We stayed here for just the one night after we'd picked up our new motorhome from CamperUK in Lincoln. What a fantastic little site. Immaculate from every angle and John is super friendly.
The village pub is a 20/25 minute walk along the lane.
We'll definitely be back and for longer next time!

Excellent site with excellent staff. The facilities were great and very clean and well maintained, it is clear a lot of work has and does go into achieving the standard it does. The toilets and showers were in good condition, the whole site is well presented and looked after - and all at a very good price.
I would definitely recommend this site.

We stayed for three nights this week at this peaceful, pleasant site. John, Kelly and Holly were very welcoming and obviously work hard to keep up the high standards. The site and facilities were immaculately kept. A decent pub, fairly close by for a drink and food. Well stocked fishing lake and lots of wildlife around. Nice walks and cycle tracks close by. We would most certainly recommend and intend to go again when we can. Thankyou.

Stayed here for 5 weeks whilst we were waiting to move into our new house. A really lovely site, peaceful, well kept and maintained, well positioned to be a short drive into Lincoln but in a secluded, quiet position. Shower blocks were immaculate at all times and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus, especially for long stay visitors. Pitches had electric and water. John and Kelly, the site managers, were delightful, ultra helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time during our stay and highly recommend this super site to anyone wanting peace, quiet and an immaculately kept site.

Stayed at this superb site for 3 nights in October 2016.
The location and site are lovely and beautifully kept by John and Kelly, the site managers. Loved the little path around the fishing lake for a stroll on a morning.
The sizes of the hardstanding pitches are adequate, but a little close to each other and are more suitable for motorhomes as parking for cars can be an issue when the site is busy. That said, John was extremely helpful and accommodating and found a spot for me to park my car.
The shower and toilet block was spotlessly clean and warm, and were clearly cleaned and checked regularly.
The new grass pitches look very spacious and I would be tempted to stay on one of those next time I visit.
I didn't have children with me, but would say one of the grass pitches would be better suited for families as there is more space there, and by the gigantic rally field, for children to play.
Over all this is a lovely site, exceptionally presented and maintained, with friendly, helpful staff on site and at £18 per night with EHU it's good value for money. I will most definitely return.

Check this out. A gem of a site in a quiet rural location on the border of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Great for walking fishing and cycling situated on the national cycle route 64. A warm welcome from the site managers John and Kelly who in the last year have improved the appearance of the site immensely with the introduction of individual grass/electric pitches as well as the hardstanding. The grass is always well maintained like a lawn even the large rally field. The site also has a well kept toilet block with underfloor heating and a well equpped utility room. The site is also open all year round. Camper uk should be proud of this site and also John and Kelly for making everyone feeling welcome throughout their stay

Myself and my sister, plus Domino the dog, spent two very pleasant nights at this site. The booking was very straight forward and we were met by John when we arrived. The site was peaceful and well situated for exploring Lincoln. The facilities were excellent, clean and well maintained. I could not fault the site, my only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a microwave for campers who do not have access to electrical appliances of their own. Both Kelly and John were extremely helpful and informative nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this site.

Absolutely fantastic site, really peaceful. John and Kelly go out of their way to make you feel welcome, the toilet block is really clean and well laid out and the utility room has two sinks and a fridge to use. The lake is well stocked and if you don't fancy fishing you could just sit and watch the fish, they will eat anything and it's funny watching them. Excellent value for money at £34. 50 for 3 nights with electric hook up and extra person. Will definitely go back.

Don't, even for one second be put off by the fact that this site is owned by a motorhome dealership. It's really lovely. The location is beautiful, right out in the open country with an on-site lake full of trout. I believe you can buy a licence to fish, but we found that throwing bread in and watching them swim to the surface was much more entertaining!
Despite its small size (12 pitches) the site has immaculate toilet and shower facilities and each pitch has both electric hook-up and water supply. The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
It's worth pointing out that the lake is not fenced so children would need to be supervised. That's not a criticism, just something that parents should be aware of.
The site's only possible drawback is something that's also one of its main attractions; its relative remoteness. Whilst the nearest pub (the Bottle & Glass in Harby, which serves wonderful - if slightly pricey - food) is just about within walking distance, you'll need a torch. And the phone and internet signal operates at, in the words of the site owner 'Lincolnshire countryside speed'. Which is another way of saying 'it's rubbish'. That's not a problem for a weekend getaway but I wonder if I could live with it for a week or more. That said, I suppose if that's anyone's problem, it's mine and not the site's.
And at £18 for a Saturday night in March? What a bargain.

This is our second stay at this peaceful rural site. The wildlife is great. It's a long time since we have seen hedgehogs that would take dog food from the hand!
It was set up as a motorcaravan proving site by the dealer in Lincoln. As such the hardstandings are rather small for modern caravans (though we have stayed at club sites with a similar problem!). There are works in progress to add larger hookup pitches on grass that will increase its attractiveness.
The wardens (John & Kelly) could not be more welcoming. They are fairly new to the site but seem to be making improvements. The facilities were always clean and were regularly checked by one of them.
We do endorse the criticism that signing could be better but we were fortunate enough to get to it without problems - so now know how. We were warned that the village pub was rather expensive but found plenty of reasonable ones around Lincoln. The phone signal can be erratic which adds to the get away from it all atmosphere. We will be back without any doubt.
