Came here for boardmasters event, first time in Newquay and loved it,
This site is fantastic very very nice staff,
Toilets showers etc spotless and always getting cleaned,
Brill location, we went on our bikes into newquay each day then just locked them up outside Aldi (in middle of main town centre) took 6 minutes on just gentle ride in (through the pathway, ask at reception for short cut directions),
I could not believe the prices in the 'on site shop' and bar, they were cheaper than town, really good price on everything ( 2 pint jug milk 95p, kingsmill large loaf 99p, etc )
Has a laundrette too with washers £3, dryers 20p, and iron & ironing board 10p,
Thanks for the very warm welcome from start to finish, it made our holiday and will defo be coming back to this campsite for years to come now

Fantastic camping and caravan park with excellent facilities, great for families or couples. Shower and toilet block spotless throughout visit and never had to wait due to plenty of it. Pitches well kept and well laid out. Great playground and swimming pool for children. Shop stocked essentials and very reasonably priced and the takeaway food was at a high standard. Had a club house and games room (not expensive)
It was close enough to Newquay if you wanted to walk or a bus service operated from outside. Close to Morrisons and Lidls for stocking up.
Would highly recommend this site to everybody for facilities, location and the lovely weather really made it for us.

A very warm welcome on arrival from the friendly lady on reception, straight away she refunded me £8.40 as she informed me she had charged me the rate for June by mistake. I was given a welcome pack full of info and directed to my pitch down by the duckpond.
The pitch was marked out and numbered and provided ample space, the site is lovely with good grass and is very level, it's very picturesque with rows of trees and two duckponds where you can fish.
The showers/toilets are spotless and there's no meters for the showers, the hot water does take a while to run through the taps on the sinks though.
There had just been a caravan rally and speaking to one member he was full of praise for the owners and stated they couldn't have done enough for them, they are re-booking for next year.
There's a bus stop just outside camp or you can walk down a little pleasant lane into the centre of Newquay within 15 minutes, there is a shop, a bar, and a cafe but none were open during my visit perhaps due to there not being that many on the site at the time, that wasn't a problem though as morrisons is only a 5 minute drive away.
This is a really nice clean quiet site, very well kept, and the camping rates are very good. When in Newquay again I wont hesitate to book this site again, very enjoyable.

The site is very handily placed for Newquay although the walk into town is a good 30 minutes or more. The toilet and shower facilities are well maintained (restaurant and shop were shut when we visited) and the grounds well looked after.
Even though the site was practically empty we were initially allocated to an awful pitch by the entrance as I had given the impression our tent was gigantic rather than a generous 4-man.
We asked to move and were allocated a nice pitch down by the lovely duck ponds. It seems many people book particular plots so it may be worth asking to be allocated one towards the duck ponds as that is the nicer end of the sight.
Pitches are clearly marked. They seem fairly tight but this wasn't an issue as the site was so empty.
There is a Morrisons 2 minutes drive away for supplies and the site isn't far from the junction for exploring the rest of Cornwall. Newquay is a bit of a surfer's paradise I imagine but we don't surf so the appeal wasn't that great.
Town was quiet on a Tuesday evening but our cab driver gave us a weary look when we asked what it's like at weekends! A cab after hours from the town centre is £10 which seemed a bit pricey but we didn't fancy the walk.
We found the site extraordinary value at £11 per night for two of us and would have stayed longer but for itchy feet!

Fantastic site. Been coming here on and off for over 15 years. Never had a problem with anything. Shower blocks are always clean and only ever had to wait for a short time.
Like the fact there is a bar and entertainment if you feel the need to get out of the canvas now and again, cafe is reasonable and takeaway facility is handy if you don't feel like cooking.
Morrisons just down the road and Lidl and Somerfield in Newquay do a good breakfast too. 30 min walk into town.
Or 10 mins drive, parking a bit steep but then where isn't it.
Every year we look around at other camp sites and always end up coming back to Trencreek.

Excellent campsite, we had an 8 man tent and I was a camping virgin and was very reluctant to say the least but all my concerns were allayed soon after arriving, the site was spotless, toilet block was very clean.
The food from the on site take away was delicious! All the facilities you would ever need were readily available, there was a Morrisons supermarket a 5 min car journey away and you are a 20 minute walk away from Newquay town centre,
the only down side for us was that we were located right next the lake which during the day was very idyllic but early morning it was extremely noisy and impossible to sleep due to all the ducks.
Spoke to numerous people on site who'd been holidaying there some of them in excess of 10 years, so that in itself should serve as a recommendation.

This was a last minute booking for us, and a good one! We got a lovely big pitch right next to the fishing pond at the far end of the site. Whilst pitches at this end were nice and roomy, the same can't really be said for pitches nearer reception, which were extremely cramped and very close to the 'road'. We had to be extra careful not to drive over peoples guy ropes upon occasion!
Despite it being a really busy site, it was nice and quiet. There is a bar and a swimming pool, but I can't comment on these as we didn't use them. I know there was a disco on one evening, but at no time could we hear it. The children's play area was basic, but kept the kids happy when they weren't fishing!
The shop is well stocked, and even sold proper fishing kits for kids, and the on site takeaway does lovely chips!
Facilities were ok, but could definitely do with a few more showers down the far end of the site as there were lots of queues. Shower and toilet blocks did get a bit grubby by the end of each day, but then it was pretty busy this week, but overall they were good. Note to management, the ladies loos could do with some sanitary ware bins!.
Site is very well situated for trips into Newquay, with a walk into town and bus routes nearby.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful (they even double checked the measurements of our pitch). All in all good site, would use it again.

Nice campsite with everything you could need for a camping trip to Newquay. Good sized pitches and not too close to your neighbour. Clean toilet and shower blocks and the showers were free. The only complaint I would give about the showers is you have to keep pressing the button as it does not stay on for long.
The bar is nice and quite cornish in style. There are plenty of seats in the bar and the drink prices were reasonable and much cheaper than in town. Breakfast was good at the takeaway and an ok price. Freezerpacks are cheap at 25p.
The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this site as it's fairly close to Newquay but just far enough away to have a relaxed laid back feel.

Lovely site. Not expensive. Clean. Level access. Lady on reception very friendly and helpful.Nice outdoor pool. 20/30 minute walk to centre and an hourly bus back which we found convenient.
Was disappointed that not many bars and restaurants on the sea frontage. Walkabout was extremely expensive and the drinks not very good! We went to Kahuna restaurant on the beach at Tolcarne -highly recommended if you don't mind a lot of steps to get to it!
It was also a 30 minute walk to Porth Beach and there's a bar on the beach there. We ate at Porth Vear Manor hotel -excellent meal.

The site was quiet when we arrived so had a choice of wherever we felt. Being mid week it is likely to be busier at the weekends. The shop was on it's final day of opening so little stock whilst we were there.
The lady who checked us in was very helpful. The pitch we had was of a good size and flat. The facilities we thought were very good. Lots of clean showers. With quite big areas within to change and free. Hot water was powerful. Numerous sinks and showers.
The site has a bus stop just outside so we caught a bus to Newquay for the night.£2.10 return each with the last bus departing Newquay at 0020 so great if you want a night out.
The site was £10.20 which we thought givent he standard and location was very good value for money. Would definitely return here if visiting Newquay again.
