The new owners have gone to a lot of work recreating a natural habitat around the site and lakes making a lovely, relaxing and scenic environment and yet it is only a short distance from Lincoln City and the coast.

It is an ideal site for a restful break, strolls and fishing or visiting the many tourist attractions such as Whisby nature park and towns nearby and is dog friendly.

We had a pitch with an undisturbed view onto the lake and the site was kept tidy and clean at all times.

We never had an issue with getting a shower or using the facilities but at busy times this may be an issue as there are only 2 shower & loo cubicles plus an extra loo.

Lovely adults only gem of a site. Clean toilets, showers and washing up facilities. Water & EHU on pitches.

Peaceful, Woodland setting around 2 private (to the site) fishing lakes. Well kept grounds with a B&B. John and Jackie were lovely and very welcoming and helpful.

Information hut with homemade crafts for sale. Ice cream van and fish and chip van calls by during the week

Bus to Lincoln and Skegness stops outside site (busy main road).

Loved our stay here and can’t wait to return. Perfect for a relaxing break.

An excellent site with spotless facilities,

Ideal for fishing or to visit historic Lincoln.

The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

This is a fantastic site that we will definitely be returning to. John and Jacquie couldn't have done enough for us. A great welcome, local maps and offer of takeaway menus even. Showers and facilities are great and modern (and clean), and the site is lovely.

Maybe a dozen or so sited vans in separate areas, but the touring pitches by the lakes are the best, in my opinion.

We used the bus almost directly outside to get to Lincoln, which was a bonus not having to drive / park in the city.

Having a pub only 10-15 minutes walk away is a bonus, and the landlady in the pub was very welcoming too. (They took it over in Sept 20, so that all seems new too).

All in all a great little site we'll be seeing again.

A real gem of a site in a lovely setting.

The owners, John and Jacqui, are so helpful and keen to ensure that a stay on their site is made as pleasant and relaxing as possible, and having taken it over just before the pandemic have plans to make additions to what is already on site including further showers and a small shop/tearoom.

Current facilities are kept spotless and well maintained. Easy access to the city of Lincoln with a regular bus service outside the gate.

The only small downside was that it is close to the railway line though trains are infrequent but the site setting with its lakes and wooded areas certainly make up for this.

Wonderful welcome and service received prior and during our stay at Langdale Lakes. Great clean and COVID-safe facilities provided for our stay.

Booked 2 days fishing in our 4 night stay at a reduced cost as we were staying. We both managed to get new carp PBs so very happy with that. Fish in great condition and lake peaceful and a 2 min walk from our pitch.

Jaqui and John were fab, happy to stop for a chat and give any help we needed and nothing too much trouble.

Caught local bus from just outside site into Lincoln (£4. 10) which took 25mins. Local shop about 1/2hr walk.

Excellent modern Indian restaurant (Mach) in neighboring village but be sure to book.

Great dog walking areas around the lakes.

Would definitely recommend and 100% stay again if we’re in the area.

Spotlessly clean site, nice size pitches,

Night fishing allowed, bait boats too, caught some lovely fish from pitch 9/3/4’s, on willow lake lovely swim, also no. 9 swim is very nice on willow lake, bigger fish in Lilly lake all nice swims too,

Lovely dog walks with benches dotted about and little flower gardens, fruit trees and little painted stones with little sayings on nice to read whilst walking with the dog,

Not far from Lincoln town, and Louth is a lovely quaint little town where they have a farmers market,

Owners of site very nice and helpful,

Would definitely recommend looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous owners and beautiful surroundings at this small adult only site. 2 pretty lakes which are perfect for anglers, wildlife lovers, photographers and artists.

Immaculate toilet /shower/ washing up facilities, plus use of washer and drier.

Dog walk area, plenty of seating around the site and a few little surprises.

Bus stop outside the gates for trips in to historic Lincoln or Horncastle for antiques.

A lovely clean friendly family run site, John and Jacqui so helpful.

A popular fishing site although we don’t fish, it had walks and seats to enjoy the atmosphere of the site.

Clean and newly refurbished toilet block.

Village 10 mins walk with shops and pub.

Bus stop outside site which takes you into the city of Lincoln.

Enjoyed and will definitely book another break there.

Lovely site, the owners and the seasonal pitch holders were very friendly.

The owners are thinking of opening a coffee shop, also selling basic provisions which would be extremely welcome as there are no amenities in the village at all apart from a pub.
