Basic campsite but well kept.
Quick response to the booking enquiry and when we arrived the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Bit far out of Whitby if you are planning to walk the Cleveland way but we were given good direction by the owner to footpaths into town.

My husband and I stayed here with our dog for 4 nights.
Touring caravan with electric hook up. I had read the reviews and was instantly attracted by the pictures and description of the view from this site and on arrival I was taken aback with just how incredible it actually is in person!
The site is very well kept and in an ideal location-peaceful place to set up base but still close enough to the coastal attractions of Whitby etc.
We were greeted on arrival, shown around the site and able to pick our own pitch.
As long as you have your own showering facilities in your van this site is absolutely perfect, we would highly recommend and will definitely return next time we are in the area.
Thank you for an amazing holiday.

Superb. This is an gorgeous site, fabulous views and quiet, probably due to remote location and no showers.
Owners so helpful and friendly.
I'm sure we will be back.

This site has stunningly beautiful views of Whitby due to its exposed position. We were there in amazing weather but it would be tricky in wind and rain in a tent.
We were the only campers there - everyone else was in a caravan or motorhome - and were made very welcome but it isn't set up for camping really as there are no showers or even private basins for washing.
It was the quietest place I think that I have ever been to.
We had one lovely night watching the stars in the vast expanse of visible dark sky.

Just spent 4 nights at this delightful campsite with spectacular views of Whitby and the sea beyond.
Jane and Willy were very welcoming, taking time to show us around the site and choose our pitch.
Lots of space between each pitch, clean well kept site.
Toilet and washing up sink (under cover) available. All in all an excellent site, easy to get to.
Would highly recommend, and we’ll definitely go back.

What is amazing about the stay at Lound Farm is how laid back and relaxed the hosts are.
Larger organised eg CMC sites are so rules based - which is generally fine- so when you come here you just pick a pitch you fancy and hook up.
I even had to explore to find Willy to ask how we then paid. Overlooking Whitby. It is high up and this quite windy but in good and sunny weather it is magical. Toilets are basic but very clean.
Just turn up and relax! Difficult to find any rules - just be kind and all will be ok.
Will definitely return.
Love their very rare fox-red Labradors as well -5 of them! Jane and Willy thank you very much for your hospitality.
See you sometime soon again! Thanks

Just had a fantastic weekend away at lound house farm caravan park,
The views were stunning looking out over Whitby and beyond,
Host very friendly and informative,
Facilities as described a vey clean quiet and tidy park,
We had a lovely walk to sleights about 2 miles along a quiet country road and also a nice walk to Whitby and back about 8 miles with a stop at the bridge inn pub at ruswarp,
Would defo recommend Thank you
