We have just come back from a 4 night stay here and I must say that this site is lovely.
The site itself is not too big, its very clean and the staff are all very friendly. The toilet block was kept extremely clean and there are lots of showers and basins, I never had to wait!
The shop is very well stocked and very good prices as sometimes site shops do like to over price things as they know its the nearest shop for miles.
The on site pub and games rooms are also very good and seemed to be a big hit with the children on the site.
Also the fishing ponds are very nice although we didn't fish there were a lot of people who were and were catching things.
I would definitely recommend this site and I am already looking to book up next year.

Awesome in a word; we were looking for a campsite for a week away around Newquay and found this in-expensive, welcoming, tidy, clean and friendly place. We stopped from the 8th to the 14th of August 2009, had half and half weather with plenty or rain but equally sun. The site is aimed at families and couples with us being the later. The on site shop is adequately stocked and will freeze your ice packs for 25p each. The on site bar reminded me of a basic function room family wedding type venue, one visit and you will know what I mean :-) had a few good nights in there though. Showers and toilet blocks are clean, not to bad at all and well maintained with the bins and on site facilities being well looked after. Overall we loved it and would recommend it to most people, not for single groups though. Recommended site

We loved this campsite. We didn't have the weather when we went so the ground was very muddy, but the people at reception were really helpful and lent us a bucket to get sand from the playground to cover the mud. Also a man on a tractor delivered sand to anyone who wanted it (free of charge).
We are coming back to this site this year, the shop isn't greatly stocked but it has all the essentials like milk, bread eggs !
The takeaway served delicious food and was very popular with everyone. There is a good launderette onsite. I didn't get to the pub but my husband said it was good !
The swimming pool did have a lot of flies doing the breast stoke but that is expected in an outdoor pool.
There is only one thing we weren't keen on and that was at night the toilet block only has one light on so it was quite dark and eery ! but on a positive note they were cleaned twice a day and there was no shortage of toilet paper !

Like the report before, we stayed in Aug and it was our first visit here. The pitch was near the top very near the toilet / shower block. They were very clean at all times and always with hot water.
Its a very clean site of which we were impressed with. Morrisons was only a five minute drive and the walk to Newquay was around 20 mins. The shop could have done with more in it as it was very sparse. The club was ok. Our daughter loved going in the pool and playing with other children.
The only complaint was at night when in a week we had 3 nights of selfish different campers who stayed up making a big noise until up to 3 in the morning.

We have just returned from our first visit to Newquay, and what a pleasure it was to stay at Trencreek Holiday Park. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful on arrival. The pitch was large and level and we were lucky to be situated near the toilet / shower blocks. There were plenty of showers with always an unlimited amount of hot water which was great, good space with electric sockets and the toilets never ran out of toilet paper! The pool was warm with sun loungers to relax on surrounding it. The club had good entertainment every night with reasonably priced drinks. Our children loved the amusements and the fishing lakes. My only criticism is that the shop was very overpriced and poorly stocked. The location of Trencreek was perfect for us with a supermarket 5 minutes down the road and a path 1 mile to Newquay that takes you directly to the town centre and beaches. I will definitely be returning to Trencreek and will recommend it to friends visiting Newquay.

I am writing this review on the basis of the proximity to Newquay town which is in walking distance from this campsite and I thought that other campers who don't want to move their vehicle might wish to know this.
A twenty minute walk takes you to the bottom of Newquay Town which we did every day, we didnt walk back as we caught a Taxi from the high street and this was about 5 pounds. Mainly due to the rainy weather.
As for the site, we where shown to our pitch on arrival and that was it, we must have been the only ones there at that time of year and we never saw the reception open again. Noticed it had a small club and shop and play area for children, unfortunately, the toilets where filthy and couldnt have been cleaned for some time and over flowing waste bins.
Perhaps they will get their act together as the season progress's.

I stayed here for four nights unfortunatley when it was wet.Quite busy mix of tents and caravans.
Family site with lots of kids,i dont have any, but generally well behaved polite kids having a good time.We all like that.
Once club had let out went quiet, nice time bar the weather.
Oh and facilities (showers, toilets)good for size and amount of people on park.

Found this site set out very well, each individual pitch large enough to accommodate large 6 berth tents. Ample amount of toilets/showers. Swimming pool and play area ideal for kids of all ages. Fishing lakes set in quiet corner of site. Staff very helpful and understanding. Would use this site again for future camping holidays as close to newquay beaches(walking distance 1 mile)

To say that we have been going here regularly for the last 15 years says it all. Nice site that is well kept. Fishing on site (even though we fish we have never used the facility - always forget the rods!), good sized clean pool that is open for virtually all the daylight hours.
A games room is on-site adjacent to the bar and pool. The prices in the club are very reasonable and has evening entertainment (DJ / Disco / Live) on a regular basis. Small shop on-site (could do with being better stocked but is ok). There is a take-away and a launderette, although we never used them.
Toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy with free showers provided. Site staff are very friendly and helpful. Great family site. Noise has never been a problem.
Superb place to stay whilst enjoying the local area. Newquay is only a short drive, or a slightly longer walk away. A Morrisons is only 5 minutes drive away for all the usual necessities.

We stayed for a few days in August. Good site for Newquay, you can walk to the town. Facilities are clean, nice pool and a well stocked shop, even if it does close half of the day! Good family site. Although they only allow couples and families, there were a few families together who made too much noise a few nights in a row too late, so after complaints, they were asked to leave, so this was also positive.
