Had a great stopover here on our way back home after 3 weeks touring. A great welcome on a friendly relaxed site with immaculate grounds and beautiful lake.
We took the opportunity to visit Lincoln in our tow car and enjoyed the cathedral, old buildings restaurants and shops.
The Steep Hill is a must. Our first night was very peaceful but the second was spoiled by 2 tents behind us who talked loudly until 2.30am which didn't leave much time for sleep with our early start this morning. The couple on the next pitch were also disturbed by them but assured us it was very unusual as they were regulars there.
Would definitely recommend.

Great site. Very well kept. Very peaceful.
Would go back. Perfect location for Lincoln.
If you want to relax in a peaceful location this is the place for you.
Fishing too but we didn’t fish so can’t comment on stock but saw plenty coming out.

Pleasant enough site, the people very friendly and helpful.
The facilities were pretty basic and no competition to far better ‘Club Site’ ones, which is important in this day and age not only to Campers but also Caravaners / motorhomes.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed and the site just keeps getting better,
The grounds are looking fantastic, all the new work seems to be carried out to a very high standard,
Thank you for a very welcoming relaxing break,
We will definitely be back.

Very good peaceful location, beautiful countryside. Excellent facilities - heated shower /toilet block. John and Kelly can't do enough for you, good for information about the area.
The site is very near the disused railway line to Lincoln one way and to the river Trent the other, so worth a visit for walkers and cyclists.
The Tent viaduct is an excellent example of Victorian engineering.
The village of Harby has the Bottle and Glass pub - outstanding for both beer and food, very welcoming.
Can't wait to return to this site.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location with first class accommodation
Well stocked lake was very enjoyable to fish
Very helpful owners and friendly atmosphere.
It was my birthday and we couldn't have wished for a better relaxing break and close by historical Lincoln for shopping and eating out.

Lovely site, welcoming owners and peace and quiet.
Toilet and showers were spotlessly clean and a sensible system to minimise entry in to these that seemed to work rather well.
Well groomed grassed areas and well kept site.
A mile walk to a lovely friendly pub in the neighbouring village.

Beautifully kept campsite with amazing on site shower, toilet, laundry and pot washing facilities.
Fishing lake for those who like to fish in a tranquil setting.
If you want to visit the nearby historic and up and coming roman city of Lincoln, then you won’t go far wrong in staying on this campsite.
