Just back from a weekend break away - our first time touring! Site was clean and tidy and pitches were of good size (had euro pitch), and were of grass and hardstanding. Grass area was dry, but then it has been hot for over a week! Showers were very clean, however depending on which one you had you got betwen 5 seconds and 45 seconds per 'burst'. Shame outdoor pool wasn't open in the hot weather, apparently they were not prepared in time, but it had been hot for well over a week by then. Overall, good.

Rockley Park is only just outside of Poole, a bus runs from inside the site and we walked into Poole taking us about 40 minutes.
All the pitches are on hard standing with either gravel or grass beside them, when we arrived we got 1 with gravel but got it changed to grass as my wife has walking problems. Some of the lower level pitches appeared very water logged. All the staff were very friendly with the facilities being up to the usual Haven standard.
From here we visited Haynes Motor Museum, Bournemouth, Lulworth Cove (great walks & views) and The Blue Pool.

We decided to check this site out by static ready for next year. It really did have everything you could want for a Family holiday. Shop, Restaurant, take away, Club house, nightly 'Entertainment'. Etc. Although the shop times changed while we were there catching us out one evening. The take away was closed throughout our stay, and the Restaurant closed at what I would call an early time. While there we went down to look at the touring area. This as ha been said was great. Hard standing, water EHU, clean showers and toilets. Grass area next to hard standing for awning/tent. But although the area is big enough for a large family tent, they will only let you put up a small 4 man tent. The actually tent area was closed and had a big gate across it, although it didn't seem to be a place I'd want to put a tent, caught between the railway lineand the bootneck camp.

This is great site to visit , only just outside of Poole. From here we visited Monkey World,Bournemouth,Swanage and other local villages. A bus runs from inside the site during high season. We walked into Poole one evening and it took us 40 minutes.
Very reasonable rates and it includes all entertainment, pools ,resaurant, shop ect . You can for a small fee, play crazy golf and ten pin bowling.
All pitches are fully serviced with water, electricity, waste water and television point. Most are hardstanding with a grass area to the side for awnings. The toilet/shower block was one of the cleanest I have used. A man cleaned it three times a day and checked it almost hourly. We never had any trouble with noise either late night or early morning.
This is a site that caters for all age groups and we will return.

3 nights at rockley park. The pitch we were given was a level hardstanding with a nice amount of grass aswell. The staff were really cheerful and helpful. We found the site as a whole to be very clean and tidy, the entertainment was good, shop was good if a little pricey, the showers and toilets were always clean and tidy. We didn't use the pool but that looked fine too. Overall we had a pleasant time and would go back again.

At can I say; you know what you get with a Haven site, great entertainment and good activities but not the best pitches or cleanest facilities. We stayed here in June this year, and paid the extra to have a euro pitch witch gives you a little extra space and a turret with water, waste and a TV outlet which worked quite well. Our caravan went on a concrete hard standing which made it difficult to peg our porch awning under the caravan. The awning space was practically mud due to it being used day in day out The toilets were just OK, not the cleanest I've been in which is a shame with the amount of money this place makes you’d think they could sort out a cleaner a couple of times a day. We had one bad night with an extremely loud caravan going on all night, but security did come down a few times to have a chat with them, not that they shut up until 5a.M The pool and entertainment were all brilliant, drinks, food, and the shop were all overpriced but you know that before you get there. Not allot in Poole but Bournemouth was a good day out and Monkey world is not bad, about half hour away All in all a good trip, I’d advise to pay a little extra and go for the Euro or premium pitches if booking with haven, also check their late availability website for some cheep deals

Fantastic site. Everything you could hope for. With entertainment for the Elderly couple like ourselves to the young families like our children. Its all there. We had a great time at this site and found it very convenient for visiting all the local attractions. If we wanted to know anything the people at this site were there to tell you. A fantastic holiday

Well priced holiday, with excellent scenery in the heart of Poole Bay. Our caravan was nice, clean and well fitted and the park has many shows to entertain young and old. The staff are helpful although the personal touch is lacking a little due to the busy periods on a large park. On the whole a good place to holiday. I shall be returning soon.

May 2005 Arrived just after May bank holiday and found a space ok to take caravan and awning. Note that some pitches have trees at the side and not able to put your awning up. Generally site ok, only 2 sinks for washing your dishes and you need to take your own plug. Some pitches have water connections if you have the right equipment to connect to (euro pitch). Some pitches can get waterlogged - not nice if you are in a tent. Walked down to local beach, but if you drive down quite expensive to park. Entertainment is what you would expect from Haven and indoor pool was very nice. Only had a couple of meals which were fine. ASDA is only about 5 min drive away. Beach at Sandbanks is superb but quite costly to park. Need to get there really early in peak season.

August 2005 The website for this camp states that it is 5* with 5* shower/toilet block. When we first arrived it was clear from reception / entertainment / swimming pool area that a great deal of investment had been made and that part was lovely. We drove down through all the caravans, which looked nice if quite tightly parked, to the touring area.
If you book an electric hook-up pitch, these are in quite a large part of the park and they did seem to be fairly well drained (it was hammering it down with rain when we arrived). However, the non-hook up pitches, which we'd booked, are very much an afterthought. In fact, I can only describe the field as being like a prisoner of war camp. Tents are pitched between a marine camp (barbed wire fence) and a railway line (barbed wire fence) on the other side of a public footpath which was guarded by a security guard in a caravan who did not challenge anyone that I saw. The toilets were two portaloos (like those roadworkers use in a little hut). They were clean though. The pitches were soaking wet and as they were at the bottom of a very steep hill I couldn't see how they could drain.
I then went to inspect the "5*" shower block. Quite honestly, I wouldn't shower my dog in them. It wasn't just dirt (you'd perhaps expect that given the rain at the time), shower curtains were hanging off very rusty rails, tile grout was brown, toilet seats were broken and there were only two dishwashing sinks for a very large number of occupants.
I was very disappointed in the tourer pitches and definitely felt like an afterthought. We did not actually stay at the site due to the conditions of the facilities and I would recommend if you were thinking of going either to book an electric-hook up pitch or pay for one of their caravans!
