 This camp site had only been open 2 weeks when we went which meant the facilities were great - brand new and very clean. There were even flowers in the loos! The owners were lovely and good for a chat and were very accommodating and keen to help. Didn't see any hookups. The site itself was fairly uneven, though there were enough flat patches to pitch easily. They allowed fires if you dug up the turf and replaced it, though that might change. Camping was £10 a night with huge pitches available. Drainage was not great and we had to avoid mud on the walk to the toilets, but it was fine. The field is very big so you could end up a bit of a walk from the toilets. It was great to find this campsite so close to woolacombe but set back from the sea enough to be surrounded by beautiful countryside. Only drawback was that there was only one washing up sink so there was a queue but there was plenty of space for more so I think this might be a work in progress.
Overall, it was a real find with a beautiful setting and very nice owners.

Fantastic HUGE site with big pitches. Not been open long was really quiet when stayed there but the massive field helps this. New toilet block is excellent with hot powerful showers and an ice block exchange facility offered. Campsite is like camping should be. Most pitches are fairly flat with a hedge offering shelter. Plenty of nice pubs around but only a couple walkable down the cycle trail. Woolacombe beach nearby 3 miles of golden sand, SURFING there is a must. Coastal walk around Morthoe and Lee Bay shouldn't be missed either. Owners really friendly and do anything to help.
