This site is an absolute gem! Excellent facilities - with the exception of a shop. The children's play area is superb and well thought out. Shower and toilet facilities are spotless and well maintained. The site is generously laid out, without the problem of overcrowding which happens too often. Viv & Jacky were very welcoming, and ensured that all the facilities were pointed out. The site was quiet and also very family friendly. However, if you wish to avail yourself of further facilities there is, with mutual agreement from the respective owners, a short walk through at the top of the site into the New Minerton lodges and static vans site, which also has an extensive dog walking area, club-house, swimming pool, etc. Easy access to Tenby and local attractions. One word of warning though - don't trust your GPS. Ensure that you come in on the B4318. This is a site which we hope to visit again and again.

Wonderful site. Spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Kids play area was best we have ever seen on a touring site. Grounds were immaculate and the super pitch we had was well worth the small extra. Bins were emptied daily. Lovely set up with vans and tents placed around each other. You can use facilities of their site next door which has a heated outdoor pool but we had so much to fit in during the week we didn't get the time. Peaceful location but only a short drive to lots of places to visit. We will definitely be returning. Best we have visited so far. Worthy of its 5 stars.

What a lovely site. We have been camping for many years and has to be one of the best we have been on. The facilities are very good free hot showers, nice and quiet and tidy, good dog exercise area and park for children to play on. Great location for exploring the area. The owners are great when we had a power cut they were there to fix the problem within 5 minutes and fixed in 30 minutes. Will definitely be going back!

Stayed here for 3 nights wish we could have stayed longer.
Site was spotless showers just right and free.
Owner could not be more helpful.
No club house but could use the one on the static site next door (5 minute walk)again nice and peaceful site.
Will definitely go back next season.
4 star site in my opinion.
The chap who was like a handyman (don't know if he was the owner) but he was always on the go doing something.
There is so much to see in the area you can not get bored.
We usually go somerset way but no more for a while to much to explore in this area for the wife and i.

We are regular campers in and around Tenby. This was our first visit to Trefalun. We paid for 14 nights, sadly with the wet weather it was cut short to 13. We booked 2 pitches side by side 1 for caravan + awning and 1 for a tent + porch.
Positive:
*Toilets and showers were always clean and tidy. *Excellent park with a range of facilities, to suit all ages, for children to play on. *Large enough washroom to wash dishes. *Sufficient ampage on electric hook up. *Access to park next door for meals / drinks. *There was daily maintenance (emptying bins, cleaning facilities. )
Negative:
*Grounds were not level and we could not see boundaries of each pitch; plus with the level of precipitation that fell we soon had gulleys of water invading the pitches. *Even though there was a park, it couldn't be seen from camp pitches and yet was easily accessible from the main road. *We were told there was a van delivering daily supplies, yet we never saw it or any information regarding times etc. *We were told we could use facilities of the park next door although we felt the daily charge (per person) for the use of the small outside pool was too expensive for us. *After moving our tent on 7th day because of the wet unlevel ground, we felt the customer service sadly fell. We understood that coping with people wanting to move pitches because of the wet ground was unsettling, but still we expected manners.
Attractions: Tenby Harbour celebrations on a Sunday is a must for all. In wet weather Tenby or Haverfordwest Swimming baths were a cheaper option. We love Coppet Hall beach (£3 to park all day) with easy walking access into Saundesfoot for shopping / fishing trips and cream teas. Carmarthan great for access to cinema. Caldey Island is fabulous for a day trip.

Very impressed with this site. It was very peaceful and there were plenty of showers and toilets which were kept very clean.
Only the second time we have been in our campervan so we are newbys at this. There was a short walk into the caravan park next door (New Minnerton) where there was a family bar and swimming pool that could be used. Did not use these facilities though as we had the dog with us.
Walked into the village of St Florence which is a lovely village to explore. Would definitely use this site again.

Had only two nights here on this very well looked after site, but would not hesitate to return, and we very likely will. New looking shower block with ample free hot showers (not 20p as stated in previous reviews, we think they may have been upgraded recently).
Great play area for kids, and lovely facilities in every respect. Immaculate lawns and grounds, handyman was working on something everyday, so maintenance is clearly a priority.
There had been a lot of rain, so hence grass was a bit squishy in places. Very friendly owners, and the seasonal caravanners/residents seemed very friendly too.
If I had to find any bad points, or at least in terms of feedback, I'm surprised at the purpose built hard standing pitches being out of level. You expect the grass pitches to be a bit out, but I would have thought that purpose built tarmac pitches, should have been made level, and with a wider access, as some are very narrow and tight to reverse into, but still nothing that would prevent a return visit.
Also we weren't sure if we could park on the grass next to our pitch. Some said you weren't allowed, and none of the seasonal pitches had adjacent cars, but in the other field everyone seemed to be parking on their pitch. I like a site where I can park next to my unit, not in a car park, so I parked next to the van anyway, and nothing was said!
All in all we had a great (brief) time here, and the site was lovely. We paid £28 per night for 2 adults and 4 kids (mid season prices) which I thought was slightly high, but I guess when you are a popular site you can charge higher prices, and the facilities were great after all. Price includes hookup, as all pitches have hookups.
Would never hesitate to recommend it to others.

To sum up this campsite, on our way home I was planning our next visit! A lovely quiet site, with friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive, owners. Site was kept spotlessly clean, both the buildings and grounds, and the owners were only too glad to help when we found we had a flat tyre as we were about to return home and to give advice on where to shop or visit, or just to chat! Free, hot showers, the best playground I have ever seen and plenty of space and peace and quiet. Close to plenty of great places to visit (Heatherton is a must for the more adventuorus!) and nearby Tenby and Narbeth. A site not to be missed!

We came here for the second part of our Easter break - we stayed for 4 nights.
The site is well maintained and the facilities were good.
Plenty of washing up sinks with hot water in a proper indoor building. They left cloths by each sink but the same, rather grubby ones, were still there at the end of our stay. Also, nobody had cleaned this area during our stay (not even swept) until I brought it to someone's attention.
Good showers, although, comparing to another site recently, they weren't particularly big. There were those blue rubber bath mats on the floor though which is great because you don't get your clothes wet when getting dressed.
We booked a super-pitch which was, indeed, super.

What an excellent site very clean and tidy. Childrens park was fantastic for our 9 year old however became a little boisterous later with older children and lacked some features for our 3 year old but having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks here.
It offers a great base to explore from and also has things right on the doorstep such as the High ropes at Heaterton and Manor House wildlife park however this is quite small and probably better for an afternoon rather than all day.
The pitches are slightly sloping so timber or wedges are useful the water pressure is great however the waste water had to go slightly up hill so hindered the drainage slightly.
No club on this part of the site but you get to use the club house at New Minerton who were very receptive, and have children's entertainer on Friday and Bingo and Karaoke / singers on Saturdays
Grass is mown on every occasion keeping the park looking in great condition at all times and no noise after 11 makes it great for people with young families.
No shop means no more Mum / Dad can I have. However the local village store does arrive between 9 - 9. 30 with a van for everyday things like milk papers etc.
I would highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a safe child friendly park without the standard Haven style grab all the money you can philosophy.
Sat nav takes you down some winding and very narrow lanes close to the camp so be careful to check out where you are going on a map.
Check in was from 2. 30 which I thought was a little late however you don't have to leave until 12 so it does give you a little more time to pack up in the morning.
Toilets were clean and fresh 20p (4 MINS) for a shower (we used our van one so I cant comment on how these were), . Very good waste disposal point custom stainless steel area with water jet keeping everything clean, the best I have used.
