button every 2 minutes to restart the water was a bit of a pain.
Never used the bar or cafe. Shop and laundrette were excellent.
The site was well located with a large supermarket within a short drive (or walk if only getting a few bits). It was a 1 mile walk to the centre of Newquay which we tried once.
Overall a more than adequate site and would definitely visit again if in the area.

Just returned from a great week here, will definitely be returning next year, very friendly site, we liked the fact it was a bit noisier at the weekends in the evenings as it meant we didn't had to tip toe around too much, very safe feeling site, and very well located, 20 mins walk to Newquay which was a great way to burn off all the pasties, or you can bus which we did a few times. Well priced club house, food and shop, showers were nice, not the cleanest all the time, but I think camping you understand your not at home. Didn't have time to explore all the site really so will be coming back, I can see why you would want to keep returning to this site.

Difficult getting in as the old lady wouldn't allow us through the barrier without paying! Accepted card deposit but insist on cash to pay the balance. Wouldn't even allow us to dump the tent and set off into town to obtain cash. If we weren't meeting friends I would have turned around and gone elsewhere! Chap on adjoining site had someone else on reception with no bother at all and paid the following day!
Nice clean site. Showers, toilets and wash up area all kept clean. Showers only last for 16 seconds and the hand dryer for 2!
Odd that you have to walk through pitches to get to them as no middle walkway through the site.
Club house (never used it) Launderette, shop, cafe and outdoor pool (little tired and cool) Children's climbing frame with sand base.
Pretty hot on check out time.
Newquay 1 mile walk. Map given. Local supermarkets about the same.
Electric pitches also had water point which was handy.
Barrier a bit of a nuisance as it appears to have no overide in reception and causes confusion.

Well this place is certainly a hidden gem, we arrived in Cornwall earlier than expected and called to see if they would let us on site earlier and the answer was yes, we were met at reception by a very helpful lady who checked us in and we were directed to our pitch.
Our pitch was just perfect with an amazing view of the pond. The site was well looked after and the toilet block very clean and well looked after.
We used the shop for ice blocks - unfortunately not free. We also ran out of gas and the staff tried their very best to help us, if the shop was closed and you needed something all you had to do was go to reception and ask for someone to open the shop and they would do this willingly.
We don't normally use the bar on site but this time we decided to and it was great, the drinks were reasonably priced and the entertainment was great, very good and definitely recommended.
The site is reasonably close to a main road and this could be heard late at night but not enough so that it bothered us.
We would definitely return to this site in the future, well worth the visit.

We stayed here last Summer after personal recommendation from friends. It's a great family site with good amenities. Barrier entry for security, small swimming pool (cold but still good fun), clubhouse, small shop and takeaway food. There were plenty of washing facilities which were all well-maintained throughout our stay despite some bad weather.
We were unfortunate to have heavy rain from the fourth day onwards, so left slightly early but this was no reflection on the site. Staff were friendly and helpful, pitches were a good size although fairly close together, but as always a good atmosphere and being a family site, everyone seemed to respect the quiet time in the evening.
The site is well situated, as others have mentioned, it is close to a number of shops so that you can easily obtain supplies but one of the best things about it was the proximity to some beautiful beaches. Lusty Glaze is just up the road and is a must, with the beautiful hidden, and slightly unexpected, view as you reach the top of the very steep steps down to the beach.
Fairly central location within short driving distance of most local attractions. Perranporth is also worth a visit, beautiful long beach, plenty of shops (gifts, beach stuff, ice-cream and sweet shops, takeaway and eat-in and other general supplies) and fantastic fish and chips.
Lovely place and we will definitely return although would like to see it outside of school summer hols to avoid the busiest times.

Just come back from trencreek and what a lovely site it is. Its lovely could not fault it apart from our rain we had while we were there.
The staff were helpful and friendly and willing to help where necessary. The camping area was well lit. The pool, cafe, and bar had all the things you need on a family hol! kids loved it.
I want to come back as soon as poss. It was that good. The shop had all the necessary items to buy and if they didn't they would get it for you by the next few hours. Really appreciated that, when it was drive out to go get things.

Visited Trencreek holiday park last year. Found the park to be very clean, wash and toilets were spotless cleaned every day. The swimming pool was good and clean but a little cold. Had good entertainment every night from discos to bands and children's entertainers, all the staff were kind and friendly and always willing to help. The shop opened at 9:00am which was well stocked and well priced, you had to order newspapers for your stay, the shop was not open for long in the day but if you needed anything the reception would open it for you, the park is set in lovely grounds with 2 fishing ponds at the bottom with ducks, noticed the site is surrounded by houses but had no noise, this is the nearest campsite to Newquay , one night even heard the lions roaring from Newquay zoo. The take away food on the site is the best I have ever tasted!and again very well priced. All in all a lovely camp site would stay again. PS, love Newquay town and Distral and Parenporth beach surfing is amazing you have to visit!also went to port issac where doc martin is filmed and Boscastle both lovely places. Also lidl, morrisons and Mc Donalds are all 5 minutes drive away and recommend Sky Blue camp warehouse in the industrial estate opposite Mc Monalds if you need any equipment.

Just arrived back after a week at trencreek, we were very lucky to have such nice weather whilst we stayed there. The campsite was a very friendly and quite campsite and also very clean.
The shop had limited stock and only opened in the morning and evening but if you needed to purchase something out of opening hours they were more than happy to open the shop up for you.
The takeaway was very good value for money and very nice food, My son loved the pool and amusements there and loved playing on the pool table too.
The showers and toilets were very clean and the evening entertainment was ok. We visited a lot of places while we stayed there Port isaac was one of the best its was where they filmed doc martin.
We also visited Boscaslte, Tintagel and the pretty town of Padstow. We spent a couple of days in Perranporth the beach there is lovely which my son really liked.
The beaches in newquay were also very nice too but newquay town centre was a bit grim and I'm in no rush to visit again. Overall a good holiday great location and we may return to trencreek one day but we will definitely be returning to cornwall next year
