Another great stay at this little gem.
We were put in the adult only field which was opened since we last stayed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope for another visit soon.

A Little Gem
This site is honestly one of the best we have ever stayed on. The site is immaculate, well maintained, friendly and peaceful which all makes for a perfect holiday.
White Wheat is far enough away from all of the hustle and bustle of Porthcawl and yet within a short walking distance of Newton, Nottage and both the Trecco side of Porthcawl and the Pier side (there is also a bus stop right at the end of the short lane which can take you anywhere local or to Bridgend for some shopping)
The owner Alyson is so friendly and unlike a lot of campsites in the area takes pride in the site and the peaceful retreat that it is. She always has a smile and a greeting for you and Meg who helps out is just wonderful.
The Donkeys and Horses in the fields opposite are a lovely addition to the views as well as the odd visiting duck.
As most campers/ motorhomers/caravaners would agree a clean bright toilet area is high on the list of things to look out for when holidaying and this site is definitely at the top of that list. Clean toilets, lovely warm showers and the added little touches of air fresheners, extra loo rolls and bags for the ladies products just top it all off.
I will be a regular visitor to this little Gem of a campsite

Another great little break. Site has opened up another field with 8 EHU pitches, which are adult only. We were sited in here.
Nice and quiet, didn't need anything to level caravan.
As said before an easy walk into town once across the busy A4106. We also caught the bus into town from 200m from access road.
We will definitely use again.

We stayed at White Wheat Caravan Park for 8 days and it was lovely and quiet and easy access.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating as it was a late booking

Great site lovely welcome from the owners Mike and Alyson and some of the regulars who couldn’t do enough for us friendliest site we have ever been on.
Everything is about 20 minutes walk away easy flat and well worth it 3 good pubs starting with the dog friendly Globe. Walk the beaches rest bay is a must then a stroll into Nottage the list goes on. Not to mention Beales chip shop best ever fish and chips
Oh I won’t go on, visit, form your own opinion, you might not agree, good fun this, “the perfect site will never be found if I find it and everyone agrees then the game is over” This is close!

White Wheat Caravan Park is another “little gem” to add to our list of those which make an excellent impression and must be revisited.
This amazing, popular little site is easily accessible and very close to the heart of Porthcawl’s beaches and town. A 30-minute safe, easy, level walk takes you to either; but for those who prefer to drive, there are plenty of places to park.
The proprietor, known as “Ali”, personally supervises and maintains the site and it’s facilities to a high standard. She is regularly seen around the park as she works about it, ensuring it’s smooth running and upkeep. Ali looks after her residents in an easy, friendly manner, whilst not being in any way intrusive; and remains professional at all times.
During these unprecedented times, it was extremely reassuring that all Covid 19 safety rules and precautions were in place and strictly adhered to. My husband and I felt safe and secure, ensuring a wonderful relaxing break!

A quiet site opposite a field where the donkeys from Porthcawl beach live; you will see them trot past in the morning and late afternoon :) The site is level with large pitches with electric hook-up. Water and waste disposal is near to the building where you will find a toilet block with a shower and 2 toilets along with 2 further showers (one male/one female).
Stayed here when visiting family who were staying in Trecco Bay Holiday Park. Easy walk or cycle to the park (less than 10 minutes walk). The site is off Zig Zag Lane (yes it is very bendy) - don't enter the lane just as you enter Porthcawl but take the turn just before you come to Newton ie at the opposite end of the Lane.
The couple who run the site are very welcoming and the site is very secure with either the site managers or another lady Megan on site at all times.
If you go make sure you visit Rest Bay where there is a lovely coastal walk away from and back to Porthcawl. There is also an excellent cafe and toilets there and the beach has a Lifeguard Station; great beach for body boarding.
Would recommend the site - a great find and very different to Trecco Park!
