This is one of the best sites we have stayed at in over 10 years of touring. We stayed here for 2 weeks in August 2005 & had a wonderful holiday. The site is spotless & very well equipped. Most pitches are flat and a very good size. Although there is no shop on site there is a great little shop van that visits every morning.
The site is conveniently situated for both Tenby & Saundersfoot and there are a few attractions for children that are within walking distance. The owners of the site are absolutely brilliant & couldn't do enough for you. We would definitely recommend this site to anyone & will be back to stay in the very near future.

We have been goiong to this site since 1995. We travel down from Edinburgh and stay just over the two weeks. We have two children 11yrs and 5yrs who both love it there, especially the playpark which although is at the beginning of the park it is monitered by CCTV.
This is the best site by far in this area, it is clean, spacious, and very friendly. The owners are very nice and friendly and are always willing to help. There is a small area with rabbits and guinea pigs, also two donkeys in a field nearby and a big great dane dog called Hoby who loves the attention from everyone. There is a mobile van that comes everyday with milk, papers and bread, and there are supermarkets approx 15mins or 20mins away for the bigger shop.
Local attraction are Folly Farm a place for all the family feed the animals, go on the little train the tractor,or spend time in the old fashioned fairground. Oakwood Wales is biggest Theme park. Heatherton a 10 minute walk from the campsite which has lots of sporting activities. The beaches are clean and tidy and go on for miles. We have already booked for next year and will continue doing so for the next few years too.

Another great tenting week at Trefalun (went last year and loved it)with hubby, 14 year old daughter and dog. The play area has some great new things added for the little ones and everything on site is still spotless. The owners were there to great us again with Hoby the Great Dane - it was like we'd never been away from the place. This is still a must visit site and I'd challenge anyone to find one better so close to Tenby, Saundersfoot etc. Thanks for providing a great base for our week in South Wales. We'll see you next year and we'll bring the sunshine again!!

August 2005 I have just returned from a week at this site, and I must say that it is one of the best I've been to. Facilities were generally clean, nice location and pretty quiet. Good dog exercise area and the local mobile shop that visits every morning was very handy. My only gripes would be that the toilets could be cleaned (or bleached) more than once a day, and you cannot erect a gazebo with sides on (due to some by-law apparently that classes gazebo's with sides as tents and then this relates to fire safety), that is, if there is room to erect it in the first place which you won't find out until you arrive???? but we found there to be lots of space. The owners seemed pleasant enough though. The children's play area is monitored by cctv, which is a good. We had a few wet days with heavy rain at times but the ground didn't become saturated or boggy.

July 2005 An excellent site with spotless and uncrowded showers, toilets and washroom. Good Park for 5 and overs, but supervision needed for the under 5's as some equipment could be a bit hazardous.
Pitches are spacious and some are serviced. No Shop on the site, but this is not necessary as a van visits each morning with the essentials and a very good Farmshop/deli is just at the end of the lane.
The Site is perfectly located for the Tenby Theme Parks, 3 of which are no more than 5 minutes drive - great for young Children. Tenby and Saundersfoot are themselves only a 10 - 15 minute drive. The use of the Club / bar on the adjoining site is also a good feature as there are no pubs within walking distance.
A Great site to which we will definitely return, just hope the weather is better next time!!

July 2005 Lovely site, warm welcome, the park was brilliant for our children aged 5 & 8 but not for little ones. Lovely dog walk, all pitches very spacious.
Only complaint was 20p for showers that last 4 mins so have your hair cut short before you go to save time! The tent pitches are at the bottom of the site and the toilets are at the top - little difficult after a few ciders!
But overall brilliant and we will definitely return.

June 2005 I visited this site with my family from 6 to 12 June 2005 (although only originally booked for the four nights). This site is excellent. All the pictures in the brochure are exactly what they are. The owners were friendly, the toilets, shower rooms, dishwashing area are all spotless.
Some people may think that the fact it does not have an on-site shop is a let down but it did not appear to cause us a problem. We generally got what we needed for the following day from Supermarket in Tenby. There is also a village shop open from 8am to 7pm in St Florence which is very well stocked for a "small size shop". The children's play area is fantastic.
Again, it was very well kept and plenty for the children to play on. My four year old daughter thought the rope slide was brill. I really cannot find any fault with this site. It is excellent and am already planning my next visit next year.

May 2005 We have just returned from a very pleasant bank holiday weekend stay at Trefalun Park.
As the other reviewers have stated, the owners are very friendly and helpful and the campsite is perfect for children. There is plenty of room for them to roam, cycle etc. The playground is wonderful and the donkeys and other animals an excellent extra touch.
We walked to the local wildlife park with our kids, and spent a very pleasant afternoon. The kids especially enjoyed holding a snake and handling some bugs.
There is also an adventure park next to the wildlife park (although we did not visit it).
In the nearby village of St Florence we came across a tearoom with a maze. We spent a lovely couple of hours here, the children thouroughly enjoyed this.
All in all, a very pleasant couple of days.

July 2004 A very good site. My family all had a great time. The facilities were modern and clean, most pitches flat and reasonably spaced but the real highlight was the playground: it is in a large fenced area and and had a rope slide (a bit different!).
There are lots of really good beaches in all directions. Also, Folly Farm is well worth a visit.
Only grumble was that the chemical toilet disposal area needs to be updated and made to be more user-friendly. We will definitely return to the area and probably this site again.

August 2004 Didn't stay here but paid a quick visit as reviews were so good. Was very clean and well presented - a bit out of the way though - you'd need to get in the car to go anywhere. Toilets & showers v.nice. Was full on day of visit - but not 'packed'. Flat pitches - no scenic views.
