Our first time in a campervan / camping and our first time here.
Very relaxed and friendly and would definitely come back.
Clean facilities and lovely warm showers,
We would recommend a visit.

Lovely views and great people, however very difficult to book due to lack of response of email and phone response!

Ok site, reasonably priced for one, but not the best.
The tourer field is a strip leading to a barn, bordering a busy road at the top. Watch out for the dog faeces left about the place.
As stated before, the toilets are past the stable yard and are pretty basic. The yard is fine in dry weather but sloppy when wet. The washing up area has to stand in for face/teeth cleaning too.
Easy walking through the paddocks to the town, which is, as always, a pleasant place with real shops, the quay, mini railway to the beach etc.
It is a lovely area with excellent walks too.

The location is very close to Wells, which is great if you want to walk into town. Unfortunately the road is quite noisy. The site has a very relaxed atmosphere, accepts dogs, and is nice for evening BBQ's and fires.
Whilst the washing up area was OK and did have plenty of fairly hot water, unfortunately there was no hot water provision in the the rather basic toilet unit and the shower facilities are very poor.
There is no electric provision, which is not a problem, but at £22per night it is expensive.

I had read the last review with trepidation but our experience was positive on the whole.
The electric didn't trip on us the whole time we were there.
It is a basic site, but I think for the money it is perfectly fine.
The two showers are spartan but there are plenty of hooks for clothes now and there is a small bench across the corner of the room. You walk into a large room and the shower is just in the wall. No curtain etc. No heating either so I reckon it could get cold in there on the concrete floor. The hot water ran out on my husband one time during our stay.
There are only three loos - two ladies one gents. I never had to wait, I think my husband might have used the ladies once - another gent certainly did! It's true that the water to wash your hands is cold - alright in summer but, again, might not be so pleasant in the cooler seasons. There is always plenty of loo roll and soap. Kept clean enough even on the busy weekends.
There washing up hut has one sink and one of those electric water heaters on the wall. So take rubber gloves as the water is too hot at the start but runs out towards the end of a big load of washing up.
However, we didn't need to wash up much as the proximity to Wells is excellent and we were spoilt for choice of dog friendly places to eat. We could easily have eaten out for every meal all stay. We had excellent fish and chips on the harbour wall, good food in the many pubs and even ate in the restaurant on the front with the dogs in tow.
The only down side for us was due to lack of rules. This works fine when people are considerate but we began with a lovely view over fields until a group of two motorhomes and a caravan arrived and arranged themselves into a corale arrangement blocking the view for all of the units behind them. The people next to us went form bird watching to staring at the side of a caravan! I was more amazed at the lack of consideration really!
Both weekends we were there there were large groups. Both were fairly lively but did go quiet by 11.
Overall we liked the site and would go back - maybe avoiding weekends and trying to get a pitch with less chance of view blocking!

Decent enough position to town. That’s where the plus ends. £18 per night which have never paid for a cl. Electric constantly tripping even with minimal electric in use so had use our gas.
The worse thing was the showers, old shed, floor swimming with mud, nowhere to hang clothes, one shower out of use so only one other which I had to wait for.
Worse thing started to have a shower trying to dodge the mud and realised I was covered in white paint, the door had obviously been painted with emulsion and when the previous person showers left the cubicle with wet paint, covered my clothes.
Check your maintenance we stayed 15th jan, no wet paint signs anywhere, couldn’t find anyone to complain to as leaving.

Lovely friendly site with all necessary facilities and impressive views. Very well positioned for just chilling out on the site, walking into town for good shops and restaurants.
Very responsive to my questions before arrival and lovely spacious hook up pitches.

Great site, lovely views over Wells harbour and out to sea, easy access to town, friendly owners, good basic facilities. What more could you want? Second time we have stayed here and will be back.
Being able to stay so close to town to walk in to the shops, pubs and restaurants and coming back to peace and quiet is ideal for us. I guess that when it is busy there will be noise, but most visitors seemed chilled/relaxed.
The CL pitches are spacious and mostly level and look out on the horse paddocks and horsebox section. Toilets and showers are basic, but plenty of hot water in the showers and quite clean, given the amount of muddy boots.

Had a fantastic time at Mill Farm. Just turned up in middle of night and was made very welcome.
Very friendly and clean.
It's a working/horse farm and was nice to see them everyday being cared for.
Family run and was nice that they take there time to help.
Short walk to town, with bad feet we manged to do this every day.
Sat by the quay with crab line and was amazed at how many we caught.
Defo will go again this year.

What can I say apart from absolutely amazing!
A stunning farm to camp on and owner & daughter are lovely! Nothing is too much trouble. Facilities are everything you need, Spotless toilets and showers. I'm a single mum and arrived my 11year old son who has autism. We were made to feel extremely welcome and Tiffany was fantastic with my son. She even asked my son to think of a name for her new Pony which he did so now 'Ash' (the Pony) has his new name :-) What an honour for my son!
Only minutes walking distance from Wells Harbour.
First time we've ever been to Mill Farm and Certainly NOT the last!
Thankyou for a great time. Carolyn & Thomas xxx
