What is amazing about the stay at Lound Farm is how laid back and relaxed the hosts are.

Larger organised eg CMC sites are so rules based - which is generally fine- so when you come here you just pick a pitch you fancy and hook up.

I even had to explore to find Willy to ask how we then paid. Overlooking Whitby. It is high up and this quite windy but in good and sunny weather it is magical. Toilets are basic but very clean.

Just turn up and relax! Difficult to find any rules - just be kind and all will be ok.

Will definitely return.

Love their very rare fox-red Labradors as well -5 of them! Jane and Willy thank you very much for your hospitality.

See you sometime soon again! Thanks

Just had a fantastic weekend away at lound house farm caravan park,

The views were stunning looking out over Whitby and beyond,

Host very friendly and informative,

Facilities as described a vey clean quiet and tidy park,

We had a lovely walk to sleights about 2 miles along a quiet country road and also a nice walk to Whitby and back about 8 miles with a stop at the bridge inn pub at ruswarp,

Would defo recommend Thank you

Just returned from a relaxing visit to Lound House Farm. This is a lovely (if a little exposed) farm site just outside Whitby.

As explained in other reviews, the site has basic but very acceptable facilities housed in farm buildings.

The owners are delightful people who took the time to recommend a sheltered pitch.

Scenic views over Whitby, spacious pitches,

Clean warm rustic toilets, hot water washing up area, dog friendly and local walks from site.

Short drive to Whitby and North Yorkshire Moors.

Will be back.

We have a Classic VW camper so a a-bit apprehensive at first about booking a site with no shower facilities

However, beautiful views over Whitby and such a clean well managed site

We will be back.

Beautiful location overlooking Whitby. Very nice site - all pitches were well spaced - grass well cut. Nice and quiet.

Facilities were a bit rustic but we knew that when booking. The toilets themselves were very clean and looked like new.

The owner was very welcoming and showed me to a great pitch and explained all I needed to know.

Overall it is a lovely site and would definitely return.

Nice site with Stunning views over Whitby. Plenty of space between pitches and a basic though clean toilet block. No showers.

£22 PN inc hook up which is a bit expensive but possibly not for the area.

Wilsons Arms pub is about a mile walk, (Downhill!), and offers decent grub though not the most inspiring menu.

Owners of site were friendly enough, though didn't see much of them.

Good base for exploring Whitby & Robin Hoods Bay, though didn't use the bikes due to the huge hills.

Lovely site with views over Whitby.

No showers but 2 toilets. Most caravans have their own showers.

Plenty of room between caravans.

Would definitely visit again.
