Lovely quiet site. Beautiful friendly owners.
Lovely for local amenities.
Short distance away, 10 mins walk or as we did 3 minute cycle ride, then your at the beach, lots of things to do and 3 local pubs for your sunday afternoon meal.
Everything you need is there and all other amenities nice and local. We loved it.
We will be back.

What a great find! Just off J37 of the motorway, only 15 units on flat ground, down a pretty and quiet country lane, this site was our perfect cup of tea.
The owners gave us a lovely welcome and showed us the facilities as soon as we arrived.
Facilities are basic but always clean - perfectly adequate for a small site. If you want heated flours and music, pay more for larger sites with numerous rules! Showers are 50p for 5 mins, which is ample.
You can walk directly from the site to Newton village, where there are two great pubs by the village green, and then a little further on to the sea and stunning beaches.
To the right you can walk along the prom. We particularly loved Rest Bay and the coastal walk towards Pink Bay and Kenfig Sands.
We will definitely be back.
Thank you so much Mike and Alyson. Have a good season and enjoy your well earned holiday.

An absolute lovely camp site. READ website instructions on access, don't go down zig zag lane my sat wanted me to go down, but I ignored & drove down dual to a roundabout, then up Zig zag lane from the bottom, narrow but literally camp site 2 mins up the lane.
Alyson ( owner) is as pleasant on the telephone as meeting her, makes you feel so welcome.
So the camp site is small about 20 -30 pitches with EHU, the adjoining paddock is used in the summer for adults only again with EHU. Very reasonably priced. There's a portacabin with 2 mixed showers ( token 50p 5 mins) & 2 other male/ female shower building available, bit dated but kept immaculate cleaned throughout the day.
Site is surrounded by fields with horses & donkeys, that get walked to the beach daily, amusement in itself! Just listen out for the bells!
You can hear the road in the distance which is busy, but you soon forget about the noise other than that It's a tranquil location.
20 min walk to a huge sandy beach where dogs can run free. A few pubs with good food local, also a co-op within walking distance. Ther's a bus stop end of the drive or a 20 min walk to the local town. A brand new Aldi has recently opened at the edge of the town.
All in all good for all ages.
On the website it says open all year, but then says closed Dec & Jan for maintenance.

Lovely site with very friendly owners,
Spotlessly clean & really quiet.
Close enough to Porthcawl for a nice little walk or a cycle ride.
Appropriate name for the lane!

Lovely little site and in a great location for visiting the Porthcawl coast.
Alys was a lovely host, waited for us to arrive and showed us to the spot. Gave a great recommendation for the best fish and chips around too.
The shower is metered but 50p for 5 minutes is not so bad, the shower was lovely and clean as was the toilet and sink in the ladies block.
The site is lovely and quiet, all flat pitches, the only noise is from the donkeys who must live close by.

What an absolute treasure. This site is everything we hoped for and so much more.
Alyson was very welcoming from my initial contact and even before we arrived I felt like we had met and Mike and Lydia are just as helpful and pleasant upon arrival.
Their beautiful site is a credit to this fab family. Nothing is too much trouble and we felt that they go over and above to make sure that all their guests have a perfect stay.
Based in beautiful countryside with the town centre within a 25 minute walk, this is a perfect location.
If you are looking for entertainment, loud music and nightlife don't book here but if you want spacious pitches, countryside, welcoming hosts and a little piece of perfect then this is for you.
We will definitely be back.

A small but a site that is close to Porthcawl.
The site has good facilities and good showers.
There are a few longer term pitches but allows tourers.
Very friendly team on the site
