This campsite is one of the best we have been to. Now if you are looking for entertainment inc a pool, club this is not for you. If you are looking for enjoying the countryside, wildlife, farm life, beaches, amazing fresh food this is for you !
My kids age 6 and 9 loved it as there was actually room to play and kick a ball which can be rare these days when you get crammed into pitches. We had opted for no electric and were told we could pitch where we wanted ( it was not very busy when we arrived). Even when the campsite got busy there was still plenty of space
We did not queue for the showers or washing up and they were all kept clean. My 6 yr old fell in love with Evie the micro pig and spent every moment when we were at the campsite with the pig ! There are alpacas, chickens, lots of pigs, a horse and sheep so the kids love it.
You can purchase eggs and meat from the shop along with many other amazing goods fresh from the farm.
Cheap campsite but you spend all your money in the farm shop. But that is because it is that good ! The people that run the campsite are always about and are very friendly. Beaches are all very close by along the coast from Woolacombe down to Saunton. Nearest supermarkets are in Ilfracombe.
We will definitely be going back to this site.

This is the friendliest campsite I have been to, the owners and staff make you feel very welcome. A lovely site with wild hedgerows and woodland, great for birdsong & twitchers.
Great green meadows for tents, super clean toilet/shower block with fab hot showers with plenty of hot water.
A super farm shop and tea room, their own free range outdoor reared pork sold in the shop (visit the pigs on site as well the pet pig and Llamas) their own daily farm eggs, local veg- makes camping easier, all is needed on site! The best cup of fresh coffee and delicious breakfasts.
A really quiet and peaceful site in a great location: minutes from Woolacombe beach, the really pretty & historical cliff top village Mortehoe which is great for cliff top walks & the best fish & chip shop.
Lee, the exquisite cove village nestled in a lush steep valley leading onto real Pirate rocky coves.
Their farm ginger cat will visit you whislt brushing your teeth or washing dishes and their two funny and super friendly Collie dogs always want to play. A great family campsite!

This is a wonderful site, with a truly memorable farm shop, Matt & Trudy & their son & his partner, are lovely warm people who were kind enough to not only rescue me when I arrived without the electrical hookup I needed, & then to jump start the car when it had drained it's battery. They were also very very kind & polite when allowing me some time to Witter what must have seemed like drivel at them. I am Bipolar & was hypomanic
This wonderful site has a fantastic cat, tiny & uber friendly, a charismatic rescue Pig called Evie & two fab sheepdogs, it is dog friendly, makes a cup of coffee to die for, & don't get me started about the pork they rear to humane welfare standards.
I would recommend this site to anyone, but don't miss the locals secret curry shack, we arrived just after it was closed down for the night, but we enjoyed ourselves so much we are going back down to Lee for a pint & that missed curry at Mortonhoe

Fantastic site, enthusiastic and delightful owners who really care about the experience that everyone has. Big pitches and lots of grass as opposed to being forced onto a carpark style hardstanding just because you're in a campervan!
The cafe was absolutely outstanding, we feasted on scones fresh from the oven scones, clotted cream and homemade jam and on the day we left we had the 'small' breakfast, it nearly beat me!
Perfectly positioned between ilfracombe and woolacombe, but far enough away for peace and quiet, we will definitely be back.
The facilities are compact and basic but more than adequate, the showers were nice and hot, the push button taps in the ladies don't stay on long enough to get both hands under together but that's hardly the end of the world.
There are pigs, I think larma`s or maybe alpacas? And a cute ginger cat that patrols the washing up area. Two farm dogs who are happy to entertain the guests by playing fetch.
Loved it here.

We were met on the Friday night with a smile and showed to our spacious pitch. The site is clean and well kept with a separate dog-on-lead camping field. Toilet/showers are basic but clean and plenty of hot water. They had a hog roast and live band on the Sunday which made a nice change from other sites we've visited. They have fire pits you can hire which I would recommend and plenty of logs available. There is a nice walk (about an hour each way) down through the woods to Lee bay and the Grampus inn pub (good food). Both the beach and pub were dog friendly.
In all, a good site with friendly owners and we will definitely be staying again.

Lee Meadow had a really nice vibe. All the other campers were friendly and considerate when we were there in August and the owners were helpful. There are plenty of showers and loos which are fairly basic, but were always clean and there was lots of hot water. Outside there are four washing up sinks, again all clean and tidy with lots of hot water.
It was useful to be able to hire a picnic bench and fire pit, and the pitches all seemed pretty level. At some campsites it's better not to have hook up as that way you can get away from everyone else - this wasn't the case here, the hook up pitches have just as much space.
We visited Croyde for surfing and bodyboarding and it was nice to get back to the peace and quiet of Lee Meadow afterwards. We also went to the little cove at Lee Bay - great for rocks to climb over and rock pooling. There is a disused railway line very close to the campsite which has been turned in to a bike path and the kids enjoyed a safe bike ride down there one evening.

Recently stayed here for 6 nights. Overall verdict of site is good. The couple running the site are very nice and helped with all requests. The site facilities are quite basic but large shower blocks (clean and plenty of hot water, electric hook ups, fire pits to hire, pub style outdoor wooden tables to hire). You can also buy fresh farm eggs and they do offer an ice pack exchange for a fee. You are a 30 minute walk from Lee bay which is lovely and has a pub (Grampus). Woolacoombe and Mortehoe are a short drive away. We had a mix of weather and the site is well drained. The downside is that it's a working farm and therefore you never really know when the owners are going to be around as there is no permanent manned reception so it's pot luck if they are there or not, they don't have any open hours advertised. It would also be a good idea to have an all day accessible freezer for ice packs. This part of North Devon is a lovely area to camp and Lee Meadow is a good value well maintained site.

We have just returned from another great week at Lee Meadow campsite. We spent a week there at the end of July & loved it so much we went back! We have been to lots of different campsites varying in facilities and price and Lee Meadow is certainly one of the best, the main reasons being:- the owners are extremely friendly & go out of their way to help you & ensure everything is ok; the location is great & convenient to local beaches & great walks; the pitches are spacious and overall it is just a lovely laid back & chilled out site. We will definitely be returning & will recommend to all our camper family & friends.

We visited at the height of summer holidays but it never felt too busy. Plenty of space for the kids. Good facilities. Great showers, couldn't get the boys out after long days surfing!
Owners very helpful and welcoming.
Although price is up there with some of the more pricey sites, we felt it was worth it because you got space, facilities and nice campers.
Would thoroughly recommend and will be back again.

Fantastic site where the hosts were always really pleasant and helpful. Site facilities were really good and there were large areas to play around and nice walks just off the site. Site ideally placed between woolacombe beach and croyde, so it was ideal for surfing and beach walks and also food and clothing shops. With clean toilets and nice showers, it was a great place to come back to after a great day on the beach. All in all, we had a fantastic couple of weeks and we will be coming here again and recommending the site to friends and family.
