A wonderful peaceful site in beautiful countryside.
The owners are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The best hosts we have ever come across in many years caravanning.
The pitches are huge, well maintained with small hedges to separate.
The facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. Site is close to lots of things to do, visiting the Normandy Landing beaches, memorials and museums.
Beautiful sandy beaches. Wonderful towns, cities and villages to explore. The site is central to explore all of Normandy.
I cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning.

Stayed here for three nights and it proved an excellent base for touring the battlefields, handy for Bayeux also.
We were only going to stay one night and move on but it such a nice peaceful site and handily located we stayed longer.
There are bats to watch going in and out of the barns and birds galore including the baby owl whilst we were there.
The facilities were also very good and clean.

Fantastic site with good facilities.
Good food and drink available and fresh bread able to be ordered for the morning.
A great base to use for touring the Normandy D Day sites.

We are so pleased to have found this gem of a site which is within easy reach of the ferry port of Ouistreham making for a convenient overnight stop for those travelling further south.
However, the beauty of the surrounding countryside, the magnificent toilet and shower facilities (the best we have ever come across), the large grassy pitches and the welcoming owners make this site worthy of a longer stay.
Given that we were there in late October the site was very quiet and the restaurant / bar was not open but we will be back soon to experience all that this wonderful site has to offer!

We stayed for a week using the site as a base. Good size pitches, quiet and peaceful campsite.
Best showers probably of any campsite anywhere! Good food in the restaurant,
Definitely worth staying here for more than 1 night.

This is a great site with spacious, grassy pitches in mature, landscaped grounds. The shower and toilet facilities are brand new and immaculate. There is a small on-site shop for essentials and Steve does a bread/croissant run each morning so you can order your breakfast.
The on-site bar and restaurant offers a limited (ie, freshly-prepared, home-made food - salads, pizzas and burgers) but excellent range of meals and drinks.
There's loads of room on site to walk dogs or for children to play; there's a games room with pool, table football and table tennis and a small play area for younger children. Steve, Dawn and Andy are friendly, accessible English-speaking hosts who live on site. We loved this site and will definitely return.
This is a good base for visiting the D-Day landing sites and Bayeux. The Cowshed bar and restaurant on site is a must. There are no other establishments withing walking distance, but shops and restaurants within 20-30 mins drive away.

We received a lovely warm welcome from Steve & Dawn who are new owners. The new toilet and shower facilities are excellent, including disabled facilities. Plenty of hot water available all day long no matter how many showers in use. We normally use our own facilities but these were second to none.
Spacious pitch, nice and quiet. Steve and Dawn left you to get on with things but always available for friendly advice and a chat. We're so pleased with the set up we have decided to store our van here for use in the coming season.
We have been caravan club members for 28 years and this is one of the nicest sites we've stayed on. Cannot wait to return.

What a difference with NEW toilets and bar area.
The site changed ownership over the winter with lots of improvements and a new feel to the site.
Despite a late arrival due to ferry delays we had a warm welcome by the new owners.
New toilet block sited inside the old barn, refurbished Snug and reinvented bar with easy access to the snug with your drinks,
New menu which with daily specials which were accompanied by the ubiquitous baguette and butter.
This site is not a roundly site it scenic and quiet but with style of rural France.
We loved this site again and we are planning a longer stay next year as it is not far from the Normandy landing beaches, just over a hour from Le Mont St Michel which is well worth a visit.

Please note this campsite is under new ownership with effect from December 2018. Previous reviews refer to the previous management and facilities.
Since their arrival at the campsite in December 2018, they have not stopped with the updates and new areas.
The first item that was a must was a totally new shower and toilet area. A all new area was chosen for its central location and we wanted to make the showers a talking point and installed rain shower heads with a good generous flow of hot water. It was important that we had a larger family/disabled washroom too
"The Old Bar and Kitchen" was gutted and totally rebuilt then inside the existing buildings. The bar was made to look clean and modern but still in keeping with a Normandie barn feel. The kitchen was doubled in size and all new cooking equipment installed.
The games room totally new refreshed with a Normandie look. Gone has the red parachute material and replaced with white walls and exposed dark wood beams. Now it looks clean and good enough to used by all age groups again. Inside you will find a pool table, dart board, table football, a small lending library of books.
