Just got back from my stay here. Staff really friendly and helpful, facilities fine, clean and really well looked after. Though I didn't use the showers as stayed just one night. Not much of a view from the tent area but no massive problem with that. The ground was a bit stony to get pegs in but that probably just the bit where I stayed. Great phone reception. Really close to the town so shops easy to get to. Lovely area I enjoyed my stay here

We arrived here on a hot beautiful day and told to park in a field overlooking Wells - fabulous. But wait - no you are in the wrong place, you must go in the other field where the farm equipment is stored and the view is of a communication mast and tents.
Then there is a long walk to chemical disposal (yes in the other field) Toilets - oh dear. One for men two for ladies. Very crude but at least clean. Two showers for the whole site. Hot water yes changing area poor.
Very much a horsey place.
Having said all this, the place is nice and very convenient for Wells.
Des and his family are really nice and you are left alone to enjoy your holiday.
Des spend some money and update your facilities and it will be great.

Well, what a gem! This is what CLs are all about. Caravan/motorhome pitches are to the rear of a large but not-too-noisy farm. Electricity is provided, and there are basic facilities such as toilets, showers and these are spotlessly clean considering they are in the yard; they are quite some distance from the pitches so not for anyone who has difficulty walking. The grass is kept nice and short and there are taps, disposal points, recycling bins etc for campers to use. BUT the very best thing about this site is the view over Wells, it is amazing. Also you can walk into Wells across the field from the site, approx 1 mile. One of the best CLs we have stayed on. Ring ahead to book as it is obviously very popular and limted to 5(?) pitches. PS dogs are very welcome even though it doesn't say so in the blurb.

This is a great site if you know what you are getting. Cosy site, basic facilities, great views, easy walking access to the town and it's a working farm.
So; expect some noise, stable people around early, wild birds tweeting, cockerels crowing etc. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Showers and toilets are clean, 12 pitches (I think) where most campers have their own facilities so, 2 showers and 3 toilets is plenty.
I use to stay at Pinewoods but now it's too sterile, over governed and expensive.

LOVELY campsite. Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. We spent a week camping and the site was clean and tidy and although the toilets and showers were basic were clean too. Site situated in quiet surroundings with stunning views and in walking distance to town and harbour. Owners friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back!

I have been to Mill Farm 3 times now and never left a review, I recently spent the week there it was an amazing week and the weather was great(Bonus). There were 20 humans 10 horses and 10 dogs in our group. Des was very helpful and we all had a fantastic time. Only down side is there are limited facilities, 1 porter loo, 1 toilet and 1 shower. Not really enough to accommodate a large campsite. Long queues which was very disappointing. Although the rest of the campsite is amazing, Horses love it there and are all so settled and look out over the horizon for hours watching the world go by. Its like a piece of Heaven
10 min walk into Wells, French's chip shop has superb food always a long queue but worth the wait. Also get a nice drink on the Albatros Barge.
Booked up to go again to Mill Farm in 2015. Hopefully will have more toilets and showers, will make the holiday 10/10

Facilities limited to 1 toilet and 1 shower. However, we are able to use the facilities in our motorhome so that was no problem. The situation is perfect. Grass pitches, paddocks and stables available should you want to take the horse. 10 minutes walk at most into Wells, 2 safe and dog friendly walking routes down to the beach and the norfolk coastal path. We absolutely loved this weekend. The dog was able to run around off the lead outside the motorhome, although we did tether her when the farm sheep appeared! The view from the site is amazing. Overall, perfect for dog and or horse lovers who like to walk and are not too fussed about fancy showerblocks. Highly recommended !

Another fab weekend spent with horses and dogs, Owner was his usual very friendly self. Can't wait to return in August;
This campsite, although basic is immaculately clean and tidy, how could you not love it here, so close to the beach and Wells, excellent value.
Weather as usual was hit and miss, but there are lots of shops and pubs a few minutes walk away. Not good for the waistline!

We have been to this site on two occasions, both on the same weekends in 2012 and 2013. We can agree with what has been said - location etc. To balance this we have to say the facilities are very poor. One toilet and one shower - neither of which worked. In fact my wife on Saturday morning had to walk to Wells to use a toilet (pouring with rain)! During our stay no one from the management spoke to us. There was an honesty box for the site fee. We were 'honest' and left our £15 - way over the top - and will not return.

Just got home from a lovely three days with friends, our ponies and my dog. What a fabulous place, owner is so friendly and can't do enough for you. Paddocks lovely and looked over the harbour. Basic facilities, could do with a couple more toilets/showers, but didn't stop us enjoying our time there.
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to Wells and 20 minute off road to the beach.
Everyone we met there was friendly, even dogs!
Will definitely return next year!
