This little campsite has fast become one of our favourites. Always very friendly and welcoming.
This time the grandchildren were with us along with our youngest daughter. Their biggest disappointment ever was the missing tyre swing that is perched up in the tree branches thanks to covid. A big miss as it is one of the things they love about this park.
There were a few more campers this time but still plenty of space.
Still only toilets and no showers but we like it this way. No complaints from any of us.
Price has gone up this year but then who can blame them after being closed so long. Hope it goes down again.

Lovely rural campsite in a convenient location for Whitby and the North York Moors.
Jane was very accommodating and showed us to a spacious pitch in the corner of the site with great views over Whitby and the coast.
Facilities were basic, as we expected but the toilets were cleaned regularly and were well supplied with handwash, paper towel and cleaning supplies.
The washing up area was spotlessly clean and well supplied with hot water. The site was well maintained, with short grass and mature trees and hedges.

Easy to find especially with the advice that Jane gave to us when we booked. We were allowed to arrive any time after 9am which was very kind, we got there late morning and somehow managed to bag the best pitch.
Had an amazing view of Whitby, the pitches were well spaced out, the neighbouring guests were nice and friendly we aren’t bothered about facilities or being within walking distance of town /pubs/ shops we enjoy the countryside and P&Q not really a site for children but you could always take them to Whitby.
We loved it and Jane was really friendly but she leaves you alone unless you need her. Really lovely owner of site.
Will definitely be returning. Thank you so much.

We arrived in the dark so couldn’t see the view until the morning- we weren’t disappointed! It was beautiful to see the Yorkshire coastline and the infamous Whitby abbey on the cliff top.
It was good having a road round the site to follow and there were several hard standing pitches to choose from with EHU.
The toilet block was clean but watch out for the steam on the way to it!
This site is good for a basic stay, it could be really special if the toilet block was updated with a shower and if there was a washing up area and recycling point. However, we did enjoy our stay.

Great views over Whitby. Very basic site. Only 2 toilets for all, sited in old farm building + many spiders. Only cold water, to 1 basin.
Small outside area under cover for pot washing. No showers.
Some road noise, but other than that, very quiet.
£18 a night. Yes we will come again.

We stayed accompanying family who was travelling in a motorhome,
the friendly owner put us on a pitch next to each other which was great.
The site was lovely, with amazing views.
Short drive into town.
Had a lovely stay & would definitely return.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Lovely site, very peaceful and quiet. Basic facilities, 2 toilets and sink but very clean (well impressed with the quality hand wash provided!).
Absolutely stunning views across the valley to whitby and the coast. Well spaced pitches unlike other 'regimented sites.
Stay was made all the better by uninterrupted sunshine! We will definitely return.
