Fab site, Fab owners, so friendly, helpful & informative.
Our pitch was by the lake with a peg for fishing. Hubby doesn’t fish, but was fab to watch the wildlife & see if those fishing & if they could catch anything.
Lovely walk around the lake, which hubby enjoyed, chatting to the fishermen as he went round.
The geese & trains didn’t bother us at all, not a busy railway & quite fun to watch both trains & geese (yes the geese do big poops, but that’s nature, & the owners try & keep the lawns free of it each day).
There are friendly blackbirds that came right up to you & also a couple of military planes flying over was a bonus.
The Bus stop is just outside the site, that takes you into Lincoln. We never went to Louth (next time)
A trip out to Hamswell Antique Centre is a must. But give yourselves a day to get round it all !
We’ll def be returning. Just hope we now haven’t let the cat out the bag about this fab site.
We’re being a bit selfish, but we don’t want it getting to busy that we can’t get booked on a pitch.
Praise goes to the owners who have worked hard to upgrade the site in the 19 months that they have owned it.
Especially as they have had to deal with Covid & closures too.

We spent 3 nights at Langdale Lakes, visiting Lincoln, bus stop outside site took around 35mins and Hemswell Antiques Centre
The site is beautiful and very well kept. We paid a bit extra for a pitch at the side of the lake, we loved the wildlife and walking round the lake such a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The facilities were excellent. Fresh water at the side of the pitch, spotless shower block and Elsan point.
Best of all was the friendly welcome, the owners gave us, including lots of recommendations and useful information. The pub in the village serves very good food recently re-opened and again we felt very welcome.
There is a very nice village nearby Nettleham we didn’t get chance to visit the pubs for a meal but they looked very nice. We will certainly be back.

Had a nice warm welcome from the new owners, nice clean site and facilities lovely dog walks around the lakes,
We had a lakeside pitch nice peaceful site apart from the trains which are right next to the site and the noise level from them is excessive!
Also the pub/carvery which was just up the road is closed and has been for some time.
