Superb ! Well spaced out immaculate Site with the cleanest toilet blocks I have used. Big shower cubicles that give you 4 minutes for 20p of nice hot water. Room for me and one of the kids in there no problem. Kids play area really good with a large football pitch, swings, slides etc that our kids loved. Even with the Site busy there was still room for them to play. Dog walk is about an acre so plenty of room for the four legged friends. Owners very friendly and there was room for us to have a family game of cricket at night in front of the Camper. We looked around for the best pitch for next Whitsun and to be honest we couldn't pick one, they we all so good.

Local pubs in St. Florence are not the best. Food poor and real ale below average. Head for Wisemans Bridge. This has a super pub overlooking the beach doing great food and real ale.

If you are taking the dog head for Manorbier or Wisemans Bridge as dogs are allowed on these beaches and they are nice beaches, unlike some that allow dogs. Tenby is the best beach in my opinion but you cant take the dog on May to September other than right at the top of South beach. So great Site, great location and not too expensive. £21 each night for 2 adults 3 kids and a dog. Saying that our twins were free because they were younger than 6. Fantastic holiday and going back next year.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Trefulun. We have three children aged 1, 3 and 6. We all had a fantastic time. The site has been voted our best so far. Kids loved the play area. The older two were able to use all the equipment unaided and our 1 year old was able to toddle about safely on the clean grass.

Showers were good and clean. 4 minutes sufficient for me to put all 3 kids in together. Kids were able to use bikes around the site area and all drivers kept speed down to a minimum. Not much traffic about at all. Site owners very friendly and helpful. Our pitch was on hardstanding and I think we were one of the lucky ones, as the grassed area was very muddy, wet and not draining well in the wet weather. On our first night the rainwater soaked through our groundsheet and ruined all things stored on the floor. Some tenters did cut their stay short because of the weather and the fact that the ground did not drain too well.

Rabbits and a donkey to keep kids amused. No shop on site though a van from near by St. Florence comes by daily with the basics on.

Spent day at folly farm which is a must for families. Nearby Tenby is also definitely worth spending some time at. We visited St. Davids and Marloe Sands. Both excellent although do check the tide times for Marloe.

All in all, I could have stayed on much longer as both the site and the area were truly beautiful.

Our stay was brilliant, we had fantastic weather, our 2 daughters had statics next to each other and we were able to put our caravan next to them. It was great for grandkids to cycle around, very safe for them and a great kids play area,
The toilet block was spotless, with plenty of everything you need. There is plenty of water taps and waste disposal areas, but for me as we were on spot 32, it was quite a trek to empty your chemical toilet waste, you definatley need a trolly as it's just by reception area
Apart from that your local into tenby, saundersfoot and amroth, if going into tenby take right turn out of the site, it's quicker. Then make a left. There's a tesco at pembroke dock.
Its a nice site and well looked after.

This was our 3rd yearly visit staying for around 10 days each time. We cannot fault the site at all!

Excellent cleanliness in the shower/toilet block and the grass always looks tidy. The dog walk is very good and our 2 dogs were welcomed. We have relatives in Tenby so it is ideal for us. We would highly recommend this site

We visited this site with a 9 and 5 year old who voted it the best site ever! They loved the play park and even more so the road around the park which made a great cycleway! Most units had young children and drivers on site were courteous and careful. The youngest made sure she was involved in feeding the rabbits or horses most days and knew the owners dogs by name.
Can't fault the site cleanliness, bins were emptied regularly and the toilets and showers were always clean ( though on one occasion we were caught out when cleaning occurred between 10.30 and 11 and we were running late. )Showers cost 20p for 4 minutes and were always clean, warm and had lots of room. Other hot water was free.

The daily visiting shop from St Florence had all the basics and there were plenty of supermarkets within a short drive if needed.
The surrounding area was fantastic, In addition to the beaches we'd recommend a day at Pembroke castle ( family ticket just £10), and had a really full, fun day at nearby Folly Farm.
Our only problems were the weather ( no-one to blame for the this) and the damage it caused.
The lower pitches, ours included were waterlogged when we arrived and after heavy rain we had a river running through the tent.
After a clean up it left us with what felt like cushion flooring for the rest of the week and some really yucky groundsheets.
The kids are already asking when can we go back.

Arrived at site after a particularly wet spell of weather. The pitch allocated was in the bottom field of a gently sloping site. The pitch was very water logged, we were offered an alternative in the same field but this was no improvement on the first. As the week progressed weather improved but field continued to become muddier. We decided to cut our losses and after 4 nights  found a much drier site close by.
On the plus side there was an excellent playground for older children although very limited for younger ones.
The toilets were clean no queues to use the facilities. Excellent showers, loads of room.
Site is very central for  activities in and around Tenby and very quiet.
Whilst we understand that the owners had no control over the weather the bottom field was not suitable for camping after wet weather as it took too long to drain. The gentleman in the office seemed unconcerned that we were leaving early having paid for the week and did not make us feel as if we wanted to come back. Thought it an expensive site.

WE have just returned from a 5 night break at this site. All in all the site is adequate, spaced out marked pitches (although it wasn't very busy during our visit). The shower block was okay, showers were a warm but not very powerful. As previous comments the hair dryer was "useless", took an age to dry my hair.

During our stay we did not catch sight of the van that visits the site so not sure whether this is a seasonal thing.

Bad Points:-
New Minerton - is not really in walking distance (very dark lane - single file) to contend with. We drove up to the club house only to find a gentleman stood nearby who gave us the most inappropriate stare as though we were from another planet.

There is no shop/club house on site which would be a godsend due to the location of the camp site. Although the information suggests otherwise.

This site is located just a few miles from Tenby, and 5 mins walking distance from the village of St Florence. It has just over 100 pitches with around half of those for tents, the other made up of caravans and mobile homes. On arrival, the reception wasn't manned for a short while except for a very large Great Dane, which we didnt mind as he was very docile! The gentlemen who eventually turned up wasnt the most welcoming and in fact seemed a bit peeved that we had turned up! He gave us our pitch number (well actually a few pitch numbers as it was quiet) and pointed it out to us on the map.
The site is fairly level with plenty of space between each pitch. We had a bit of trouble with our electric hook up but not sure if that was not using one before or the connection.
There is a dog exercise area but its not possible to let the dog off the lead as its not enclosed at all (which is my opinion a dog exercise area should have). Apparently, there is supposed to be a mobile shop van but we never saw one or even told about one at reception. There is a camping gas store which also lets you use the freezer for your freeze boxes. I only found out about this by chance as again we werent told about any facilities at all!
There is a nice adventure playground/park for kids with a couple of decent goalposts at either end for a game of football. There is a donkey and a horse and some rabbits too for your kids (and grown ups!) entertainment.
The tolets/showers were very good and appeared clean every time we used them. Yes, the showers are 20p for 4 mins (although I'm sure its longer) but it was plenty long enough for me and my wife. This is good value for money and also environmentally friendly!
Overall we would recommend this campsite as its quiet and level with the toilets close to wherever you pitch. The surrounding area of Tenby / Pembrokeshire will give you and your kids plenty to do.
To the owner of the campsite, just improve on your welcoming approach and you'll have an excellent campsite.

We love this site. We have a 5 year old boy, and it had everything needed to keep him happy. It has a nice big play area, smooth paths for him to ride his bike, and plenty of kids of similar age to play with.

The showers and toilets are ok, they can get a bit smelly at busy periods, but I like the idea of paying for the water as it stops people hogging the showers so much.

Its very well located, just 10 minutes drive into Tenby and close to the major roads to take you to wherever you want.

We have booked to go again next year

What can I say Trefalun is a fantastic site, we have been camping in and around Tenby for a few years now, and my wife and I and my kids love it here having had many a great holiday in tenby and saundersfoo. Great beaches fantastic places to visit like Caldey island, Hatherton Park Dinosaur world and Oakwood theme park which we will be visiting this year (2007).

We booked Trefalun because of the reviews on this site and the photos we saw on therie website. This site is very clean and tidy, the bins are emptied every day which in the peak of summer is a godsend. The kids play area was good fun for the kids as they spent many hours there. I must say that my wife and I felt very safe on this site we didnt feel we had to keep checking on the kids every 5 mins.

The showers only 20p for 4 mins were clean but not too hot so you burn yourself which is handy with young children. There is no on site shop but there was a local shop van which visited every morning which had all the main items like bread and milk sweets for the kids and daily papers.

On the whole we loved this site so much we booked to come back again in July. Dont let any reviews put you off this site, if you want a nice quiet site with no loud club and a somwhere safe for the kids to play then visit trefalun you wont regret it, we didnt. Happy camping
