Just got home from a lovely three days with friends, our ponies and my dog. What a fabulous place, owner is so friendly and can't do enough for you. Paddocks lovely and looked over the harbour. Basic facilities, could do with a couple more toilets/showers, but didn't stop us enjoying our time there.
Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to Wells and 20 minute off road to the beach.
Everyone we met there was friendly, even dogs!
Will definitely return next year!

Fabulous situation in a lovely town. Very short walk into Wells with it's restaurants, shops, pubs and usual facilities. The site is level grass with excellent sea views.
The toilets and washrooms are a little disappointing, being just a somewhat bare portacabin but are bearable so don't let this put you off too much.

We have stayed here a couple of times now with friends and family and love it. Unfortunately, it is so popular that you won't get a pitch during peak periods unless you book well in advance! This is not a problem during the winter though when it is such a picturesque and relaxing place to stay with the site being just a couple of small fields overlooking the sea.
The facilities are basic as there is only one toilet and a shack for washing up, with plenty of hot water and rubbish bins available. This is, however, reflected in the price as this site is much cheaper than others in the area and we consider the facilities to be more than adequate for a weekends' camping. The owners are also very friendly and helpful and keen to make your stay a pleasant one.
This is one of our favourite sites as the location is great for beach and inland walks in either direction. It is also just a short walk away from Wells making it very convenient for going out for dinner or a drink in the evening.

I have stayed at this site for the last 5 yrs visiting 2-3 times per year. I now take my horse, dogs and friends and we have a fab time.
The horse accommodation is great, big stables and safe fields. Nice safe 20min hack to the beach (mainly 0ff-road)
The washing facilities are busy but adequate (I have my own so rarely use them).
The owner and all the regular people there are amazingly helpful and so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. I now am friends with local riders so always have a brilliant time regardless of the weather.
Great views out to sea from site and good dog walking area's.

We return to this site year after year during the school holidays (when we can get on as it is very popular)The wardens are very welcoming and the view from the caravan site is stunning. We don't mind the minimal facility's as the van has all the comforts of home.
The site is just a stones throw from Wells-next-the-sea and a pleasant stumble back from the harbour, chip shops and several Pubs.
The beach is just over a mile from the town via a path/cycle way on the sea wall with excellent views all around. If you go by car up the beach road there is a large car park that is often full at the sea end.
Failing that take a trip on the narrow gauge railway that takes you most of the way.

I stayed for five nights and found the campsite and its owners very pleasant. It is basic but functional, everything works well and it is very quiet. One toilet and shower and a small washing up shed were all I needed. At £6 per night it was just the job.
I was birdwatching and surveying historic pubs and I found this location central for both. For birding, Cley, Blakeney, Titchwell, Holme, Pensthorpe and Sculthorpe Moor are all within 12 miles. Barn owls also abound along this coast and one was viewable from the campsite in the Holkham Estate below.
I am a pub drinker rather than eater so my recommendations are based upon the pub being traditional, comfortable and with good real ale. Quality is my requirement. Therefore pubs worthy of a visit are Lord Nelson at Burnham Thorpe, Three Horseshoes at Wareham, King's Arms at Blakeney and Albatross at Wells.
Also in Wells are the smarter Crown, Globe and Bowling Green. Wells is only 10 minutes walk from the campsite - note also the bottled real ale shop on the Fakenham road!

We were attracted by the farm setting and were not disapointed. Much of the site is devoted to caravans, tents are allocated a smaller field to the left as you drive in (under the cell phone mast). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Facilities are fine all immaculately clean with decent hot running water in the showers and washing up area. Yes the showers and toilets are in a portacabin but they are fine and have been well kitted out and are better than many I have used. The shower even has a head on the end of a hose instead of being fixed to the wall. It was £6 per person per night.
Nearby beaches are dog friendly and beautiful. Holkham Hall is well worth a look too. Be aware the driveway is a bit lethal as you exit towards the road, you have two tracks merging into one with no vision. I don't know how the facilities would stand up to a full site as there is only one toilet / sink / shower.
Overall very good, I would definitely go back but would go mid week not in school holiday time.

The site is in a great location, close to wells good views and nice and quiet.
Our problem with the site was with the facilities.
We stayed when the weather was very cold.
Upon arrival we were told the water had been turned off due to freezing but was now back on.
We found the drinking water was on, but the washing up area was off, the shower was not available and worst of all the only toilet had the door tied shut so all were unusable.
We thought the toilet should have been left open with a bucket so at least it could be used and flushed manually using water from the working taps.
The only other problem was the site roads were very slippy due to compacted ice and snow.
We admit most of the time none of the above would be a problem, but the site is open all year so should be able to cope with all weathers.

Our riding club organised a weekend here for our members and their horses / ponies last year and we had such a fantastic time we came back again this year. The hacking was top notch and the views amazing, the accommodation (paddocks) for the horses was brilliant with electric fencing and water provided. The shower and toilet facilities were spot on for us, regardless of the fact we had to walk quite some distance to get to them, however we can't all be pitched 2 yards from them can we?
We suffered the loss of one of the horses on the beach and couldn't have asked anymore from Des and the staff at Mill farm, they were all very kind and more than helpful and we will always be very grateful to them.
We will go back next year and continue to do so.

Lucky us to be here over a lovely hot few days! Lovely friendly people and an idyllic spot, you can see for miles.
Yes, there is only one shower and loo (plus portaloo) but I have been to bigger sites and waited longer for facilities. I felt this was a really relaxed site and my son (aged 3) loved it.
It was not very busy when we went, but I understand that they do deliberately try and keep numbers down due to the shower/loo situation. I also understand that sometimes at peak times there are horsey events here which may make it busier then we experienced.
We loved it and for me it is what camping is all about.
There is plenty to do locally, The Lord Nelson pub at Burnham Thorpe is fab once you find it and very child friendly (bit pricey, but lovely garden and good food). The train from the harbour to the beach is a 3 year olds dream (tip - get there before the train is due and queue, there are not many carriages and it is very popular). Crabbing at Blakeney was brilliant and once you have parked completely free. Wells beach is lovely but this coast does get very windy and it was too windy for my little one this time.
I would like to live here - wish it was my farmhouse! Definitely going back, already checking the diary.
