My husband and I loved this campsite. It was very well maintained and the loo/shower blocks were faultless!
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
We both highly recommend this campsite.
It may not be high on everyone’s list of priorities but the chips they served on the evening when their pub was open were the best we’ve ever tasted!

This has to be one of the most spotlessly clean campsites we have ever visited. Ground is very well maintained, washing facilities, (which we didn't use) were very very clean.
Site is very quiet in a nice setting, access is easy even for the biggest of units. Pub on site is ok, food looked good, but we did not eat there.
Only one shop in the village, but seemed well stocked. Good location for Harwich, Ipswich, Clacton and Colchester, which was a really nice town!
Cost was £25. 00 per night.

Very clean well kept site. Grass mowed short and bushes trimmed.
I didn't use the toilets or showers. Pub is not open Mondays or Tuesdays and then only from 4pm. No dogs in pub.
Village pub is no longer dog friendly (no children or dogs because of COVID restrictions?!)
Plenty of walks in the area.

Excellent site, spotless and really well kept. Family run and really friendly,
Pub on site serving food Thursday through to Sunday, small menu at the moment because of covid but the food was excellent, hot and freshly cooked.
Will definitely return if we are in the area, good places to visit close by, would definitely recommend the constable area. Thanks for our stay.

A great, tidy site. Well maintained with lovely toilet/shower facilities. Booked at last minute with no problems.
Friendly, welcoming and although no dogs in the pub (although it's more upmarket than just a pub that does food👍), we were all made welcome in the pub garden. Lovely food too.
A quiet village, nice walks around to the estuary and beyond.

Lovely little site. Friendly, helpful, welcoming owners. Clean, tidy and well set out site. Toilets clean. Showers hot.
Pub serves lovely meals though opening hours and menu restricted at the moment because of covid.
Nicely situated for visiting the local area. Reasonably priced. Dogs welcome. Will most definitely return

Site was clean and well kept, looks like the site is trying to bring static caravans on site, gates to stop unwanted vehicles,
Has a nice bar that sells food, only open Friday Saturday and Sunday evening, pleasant host (Richie),
Not very busy for a bank holiday but we had a relaxing stay which was fine

Campsite was nice clean and tidy.
Friendly welcome.
Pub served some basic food due to COVID
But was fine.
We Booked the campsite as it allowed dogs.
Only thing for us was pub had no dogs allowed, Which was a shame.
We would go back there again.

At £25 pn for a couple with electricity, this was a good stop for us on our way to Suffolk and Norfolk.
There is not much in the village or locally - you are a bit isolated unless you are prepared to drive. The Sunday lunch in the pub was really excellent in terms of quality and value.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
