Just came back from 2 nights stay at the campsite.
It it set in a nice area and you pitch right next to the park (approx 2 - 3 min walk to entrance).
Regular patrols throughout the day and night by security which was good.
There is a pub on the camp site which we did not visit so cannot comment on this.
There is shops just up the road from the camp site, about a 5 minute drive which is handy for bits you may have forgotten.
The toilets and showers on site where disappointing, we arrived the Friday night and the toilets where clean, had a shower on the Saturday and the water was nice and hot but then after a few minutes went very cold. On Sunday there was no water coming out of any of the showers so was unable to shower.
Also as the weekend went on the toilets got dirtier and muddier with people walking in and out with muddy feet and did not seem as though they had been cleaned at all.
Whilst you are in the shower there is nowhere for clothes or personal belongings as there is no changing cubical, just a bench outside of the showers for you things which is a little dissapointing.
Overall a good site which is on the grounds of the theme park.
Would use again if visiting Drayton Manor.

Was surprised at how pretty the site was, the trees are beautiful. Staff at gate were friendly and helpful. Water in blocks was very hot whenever I used it, showers and toilets clean. We had a family of ducks visiting us every night and one tent had a loaf nibbled by squirrels. We went with our son, 4 and friends with their children 3 and 5. We all had a great time. There is a very good chippy, chinese, indian, Tesco express and a couple of pubs 15 mins walk from campsite at Fazeley. The kids loved Thomas Land and the major complaint we had was that the park shut too early 5.00pm so we didn't have time to do everything. We didn't have any trouble with noise but there were only a few tents there and they all had young children. We will be going back again, the discount for the park covers the price of camping so it is good value.

We stayed here for two nights as a last minute thing, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the site was, as said previously it is set in a mini woodland. We were greeted by ducks as we pitched our camper and watched very closely by squirrels.
Upon arrival we were the only ones here but were soon joined by another couple of units, there is 24hr security and some statics next door with Drayton Manor staff in so your not alone.
The toilet blocks were clean and ample for the site, I really liked the idea of picking where you want to pitch yourself too.
We all had a great time, spent a day in Drayton manor (which you get at reduced price when camping).
Would go again if going to Drayton manor as it works out cheaper!
All in all a great site!

Basic camp site for use if visiting Drayton Manor Park. You can not book for this site. We arrived on Friday early evening, you can pitch where ever you like. The facilites are quite basic, toilets, showers washing up room. On the Friday these were spotless, but I dont think they were cleaned all weekend and by the time we left Sunday morning they were very dirty (the site was busy). This camp site has a very laid back feel to it, although you are given a leaflet with rules and regulations they dont seem to generally be enforced, on the Saturday evening there was a large group who has arrived that morning, and from 10pm Saturday night they were playing music loudly, and shouting / singing etc till about 12/1am-ish But we did not complain so I dont know how the park security would have dealt with it. There is 24hour security about.
Drayton Manor park itself is great, we spent the whole day in the park and still did not do everything, the new Thomas land is extremely good. We will return again, despite the noise Saturday night, as it was so nice after a day in the park to have just a 5 min walk to the tent and put in the BBQ!

Great Campsite right next to Drayton Manor - you can hear the screams from your tent! Beautiful campsite with wooded areas. Showers and toilets good and mostly clean - no hooks in showers though. When no hot water, very helpful and was back on in short time. Weekend was not as good and Draytons rule of family units only was not adhered to. Very noisy into the night and early morning, loud music and the rubbish campers left was appauling. Would visit again if going to Drayton Manor.

This is a great site to use if visiting Drayton Manor Park, which we feel is a great family theme park. The site facilities were quite basic, but adequate. On the first morning of our stay there was no hot water in the showers or washing up, but once I made this known to a security man it was seen to straight away and from then on it was fine. Facilities were clean-ish, considering how busy it was. The site has no electric hook-up and you can pitch where you like, there are not marked pitches. You can not book for this site, but it does have plenty of pitches so should not be a problem. There is security about 24 hours a day so felt quite safe here. You can walk from the site down the road to the left and then along the river, which is a nice walk. And the walk to the local Tesco Express is about a 20 min walk. We will definitely return if visiting Drayton Manor Park again.

We visited this site over the last weekend in June, despite the severe weather warnings issued by the Met Office, with my wife our two kids and their two friends. Due to the bad forecast the site was not very busy at all and we had a great stay for 2 nights. Checked in 18:00 on Friday night which was quick and simple. Was told that we could pitch up anywhere on the site which is ideally situated right by the entrance to the park, but far enough away not to be bothered by the coming and going of the park guests.
The site has some very large and mature trees which can offer great protection from the rain and also has more open areas so if it is not busy you get to pick the best of both. Our pitch was both level and well drained and the grass was in great condition.
The toilet blocks are adequate if not particularly well maintained. In the men's block there are 5 showers but only 3 wash sinks and every time I used them for either a wash or shower there was plenty of hot water and loo roll. Although the girls in our party visited theirs on occasion and found the hot water not working or run out and as there were only about 6 or 7 other units on site this could be an issue at busy times. There are 3 large washing up sinks but only 1 plug, however there is plenty of space and they are all under cover, although the bin in the room was not emptied during the whole weekend. The whole washing & toilet block area was reasonably clean most of the time which is quite an achievement as it rained all day on the Saturday.
Park security was good with regular patrols during the day in a Land Rover and a friendly walking patrol last thing at night. We only paid for our first night as we wanted to see how the weather panned out before paying for a second and arranging this could not have been easier and we found all the staff helpful, friendly and informed.
For £13 per unit at weekends this site is really good value and you get the bonus of a reduced price entry ticket for all party members to get into the theme park which is the whole point of the stay. Our kids went straight in when the park opened at 10:00 and stayed all day until it closed. As it was not too busy and we all have good waterproofs they did not have to queue very much for anything and had a great time. The theme park is a really great day out and is also very well run with some great rides for all ages and a small Zoo (The tigers are fed at 16:00) .
The rain stopped at 16:00 and we were able to cook and eat outside which was great and then the sun came out on the Sunday which dried out the tent just in time. There is a pub on site that stays open till 23:00 and apparently there is a shop but like others we didn't find it as we didn't need it but there is Tesco nearby. There is also a crazy golf course (£2 a round) near the main gate and a water park a few miles away. All in all a great camp site for the theme park, well run, great value, fairly clean facilities and good pitching areas and great if you have kids. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed at this site a couple of years running.
It's very basic, but is ok for just a couple of nights while going to the theme park.
It is set in the grounds of the theme park it's self is great for the kids as there is no getting up early and travelling, you just get up and go into the park, back to the campsite for dinner, then off back in the park after dinner.
There is a chippy and shops in the town up the road.
The site has toilets, showers and water taps.
NO electric hook ups.
They don't take bookings, so can be a bit hit and miss on getting on.
You also get discount rate to the park if you are staying on the site.
I think they going to make a new camp site some time soon.

We attempted to stay here in September but were turned away when we arrived at 8.30pm Friday evening (there's no pre booking) because our car has sign writing on it. Their publicity says no commercial vehicles, but as ours is a normal family car we thought it would be ok. It wasn't, so be warned! We ended up at a very basic but friendly campsite a few miles away, but it was no fun being turned away from Drayton Manor when the children were tired and needed to go to bed. The theme park was great though

Stayed here with a large group of family members (plenty of kids). Campsite is very basic but extremely well located if using the Theme park. Site security was good with regular patrols through day and night. Didn't manage to even find the shop although it apparently does exist. No designated pitches so just a free for all were you pitch but that was kind of nice as you could be as close or as far away as you wanted from other campers. Discounted entry into park when using site is also a big plus for this site as that is the main reason 99.9% of us are there.
