Just returned from a weekend at Tretio. Immaculate facilities with plenty of hotwater for showers and dishwashing. Even though the site was practically full we never had to wait for toilets or showers and there was no noise after 11pm. Very family friendly with plenty of space for children to play ball games, a climbing wall and safe park.
A lovely location, with Whitesands and Abereiddy being a short drive away. My only criticism would be the pitch sizes being a little small.

Very well tended site, clean facilities, well draining pitches, but a bit cramped. We paid extra for a large tent, but could not see what difference it made. One evening showers all ran cold, which was annoying. There was a noisy family group late into the night which we put up with for two nights then complained to the owners who dealt with it, but we felt they should have done a late night walkabout every night instead of leaving the site completely unsupervised. They were very nice and helpful however. Fabulous beach nearby called Whitesands but limited parking till they opened an overflow in a campsite nearby. Narrow lanes are hairy, especially if you follow sat nav. Best to stay on main road to St David's and turn left at the rugby club.

We have just returned from an amazing week exploring Pembrokeshire using Tretio as our base. We couldn't recommend the site enough. Margaret and Brian were welcoming, informative and went over and above to make our stay the best it could be.
The facilities were spotless and the site exceptionally well maintained. It was wonderful to have free hot showers that were hot and had heating!
The extras such as the climbing wall and the pitch and put we're great additions and enjoyed by the children, who felt safe and welcome to freely explore.
If you are considering visiting Pembrokeshire then Tretio will offer a great base to explore the beaches, coastal paths and beautiful countryside of Wales.
Our only comment to be aware of, is that the pitches are rather narrow and so with a 7 berth tent we would have been squashed to pitch and park should the site have been full.

We decided upon Tretio after reading a few of the reviews and we weren't disappointed. What a total gem of a site!
Shortly after arrival we were greeted by Manager/owner Brian, who gave us loads of info on the area and recommended some local pubs, beaches etc. He was really friendly and genuine, which is a rarity these days. We met his wife Margaret the following day and were treated with the same caring respect.
The site is situated in an amazing rural location a short drive from St Davids, Whitesands Bay and Abereiddy/Blue Lagoon. There's mixture of static caravan pitches and electric/non-electric camping set out in 3 separate fields. There is a large play area for the kids to run wild and play ball games/ride bikes etc. A playground, climbing wall, a large field dedicated to (free) Pitch and Putt and a (free) Orienteering trail. Ball games are not allowed around the camping area which makes a nice change. I have children of my own so I'm not bothered too much by a bit of noise, but I have to say the kids on the site were really well behaved and all seemed to take advantage of the facilities rather than making a nuisance of themselves around the pitches.
The site was immaculately presented and all the facilities were spotless. There are 5 individual shower rooms and a generously sized family room all with unlimited, free hot water. There is also a large washing up area and laundry room with use of fridge and freezer and phone charging point. Even though the site was fairly busy we never had to queue for facilities and all areas were inspected and cleaned frequently. The toilet block has hairdrying facilities are is one of the cleanest I have ever come across!
Each pitch is mowed and tidied in the morning as soon as it has been vacated and there is a regular presence from Brian and Margaret around the site if you need any assistance.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tretio and booked an extra night as we didn't want to leave! It is a fantastic base for exploring all of Pembrokeshires treasures and we will definitely be back next year :)

Just returned from a 9 night stay at Tretio. I have to congratulate Brian and Margaret on their hard work in keeping all of the facilities spotlessly clean and making all guest really welcome.
The kids play area is great and the space for ball games, kite flying, cycling etc. Was fantastic, the pitch and put also provided a welcome distraction.
My only slight negative is about the size of the pitches in the electric hook up field, they are a little small, our van with an 8ft awning left about 2ft one side and 4 ft the other and when the field was full it felt cramped.
Unfortunately we missed the Wednesday night entertainment but it was said to be good fun.
Overall a really nice, friendly, well kept site in as beautiful part of the world.

This is a rare site indeed: a caravan and camping site with statics, where people camping are not treated as second class citizens (a rare treat)! It's an absolutely fantastic site, and one to which we'll be returning!
We liked:
* The ethos. The owners are lovely. They gave us a really warm welcome, and had lots of hints and tips to save us money during our stay. They are helpful without being intrusive, and dealt well with a night-time noise issue on the site.
* The layout of the site. The site is divided into 2 parts: the static caravan park, and the campsite. The campsite has 2 fields: a hook-up field and a non-hook-up field, and the pitches were well marked out. There is a play park with a cushioned surface, a separate pitch and putt (for which you can borrow clubs and balls for a deposit of £2), and a big separate field for children to play ball games and run around. This field also has a climbing wall (make sure your children are supervised!), and a tap to rinse wetsuits and beach stuff. Because of the ball games field, the children aren't allowed to play ball games anywhere else, which has a really good effect, in that the children all go and play together: whilst we were on site, we hardly saw our 2 (11 and 6) as they were off playing with their new friends the whole time! An added bonus is that children are allowed to cycle on the site: that's not the case on every site, and it was really appreciated by our 2.
* The facilities block. Everything is in one block and is spotlessly clean. There are plenty of shower rooms(unisex) with free hot water (a major bonus), the toilets are clean and well-kept, and the washing up area has free hot water.
* The laundry room. This not only had a washing machine (£3) and a tumble dryer, but also a charging point (free to use) for mobiles etc. , and 2 fridges and a freezer for everybody to use for no extra cost.
* The orienteering challenge - the children thoroughly enjoyed the orienteering challenge!
* Elaine's burgers - the burger / chip van comes around on a Wednesday night / Saturday night and Sunday morning. Very useful!
* Live music on Wednesday night. The owners jokes are terrible, but his playing and singing are fantastic.
The following are very minor, picky things, but we didn't like:
* The pitches on the hook-up field are a little narrow.
* The site is a drive away from anywhere.
While we were there, I went to the sung Eucharist in St. David's Cathedral (11. 15am Sunday morning), which was beautiful; we visited the Bishop's Palace; mooched around St. David's, ate lunch at the Harbour Inn in Solva and went walking around there; ate lunch at the Sloop in Porthgain, walked it off for a bit, then had excellent ice cream at the shop opposite the Sloop. We also visited Whitesands, Broadhaven and Abereiddy beaches - all of which are fantastic!
This is a great site, and we definitely intend returning!

Good located campsite that was reasonably priced. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
The facilities were very clean and well maintained and it was lovely to see FREE showers! There were also a good number of toilets and showers available.
The site and pitches were well maintained and in good order. The pitches were also of a good size. Would definitely return! The owners also kept control over ball games on the site and provided an area for them to play.
The only complaint was the really loud music late at night from another campsite.

A very clean and friendly site. Brian and margaret will do all they can to help you, even supplying maps for suggested walking routes and recommendations for places to eat. On site facilities were clean with free showers and a handy launderette. A 9 hole pitch and putt course is available with clubs and balls, free of charge. We walked and cycled from the site and the coast path is within 1/2 stroll. The nearest shops are in st. David's, about 3 miles away. The blue lagoon at abereiddy beach is a must.

Just got back from 2 gorgeous weeks blessed with glorious sun at this fantastic site in beautiful surroundings. Very well maintained grass pitches. Some slightly sloping in the electrical hook up field we were in but not a big problem. Lovely showers (separate unisex cubicles plus a family shower/ toilet) and toilets. All kept spotlessly clean and never needed to queue even though we were there mid-August. Extremely friendly and helpful managers- who were a very visible presence during the daytime/ early evening whilst we were there and always had a cheery word of greeting and had good suggestions for eating out, etc. Mostly families with children staying, so nice and peaceful once it got dark! The pitch and putt was fun and essentially free to use- just a refundable deposit for loan of clubs/ balls. There is also an orienteering course around the site although we didn't get around to trying this. Nice small play area with slide and climbing frame ship for younger children and a big grassy 'ball field' for running around in and playing football, etc. Has a spray hospipe for washing off wetsuits, etc. About a 10 min drive from St Davids along a slightly windy road and no shops/ pubs in walking distance but not a problem for us. Also about 10 mins drive to Whitesands beach which is lovely and great for sand castles/ body boarding/ surfing/ kayaking, etc. Overall highly recommended.

Had a lovely three days on this beautifully kept site. We were staying elsewhere for most of our two week holiday but had to leave and find another site as the place we were on was fully booked. We contacted Tretio the evening before we needed a pitch and were taken care of by Brian and Barbara who run the site. We asked how early we could arrive as we were only towing the van a few miles from another site. Brian obligingly said anytime you like, so we took a bit of a liberty and arrived around 09:45 which took Barbara a little bit by surprise. It didn't stop her running towards us offering a warm handshake and remembering our names from the previous days chat on the phone lead us to the camp field and offered us any of the available pitches. She explained who was due to arrive and which spots were booked, giving us the opportunity to select a spot near to, or away from others. This nice little touch proved to be typical behaviour from the owners who go out of their way to ensure your needs are taken care of. Bad customer service can ruin a holiday. Excellent customer service all too often goes unnoticed. Toilets, showers, washing up area, all in excellent spotless condition. Grass kept neat. Nothing else to say. A perfect touring caravan site and shall return.
