Site is well spaced out and immaculate
Toiler/shower block clean and we'll presented with dishwashing, elsan etc.

Small playground
Good tv and mobile signal
Very peaceful
Can't add anything else that hasn't been said in previous reviews.
Would highly recommend this site and if in the area again would love to revisit.

A nice small campsite located within the grounds of the theme park, 2 mins walk and your on the rides ! The toilet & shower facilities were large modern and kept very clean, once the park closed the site was very quiet indeed. There is a hotel with bar & restaurant also within the grounds and we were given a discount voucher for this when checking in. The site is also very handy for visiting Tamworth which is only 5 minutes drive away

Delightful welcome and staff who couldn't do enough for you.
Large open camping area for caravans and motorhomes ( some hard standing) and tents ( flat grass ).
Sanitary facilities are plentiful, warm and spotless.
Massive grassy area for children to play football etc.
Very close to theme park - we could see some of the rides and hear the distant screams!
Walking distance of canal towpaths and Tamworth town centre.
Would thoroughly recommend, even if you don't want to visit the theme park.

We live very close by but took the opportunity of staying in the park in order to get a full days fun value (3 minutes walk to the theme park gate!)
The campsite was perfect for our needs. The site is well laid out with handstanding and grass pitches, it was on a slight side slope which we did notice a little but this didn't distract.
We could view the shockwave roller coaster (& hear the screams) from the site which added to the anticipation! There was a nice play area, large play field, dog walks, 4 washing up sinks and fabulously clean toilet and shower block. The best thing about the site though was the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, I haven't been to any other site where they are even half as friendly.
There seemed to be quite a few people here who weren't visiting the theme park, but with so much to do locally it'd make a great base.
We will be back!

Visited this site to meet up with family members with small children. Not having been a traveller for long I wasn't too sure what to expect but staying here will be one of the best decisions you make. Even though you are on the site of Drayton Manor Park, you cant hear the rides too much, on one day I thought the park was closed as I didn't hear anything.
I am a single traveller but if I had kids, this site would be a must, so close to the theme park with fun to be had whatever your age.
The staff on site are really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We actually booked for 3 days then extended our stay as it was so peaceful and enjoyable for the children.
I would go here again by myself as I felt really safe, the wc and shower block were extremely clean and the locality to shopping centres and local spa really good. Will definitely visit this site again.

Flat/level and dry site, excellent spotless amenities, in the grounds of Drayton Manor theme park.
Small shop on site but not stocked with much, understandably this time of year.
Plenty of room around site for dog walking, you are allowed to wonder some of the grounds around the park.
Fazely Town and canal an easy 15 minute walk outside main entrance, tesco express, chemist and post office all there.
Takeaway delivered to campsite gate.
This time of year a very quiet and peaceful site, the main car park for theme park was a quarter full at weekend for the small ones going to Thomas land, I can imagine there would be all sorts of noise in summer from the main park when open, but this would only be during the day anyway.
Would definitely go back.

FANTASTIC doesn't even begin to describe this amazing site. What more can you ask for? A clean, safe site with park and nature trail for children, small shop and staff on hand day or night. AND it's a minute's walk to Thomas Land. We booked one night, but couldn't resist staying a second. Our little one was happy socialising in the park while we could keep an eye from a safe distance and come 10pm all went quiet. Loads of room and we will DEFINITELY be visiting again, possibly for the fireworks Nov 1st and 2nd.

Earlier this year we purchased a Drayton manor season pass. We have a 5 year old and think this theme park is much better suited than some of the larger more commercial parks for children under 10. As we had purchased this ticket we decided to make a weekend out of it and use the camping facilities. I was expecting it to be a field with a toilet in a shed. How wrong was I! What a wonderful site. Very flat and beautifully maintained, it was better than a lot of other sites I’ve stayed at before. The owners who greeted us on arrival couldn’t have been friendlier and even offered to book us a table at the nearby Grill Inn Restaurant as we pitched our tent.
The site had a good, clean, safe children play area which we used on the Friday evening, although on the Saturday we used the larger play area in the hotel grounds as it was near the bar so my husband and I could have a cold beer on a hot evening.
The toilets and showers were wonderful, very clean and bright and large shower cubicles and that is just the single use showers, the parent and child and family showers were fantastic and perfect for showering with children. The water was a good temperature too, not too hot for my 5 year old.
The site has a small shop in reception that is not the most varied of stock but does have all the basics necessary. It also has a dedicated football area for the kids to kick about without disturbing other campers and a natural maze walk, it clearly has families in mind. Although it wasn’t fully booked there were a lot of families there and we didn’t hear any noise or have any disturbance the whole time.
In the washing/dryer room are lots of leaflets with local information in case you don’t fancy spending all your time at the theme park as well as menus of local restaurants that deliver to the site. We didn’t use any but found this additional help very useful and having realised there is more in the Tamworth area than I realised, we have discussed going back again next year and exploring a little further afield than just Drayton manor park.
The Grill inn was very nice, it’s not the most extensive menu but the food was beautifully cooked and we thought it was reasonably priced, we also had a 20% card as we were staying on the park. As its world cup season, it has the football on (muted) but also on one screen had a children film (again muted) so our son could follow that as we kept one eye on the football. The waiter seated us in this area specifically as we had a child with us and we appreciated it. Our son also received the usual crayons and puzzles to keep him entertained while we enjoyed a lovely evening.
This site is definitely on our list of sites to go back to, not just when we visit the theme park but now to discover further afield too. Lichfield looked lovely as we drove back though, only 10 mins away, we’ll definitely be checking this out on our next visit.

Made a last minute booking after deciding to chance the weather for Donington Park (30 miles away)
I have specified in previous reviews my experiences of noisy children, so perhaps not a good idea to stay on a site in the grounds of a Theme Park on a bank holiday weekend!
But this time round: Fair play to all parents on the site for my 2 night stay- they all managed to wear out the kids during the day and there was not a sound at night!
The site itself I couldn't fault. Although I spent only a short time during my stay on the site I found all the facilities spotless and all the wardens friendly and helpful.
Would have no hesitation about returning to this site.

This site was brilliant for popping in and out of Drayton Manor theme park. Its right behind the Park hotel and is absolutely lovely. As are the attendants who did everything to help us out. Toilet block was spotless and there is a family room as well. Grounds were well kept and pitches hard standing and level.
Good playground for the Kids and away from the main camping bit so it wasn't noisy.
