This is a very pleasant sit about 10 miles outside Lincoln. We were greeted and shown to our plot (a good hard standing with a grassy patch).
There is a good system in place for using the toilets /showers with the Covid situation (although there aren't many compared to the number of people staying on the site, so we had to queue to use them on several occasions). There are very good washing up and laundry facilities in a clean building.
The National Cycle route 64 to Lincoln goes straight from the campsite road right into the centre of Lincoln. It is a relatively flat and straight forward route and takes about 40 minutes at normal cycling pace.
The site is well maintained. There is free wifi (rather slow!) and sadly a poor phone signal on both EE and 3.
We would happily stay here again - good value for money and very friendly people!

Lovely site with excellent facilities. We stayed here 2 nights to meet up with friends in Lincoln with our 15 year old grandson.
We enjoyed the lake and woodland walk too.
Would have been nice to fish the lake but unfortunately didn't have a full day to make it worthwhile. Maybe next time

We have spent an amazing week in the Osprey Lodge at Camper Uk site. The lodge is beautiful and modern with a separate bathroom in each bedroom.
The lodge has everything you could need including a drinks fridge, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer dryer. The private hot tub is lovely and the owners check the levels and treatments every morning.
The park itself is very well kept and is a stunning escape away from everything with the lodge looking out over the lake.
This is the best site we have been to and will definitely be returning. You do need a car to go out and about but the remoteness, lack of sound and light pollution are all added bonuses in our book.
Thank you for a fabulous week. The Phillips Family

Lovely campsite. Spotless and tidy. Just back from 2 nights there, so my husband could do a bit of fishing on the lake which is a feature of the park.
John could not have been more helpful. I had told him my husband was going through chemotherapy and that with Covid we needed to distance ourselves due to his low immune system. John picked out a lovely pitch for us so that we could isolate ourselves.
This site is a little gem right on our doorstep. Will definitely be back.

Slightly off Lincolns beaten track, this beautiful, tranquil site is so well run, it's a wonder it has to advertise at all.
Extremely well run by John & Kelly, there are 12 hardstanding pitches, with electric & water, numerous grass pitches with electricity, and a huge rally field, where you are also welcome to pitch if you don't mind being off grid & using the chemical emptying system.
Close to the hardstanding pitches are excellent toilet & shower facilities, along with a washer/dryer room, and a small relaxing games room.
It's open all year round - has a beautiful fishing lake - & is within easy travelling distance of both Newark and Lincoln, so plenty to see & do, & great places to eat.
It takes children, but I never give remarks etc, as we are now well & truly free of ours so child facilities are not tested by us!
10/10 recommended.

We have just had a weeks stay in a log cabin at the side of the fishing lake, and my wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
John and Kelly who run the site are a lovely couple and they made sure our stay was first class.
The fixtures and fittings in the log cabin were very good quality and the beds were very comfortable (Memory Foam).
The kitchen was very well equipped including a quality Rangemaster cooking range, so you can cook just about anything you want too!
The fishing was excellent with my best fish a 12 pound mirror carp! - and they go up to about 20 pounds in weight, (maybe next time!).
We look forward to our next visit in the near future, so thank you John and Kelly for a great relaxing week away from it all.
- Regards - Mike & Sue.

We visited the site for a weekend after reading all of the great reviews and reading the sites website too.
The site is very easy to find and on arrival we were met by a gentleman who showed us the hardstanding pitch that had been allocated to us. We chose hardstanding as the weather wasn’t going to be very good for the weekend.
The first thing which we noted, which contradicted their website, was that the pitch was not fully serviced as described on the website. It is in fact a hardstanding pitch with water supply only, no drain on the pitch for grey waste.
The pitch itself was adequate and level, but, if you are a caravaner and wanted to put up an awning, there would be no where for your car at the side of you.
These pitches are more suited to motorhomes or caravans without awnings, as we were. The grass pitches were better with regards to car, caravan, awning as there is plenty of space. Grass pitches though just have electric.
Their website states that the shower block is generously and luxuriously appointed, whilst I agree it was spotlessly clean, by todays standards I would not say it was generously and luxuriously appointed and in fact is starting to look a little tired. That said, perfectly adequate and plenty of hot water via push button in the shower cubicles.
Gents and Ladies both have two toilets and two shower cubicles. In the hall way, is a mop which they would like you to use to clean the shower after use. This in my opinion is not a good idea as the mop may have been sat in dirty water and you will then be spreading that around when moping. A much better idea would be to have a squeegee blade type mop in each side which would be quicker and more convenient.
There is a great laundry room with washer and dryer and in there you will also find the pot washing sinks and some information on things to do in the local area. There is also a games room which we didn’t go in. At night, when it’s dark, lights will come on automatically when you approach the block.
The site is immaculately kept, the grass nice and short and the site also has a lovely walk around the lake, it is very very quiet and peaceful, you will get a good nights sleep here. Some of the grass and hardstanding pitches face the lake too which is lovely.
I will be back and would highly recommend this site, it is like a little tranquil oasis and not expensive either.
