Lovely pitch, very well kept.
Toilet/shower block, excellent, it is clean and well kept, with very hot showers.
The entertainment is mediocre, not what we were expecting, they rely heavily on re-recorded scripts.
The pool is good, however a 30 minute queue to get in to the pool seemed normal!
Rockley park appear to be a victim of it's own success, it is too popular to cope! Too many people to cope especially at £50 a night for a touring caravan!

We came here in April. First impressions were good, the park was extremely clean, and our pitch was a good size with water, waste and electricity.
The touring area is near the front of the site which meant we didn't have to walk far to the amusements, bar and shop. The touring area was kept really clean, including shower and toilet blocks.
The shower/toilet blocks had security numbers for use by tourers only, which meant other visitors could not use them, good idea. Only gripe with the shower was the lack of water pressure. It was a 'hit and miss' whether anyone could have a shower.
Plenty of things for the children to do including games room; arcade (lots of money needed!); crazy golf; indoor swimming; fencing; football etc.
The restaurant was a bit pricey, and if eating out there was not much choice. The bar area was ok with plenty of space to sit down.
Would have like to have seen a take-away with chips - only a pizza outlet.
Don't walk into Poole, we were told it would take 5 minutes but 30 minutes later we were still walking! There is a bus which only runs Monday to Friday from the park into Poole. Poole is worth a visit even if it is just to envy all the rich people in their yachts!
Also take a trip into Bournemouth (about 20/30 mins) on the bus). There is lots to do there if the children are bored with the site.
Overall I would recommend this site, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would go back again.

We used this site for the first week of the year that the touring pitches were open. The pitch was excellent, they had obviously laid new grass over the winter & being a 'Haven Euro pitch' we were spoilt with hardstanding & our own turret with water, electric & digital tv aerial socket & all for just over £50 for 5 nights plus free evening entertainment & a great indoor swimming pool & clubhouse complex as you would expect from this company.
The site was beautifully kept with loads of ground staff constantly at work and all the facilities were very clean.
Excellent beaches are less than 10 minutes drive to Sandbanks & there is a bus stop on site to Poole town centre every hour.
The only downside was an issue with the facility block water pressure that they were trying to fathom out & I am sure will be sorted for later in the season.
We will definitely be returning in the future and with booking in advance you can get up to 50% discount giving full facilities cheaper than any other campsite I have found. We look forward to visiting again.

Stayed here on an extended deal for a month (good offer not on the website but discovered by phone enquiry)- we used the site for 3 consecutive weekends then a ten night stay over the Bank Holidays and were fortunate to have gorgeous weather throughout.
The touring area is obviously newly renovated - pitches are level and a reasonable but not huge size, and nicely marked out. The grass was newly laid but imagine it would show the usual signs of wear towards the end of the season. The main facilities of the site are close at hand and its all on the flat.
The shower block was clean and not over stretched with queuing during our stay but water pressure is a real problem - very hit and miss - they changed the shower heads while we were there but this hasn't solved the problem - we and others ended up using our own vans facilities.
There does appear to be a problem with security as the van next to us had 2 bicycles stolen as did others one night - the culprits were seen on cctv afterwards but as there is no barrier or security on entry anyone can access the site. There is always security manning the entrance to the entertainment complex and checking passes - why not at the site entrance?
There is no touring warden - outside reception hours your details and welcome packs are left with the security man at the entertainment complex. There were no signs to indicate this so we did find ourselves wandering around a little bemused as we arrived just after reception had closed.
The sporting activities for children are wide and varied - ours had a great time - many are payable but there is a good range of free and tryout sessions if you book ahead. We had no problem accessing the pool and although full it didn't feel overcrowded. The play area is very small and being typical of a big commercial enterprise, is set amongst payable activities.
We didn't really use the clubhouse/bar or watch showbar entertainment so can't comment on these. The small beach just off site is ok for launching water activities but not really for sunbathing/playing - drive to Sandbanks and you won't find better - but get there early for a parking space.
There are lots of nice eateries and good local fish and chip shops nearby in Poole - the on site food facilities are ok and a little overpriced - typical pub grub fayre. There is lots to see and do in the area.
Overall, nice site but wouldn't rush to go back, especially in peak season and definitely not at full price.

Nice new touring pitches & shower block close to entertainment block. Not very well maintained, water didn't drain in showers, so stood in your shower water and floor wasn't cleaned during our stay. Security Lock was broken on ladies shower block door.
People were complaining about theft from awnings, but we didn't have any problems. Shame Haven now charge for some activities such as crazy golf, could cost a family £10 to play.
Could have done with a larger soft play for the over 5's (our toddler was happy enough though). Nice walk down to on site beach which offers water sports etc.

Visited here for the end of October half term and choose this site as it offered what we wanted for teenagers and toddlers. The site is of a euro type pitch with hard concrete for the caravan and enforced grass mating for your awning. This we noted on several pitches to have suffered over the summer season and has left large divets making the mating uneven but not unusable.
Most of the pitches were well spaced allowing room for caravan awning and car. We did have a problem with our allocated pitch due to another van on pitch next door encroaching on to ours and reception did move us when we pointed out our annexe would touch the neighbours van.
The shower block did show signs of end of season neglect and the cleaning wasn't of the standard expected. Bar prices seemed to be average although we didn't see as much evening entertainment as we hoped due to a malfunction in their equipment leaving the room in near darkness and upsetting our toddler.
The soft play was small ! There didn't seem to be anything or anywhere for teenagers to hang about in the evening either. Pool we found to be over chlorinated and the flumes were not working either.
There is a small beach at the end of the site about 10 mins walk and water sports are available there. The site is aimed mainly at their static vans over 1000 vans on site many privately owned.

First tip. Don't follow sat nav once within 3-4 miles. Follow the road signs, if you must follow sat nav you will have to negotiate a very low, narrow bridge.
Security: Site security is low, the touring section is next to reception and the carpark, access is easy and uncontrolled. We were warned that the local youth had a passion for bikes.Keep 'em locked.
Noise: people enjoying themselves is fine, but in 3 nights shouting and bawling at 12:30, 1:30 were the norm, not great.
We have just returned from this site, and have to say,we are more than a tad disappointed. We were on Pitch 19, at the end of the touring 'Cul-de-sac' its very tricky getting the van into the pitch; close proximity of caravans opposite and a fire hydrant next to the hardstanding make for almost impossible manoeuvring/reversing. We had to push the van onto the hard standing.
Another issue is the fire hydrant then forces you to position the van further rearward to gain access to the caravan leg winders. This in itself isn't an issue, aside from the fact that Pitch 18 is 90degrees to the rear of 19 and so the close proximity of 18 and 19 isn't conducive to a comfortable feeling.
Showers were not great either, an initial trickle of hot water soon gave way to a drip drip; you had to be very patient to get lather!
The swimming pool needs an overall, changing rooms are few for such a large site, with 100s of static vans, there just aren't enough. Pool felt dirty to us as well, showers weren't private either.
Staff were very pleasant so no problems in this regard, we left a day early, disappointed and we won't return. In summary a large site, targeted at static owners and those wishing to pay a Kings ransom for exclusivity.!

My husband, 3 year old daughter and I have recently returned from a 10 night stay, I've read some of the other recent reviews and have some comments/contradictions to add!
We had a great time and would probably return, our holiday worked out at £17p/n so good value.
The touring area is in a great position only a few minutes walk from the main facilities, our pitch size was fine although we did notice that pitch sizes tended to vary and some people didn't have a space to put their car, the TV connection was good once we bought a new cable.
We ate in the Mash and Barrel once, it was ok, but we didn't do it again! We enjoyed the Papa John's pizza's. Only the indoor pool was open when we went it wasn't as big as I expected but as the site wasn't too busy this was fine. The beach is only small and is sand/pebbles but there was a good area for crabbing, there are nicer small sandy beaches near the site.
Our big disappointment was the shower block, unlike other people we found that every time we went all of the shower cubicles (2 single, 2 family in each) had puddles of water - mainly in the area where you're supposed to get dry, the floors haven't been done to drain the water away very well and there were no mops to be able to try and get rid of the water ourselves. Yes, the water was lovely and hot for me, but not for our daughter it was much too hot and there were no controls to turn it down, I felt like I was torturing her, and subsequently she didn't get washed as much as she should have done! The site would benefit from a family bathroom.
There does seem to be an issue with theft, so I would just say be vigilant, there are security vans that go around all night, but my husband did have a dirty pair of shoes taken that he'd left overnight outside the awning, not really expensive but it was inconvenient and annoying!(note, you have to go right through a housing estate to get to the site, and there is a car park near the beach which has public access which may be why there is a problem)
We loved the area of Poole and found lots to do, some things I'd recommend;
Farmer Palmer's - this is the best children's farm we're been to so far and has great facilities whatever the weather
Lulworth cove and Durdle door
Yachtsman pub, you'll pass this on your way to the site, it has an outdoor play area and the food was nice
Hamworthy park, again if you follow the signs you'll pass this on the way to the site, it's a nice park with fairly new play equipment for all ages, there's a large paddling pool, cafe, toilets, plenty of grass for ball games and is near a small sandy beach. It also has free parking, one day we parked there and walked into town which took us about 20 minutes to get to the quay.
Sandbanks beach was nice, there was a park nearby and also had a crazy golf, which was the most expensive I saw at £4.50pp, we didn't have a go.
We also got the ferry from Sandbanks and went to Swanage, which is a very nice small victorian town, we should have spent a day there really as it has a nice beach and we could have got the steam train upto Corfe castle, but we only went mid afternoon, we'll remember next time.

Our party, as usual, was made up of me (Dad), the wife; our two boys aged 10 & 7 and our doggie.
Driving to the site with the aid of a Sat-Nav with a van on the back is totally not recommended and you should only follow the well placed and many sign posts for ‘Rockley Park’. There is a low railway bridge that seems to feed the nearby MOD base very close to Haven’s Rockley Park and this bridge will cause high sided or wide vehicles problems.
Upon arrive at Haven’s Rockley Park, the sites signs direct you to the touring area, but once there, you have to then park up and walk back to the main reception, queue up and then check in which causes security issues if you’re alone in the tow-car. At no time during our stay did we ever find the road outside the check-in area clear of Haven vans and this not only causes traffic congestion, but is dangerous as naturally, young kids are around.
During our stay, for an unknown reason, 2 pumps and a incident control lorry of the fire service arrived on the site with lights and sirens on, and the latter had to allow traffic already moving along the now single file road, before moving through itself, and again this was caused by Haven vans being parked right outside reception and thus causing traffic congestion around the entrance / exit roundabout.
Check-in was straight forward and easy and then once we knew our pitch number, we drove round and pitched up on Pitch no.2. Everything was as expected and easy and we were impressed by the touring field as it is all very new, the grass all still very much perfect and no real mud to be spotted anywhere. All the pitches were hard-standing where your caravan goes (car if tenting) and then the grass area for your awning or tow-car has reinforced matting to help protect the area of grass.
Everything on Rockley Park had a real ‘new feeling’ about it. I don’t know how long Haven has owned this site, but Rockley Park was our best Haven experience we have been to a good many of Haven’s Touring Fields.
The touring field’s shower block was always clean, always warm and we never had to queue for anything. We never found the shower block in anything but a clean and welcoming state.
The swimming pool on site has a flume and my kids made daily use of the swimming pool. The evening entertainment was the best my family has yet to experience on a Haven site and although the dance floor area is the smallest I’m sure of most Haven site, the extra seating thus provided was welcomed and the air-con was a welcome addition as it seemed to be kept on all evening.
The night noise level on the touring field was the quietest we have every experienced at a Haven site and the only noise we heard after midnight was when a group of fella’s going back to a static van was a bit lively but there was no misbehaving.
Our only fault with the pitches was that after a bit of rain, but with water tables already high after a week of rain, our awning flooded to an inch deep but this is because tow-cars have been allowed to be parked alongside peoples vans when they have not had an awning up, and as it is a new field, the tow-cars weight have compacted the surrounding area down.
We found the Vodafone mobile phone signal strength to be excellent while the 3G mobile Broadband signal was nearly always good but did drop often some days.

We were at Rockley Park for the first week of the summer holidays.
The touring park facilities are quite good (not up to the standards of the club sites but quite reasonable). Some pitches are better than others (ie More space) but all have access to water, grey waste soakaway, TV hook up and mains hook up.
Each pitch has a concrete hardstanding and reinforced grass which, while understandable, is not the nicest under foot even with decent awning carpet down!
Toilets and showers are modern and reasonably clean. There was plenty of hot water. Only drawback were push button showers but one could live with that. There were no issues with security while we were there and everyone felt safe around the touring park.
The entertainment facilities were typical Haven - nice pool, ok pub (food and drink not the best in the world but adequate), nice play areas and fun entertainment for the children. The Spa was very nice (although I have yet to come across a Spa as good as the one I found at Waterside in Weymouth).
If there is one area the park could improve on it's organisation. We found that our allocated pitch had been taken by someone else (whose own allocated pitch had been occupied by another outfit)! This caused some confusion while the staff reorganised everything.
Also, rules (such as no ball games) were not enforced (or maybe they were just ignored by a minority) and on a number of occasions I had to have a quiet word with children (and even one adult) after a ball had hit my van. I have never had this sort of problem on club sites.
However, in conclusion, the stay was very nice and Poole/Bournemouth have plenty of attractions once you've had enough of the park.
