Just come back from a lovely few days at this site. One of the best sites we have stayed on. Lots of space and playground for the kids to play on. Lovely couple own it and can't do enough for you. Lots of showers and hot water, even a handy family bathroom with shower which our boys loved. They are 3 and 6 and made so many friends on the camp site they didn't want to leave.
Weather was beautiful in the day and although windy at night, we felt quite sheltered. Camp site runs next to a lovely walk. We went to Abereiddy beach which was about 2 miles down the road, beautiful blue lagoon, which when hubby saw, he had to go into St David's and hire a wetsuit (£10 for day from TYF)so he could do some jumping. Will definitely go back, probably with Nanny and Grandad and their caravan as we could park next to each other.

Had a cold and windy 3 nights at this amazing site last week, and cannot find anything other than the weather to complain about! When we arrived, there was nobody in reception, but a sweet little note on the door letting us know that if our booked pitch was too windy, we could pitch anywhere else as long as we stayed close to the hardstanding. We did end up pitching elsewhere, so we could go 'bum to wind' without also being 'bum to site' lol. Brian soon appeared to check we were ok, gave us some lovely info about the site facilities and surrounding area, and offered an additional heater as the temperature dropped on the first evening, which was very welcome!
The site facilities are awesome! Lovely clean toilets, plenty of showers, with plenty of free hot water (much needed after nights of sleeping in -4ish degrees!)The play area kept my kids amused for hours, especially the youngest, who has a lot of energy to burn.
Had a day out at St Davids cathedral, well worth a visit if youve never been, and we drove to Solva for food one evening, but I cant remember the name of the pub :( It was down by the water though- might have been The Harbour, or something similar?
Had a drive to Fishguard, though there wasn't much to see there, it was a couple of hours out. The rest of the time we spent on the site. Had it been warmer, id have been happy to spend the WHOLE time on site.
All in all, a beautifully kept little site, with the best facilities we've seen yet, and managers who really do care about the site and their visitors. Well worth a visit, and we will be going back in the future :)

Excellent, clean friendly helpful.
Will return, really enjoyed our stay, we all went for a weekend break, in our motorhomes.
Brian and Barbara put us close to the playground which was great, so we could relax knowing the children were safe.
Not far from white sands beach either.
Great site !
1/2 miles from blue lagoon beach, close was White Sands Beach, and close to St David's.
Nothing was too much trouble for them

We have just come back from this site. What a gem of a campsite this really is. We just want to re-iterate what other reviews have said. Brian and Margaret could not do enough for us and being the only tent in the field for the majority of the six days, we were regularly asked if we were ok. This seclusion actually suited our needs as a couple, we just wanted to get away from it all.
The facilities were immaculate and cleaned every day even though it was just us using them. The nine hole pitch and putt although we weren't expecting St Andrews was fun to play and we had a good laugh making more divets than shots
The local beaches and attractions are some of the best we have seen in Wales especially Whitesands and Caerfai Bay.
We will be definitely returning in the near future and is on our list of sites to regularly use.
Thankyou again we had a wonderful break.

A wonderful site which is excellently looked after by the warden and his wife. Grass such good quality you were quite happy for kids to play bare foot. Will most definitely be returning. The orienteering courses were superb and gave me and my 7 year old some really quality time together. Thanks for the hose to rinse off wet suits. Would it be possible to have a barrel of water to dip into instead maybe? Loved every minute despite bad weather.

A really lovely site, perfect for young children. Our three boys (age 5, 2 and 1) loved the pirate ship playground, golf course and the games field. After a 6 hour car journey it helped to be able to let them play, while we could still see them, and pitch the tent without them getting under our feet. The field is flat and while we generally had good weather the site seemed to stand up well to the last couple of days of rain.
The facilities we exceptionally well kept and Brian and Margaret clearly take pride in the site. The showers were clean and with plenty of hot water and the toilet block and washing up areas very clean.
The site is really well placed for trips to Abereddi beach and surrounding coastline. Margaret and Brian were on hand to offer advice about local places to eat with children, we tried The Ship on their advice and it was very nice and about ten mins away in the car.
We visited other sites last year, and none of them stood up the Tretio - we will most definitely return very soon.

I stayed at Tretio in what seemed the only week of sun this summer with my family and we all agreed what a lovely site this was. The grounds were immaculate with a very even pitch to lay our tent.
The facilities were all spotless and the owners were very helpful in recommending walks and local pubs and restaurants. There is a good size pitch and putt course on site and a sandpit and climbing frame for the kids.
St Davids is a short drive away and is a lovely place to visit and Whitesands beach is also a short drive away and is beautiful.
We really have no criticisms at all and would recommend this site to anyone.

Having just returned from a family & friends camping holiday at Tretio, we will definitely be returning!
The camp site owners were fantastic - friendly, helpful & down to earth. The camp site itself is beautifully situated, relaxing, clean, well maintained, and safe & fun for children (our boys had great fun!).
It's location is perfect - close enough to the many local tourist attractions & beaches to be easily accessible and far enough out to give it the relaxing atmosphere it most definitely has.
Having stayed at other sites in St Davids, this has been by far the best.

Have just returned from a wonderful week’s camping at this gem of a campsite with our young sons (5 and 3 years old) and family friends.
Arriving midafternoon after a long trek from the Midlands, we were welcomed by Brian and Margaret, who were really helpful, friendly and informative about the surrounding area. After being directed to our pitch, we were immediately concerned that our Outwell Hartford XL tent would not fit onto the pitch.
Knowing that our friends (to join us the following day) had exactly the same tent and were camping next to us, we realised that we were not going to fit into our allocated pitches.
Brian and Margaret could not have been more helpful, and immediately re-shuffled their visitors and gave us 3 pitches to share between the 2 families at no extra cost (as we had previously confirmed the size of our tent in emailed correspondence).
We were also slightly concerned about the wind upon arriving, and setting up our tent proved to be a bit more challenging than normal. However, the camping fields are well protected and this was the only day that we really felt a bit exposed to the elements. We had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside from our pitch.
After completing our setup we went exploring the campsite with our boys. The small playground proved very entertaining for the children, and was within listening/viewing distance to keep a beady eye on them. The push-button unisex showers were large (with plenty of hot water and power, we later discovered), and the toilets were immaculately kept.
There was also a large family/disabled bathroom that was put to good use by our family. The laundry had one washing machine and tumble dryer. There was also a fridge and freezer which were free of charge to use. The dishwashing area was well sheltered with enough space to wash and dry.
There was also a dedicated tap for washing down wetsuits/boards etc. Later in the week, my husband and the 5 year old played the 9 hole pitch and putt course attached to the campsite, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Brian and Margaret had also devised an orienteering activity around the campsite, and although we didn’t partake of this activity, we saw a number of families who did.
The campsite itself is about 3 miles outside of St Davids, and less than 2 miles away for the brilliant White Sands Beach, which was great for the children, vast expanse of relatively sheltered sandy beach, rock pools at low tide and big enough surf for littlies and parents to enjoy some body boarding alike.
Other places of interest include: Haverford West (with a massive Morrison’s), Bluestones (great rainy day option), Broad Haven (did a fabulous 4 mile circular walk along the coastal path that even the littlies loved), Porth Clais (great for crabbing) and Solva (The Old Pharmacy restaurant does a mean bouillabaisse).
All in all, our holiday was one of our best yet, and we were sad to say good bye to this fabulous campsite. We’ll be back.

Just spent a couple of days at this wonderful site for the first time. Extremely welcoming, given a guided tour of facilities on arrival by Brian. Shown to pitch which was level, enough room for tent and car.
Water taps available throughout the site.
Facilities include unisex showers each with there own lockable door and a family shower room.
4 double sinks available for washing up with free hot water. Separate room for laundry which included a fridge and freezer for use by all.
Site is 3 miles out of St Davids which is the nearest shops.
Would highly recommend staying here, just got back and already organising going again
