Just returned from a short break at this wonderful site with my husband and 2 boys in our large tent.
The pitch we were given was huge and protected by the trees. Although the weather was very unkind to us it didn't spoil the short time we had there.
Site managers were extremely friendly and helpful and the site was immaculate.
Showers would benefit from having an area to get dry and dressed but that is in no way a criticism. Will be back !

Just wanted to leave a quick review to reiterate what others have been saying.
Stayed for 6 nights in July this year. Great site. Brian and Margaret are very friendly and helpful. Got to know us all by name.
Took a 5 month old golden retriever on her first camping trip and she loved it. Fantastic walks right from the site onto public footpaths.
Facilities were always clean and tidy, showers always hot and the grass always kept in excellent condition.
We shall return over the next few years. Everyone else camping clearly of similar nature and v. Friendly also.
Would recommend Ship Inn, Trefin for food at a reasonable price and doggy friendly.
Also Royal St George in Solva does Chinese takeaway on Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun evenings from 6. Best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had!
Keep up the excellent work and commitment to a lovely, friendly, family run site.

Had an amazing 2 night stay recently at Tretio. Really impressed by the facilities and cleanliness of the site - toilets and showers were immaculate.
Plenty to do for all ages; playing field and pitch & putt golf were a bonus. Lovely quiet location, not too far from St Davids and Solva. A short walk from a couple of stunning beaches.
Brian and Margaret were very helpful and welcoming too! We'll definitely be going back soon!

A beautiful clean site, extremely welcoming and stunning views from our pitch. The facilities were above and beyond our expectations, clean, well lit and with plenty of hot water. The pitch and putt was an absolute winner with the boys and our younger children loved the play area. Both Brian and Margaret are so friendly and approachable and were so helpful with tips on where to go. The whole park is beautifully maintained and we have already booked to return! As stated in other reviews there is no big supermarket on your doorstep, but this was never an issue for us, we were prepared for the drive over into Haverfordwest once we had set up camp to do some shopping. Just a note there is a Nisi store only 3 miles away on the way into St Davids, which stocked pretty much everything you would need.

Had a restful if blustery week at Tretio. It was the week of the storms so was blustery everywhere !
Lovely well-maintained clean site with good facilities.
Brian and Margaret friendly and extremely helpful. In fact we tried out every walk that Margaret recommended and weren't disappointed once.
We ate at the shed, can honestly say they were the nicest fish and chips we had ever tasted. Also had a gorgeous crab salad at the ship.
The perenial nursery near by is well worth a visit, lots of good advice, we came home with some good reasonably priced plants.

We stayed here for the Jubilee weekend and the site was busy. We were pitched in the playing field (non-electric) and although there was a slight slope it was not a problem.
There was a water point near us and breeze blocks available to put BBQs or fires on.
Your name and pitch number are displayed at reception when you arrive so if it is unmanned and the pitch is clear you can get started.
Price was £19 per night for 4 of us (2 adults & 2 children) and this seems reasonable in comparison to other sites.
The facilities here are excellent, plenty of showers and toilets which were clean and didn’t need queuing for.
There is also a laundry room which we needed to use as it rained so much, the tumble drier takes 50p which lasted until the clothes were dry. There is also a fridge and freezer which we used for ice packs.
The washing up area is covered with a few sinks and hot water, again these were clean and modern.
The golf course was popular and a fair size for a site like this. The kids loved the climbing frames and there was plenty of room generally for them to play.
Brian and Margaret were very friendly and helpful and were constantly cleaning and mowing etc, which is why the site is so well kept.
Although there is nothing close to the site to walk to, it’s a great base for the Pembrokeshire coast generally and St Davids itself, which has quite a lot to do for the smallest city in Britain.
The only downside for me was the noise at night. There was a large group behind us who stayed up until 2am the first night and 5am the second night! The 3rd night they went to bed at 11ish but lots of new people had come in that day and two other groups were up until the small hours again… There is no policy shown of ‘lights out’ so I don’t know if this is the norm here.
That is the only thing that would put me off returning, as it was the long bank holiday weekend and half term perhaps it was louder than usual?

This was a wonderful bijou campsite. Brian and Margaret were extremely hardworking and friendly managers.
The site is outstandingly clean and well presented. The facilities were immaculate and more than adequate.
The site is extremely well maintained.
The site has nothing really close to walk to but that is part of its charm. Brian and Margaret cannot do enough to help you and are both genuine and enthusiastic about the area.
We had a superb view across the fields. Brian and Margaret suggested a wonderful walk along the coastline which we took and loved.
St David's is a lovely location and the area even though it was a bank holiday was not over touristy. There was a free 9 hole pitch and putt on site which was surprisingly large and well kept and fun.
This site is for the quieter camper with or without kids. Even have an orienteering course for those who would like it. We will definitely come back.

This was a lovely site that we and our children enjoyed our time on (kids 11&8). The boys especially enjoyed the pitch & putt golf which is a real bargain as it is free! You only pay a refundable deposit for the hire of your clubs and balls. They spent a whole afternoon on there, along with playing football on the additional field for ball games which is in good sight of wherever you pitch.
I would say that for us it was a little in the middle of nowhere with very little nearby in the way of shops/takeout food when you have children, especially for us after a 4 hour drive, we we're all starving and spent over an hour driving round! We eventually found that the King George pub in the nearby village of Solva served chinese takeouts, bit pricey but we were desperate. It would have been good if on the owners website, information about local things like this were given. However, once we had been to Morrisons in Haverfordwest and stocked up we were fine!
Brian and Margaret were very helpful and take good care of the site, all of the facilities we very clean and are fairly modern, even though they don't seem to be from the outside.
Our weather turned on our last day so we left early but would definitely recommend it for a weekend retreat if as parents you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing time.
If we lived closer we would re-visit but it turned out to be a little bit too long a drive for us for a weekend.

Just returned from a great stay on this site - myself, 2 children (14 & 7) & our dog.
On arrival we where greeted by name (having booked by telephone). Our pitch was still occupied (we where early) but we where given coffee & hot chocolate, very welcome after a 10 hour journey from Scotland!
A guided 'tour' of the toilet, showers/laundry/washing up area & our pitch was ready. Nothing fancy here but more than adequate ALWAYS hot water!
Very helpful with anything we asked.
Playpark was great for youngest & because there's no shop or arcade there's no constant requests for money - 1 of the reasons I chose it!
St Davids is the closest town with CKs supermarket, chemist etc but we preferred to go to Haverfordwest where there is a large Tescos, 'high st' stores & lots of places to eat!
Will be returning & would recommend this site highly!

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday at Tretio. We are reasonably new to camping and found this site met all of our needs. We are a family of 4 with two young children aged 3 and 5.
The showers and toilets were very clean and well maintained. We used the family shower room each day, never once having to wait for it! This was very useful for us and the boys.
The children enjoyed playing on the play area and in the football field. There were lots of children on site and it had a real family feel. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
We visited Newgale beach, Barafundle Bay and Whitesands beach. All were very clean and beautiful with clear sea. Jumping the waves at Whitesands kept us busy for hours!
We also took the children to Pembroke and Carew castles. The boys enjoyed this a lot and we felt they were good value for money.
We ate at the Cambrian pub in Solva which was very welcoming and gave the children free chocolate! We shopped at Tesco in Haverfordwest (about 20 minutes drive).
If you visit St David's then don't miss a trip to The Bench ice cream shop!
