Agree with others, this is now a really good site with brand new facilities and you no longer have a long, uphill walk to the facilities. Will definitely return.

Food, although nothing special, was reasonable value for a 3 course evening meal and the breakfasts weren't bad. Facilities were typically Haven and geared for families.

If you can go during the week, the prices are incredibly low and represent excellent value - I paid £34 for 4 nights on a Euro pitch.

This site is fantastic, well done Haven.

We'd read previous reviews and where a little sceptical about this site but don't be - the touring site is totally brand new and close to all the amenities and entertainment complex.

The shower blocks are brand new - lovely and clean and plenty of hot water.

The evening entertainment is what you'd expect from a Haven site (funstars and R&B club) the Mash & Barrell we didn't rate - the food is very poor and my husbands dinner resembled a kids meal. If you want a nice meal go down the road to the Yachtsmans Pub the food is better quality and you get more for your money.

The new swimming pool and tower flume are brilliant - I cannot praise this site enough.

We will definitely be returning to this site next year 10/10

We have just arrived back from an Easter Weekend trip to Rockley Park. As much as I hate to advertise it - this site is now brilliant! As far as I can make out, the touring pitches have been moved to right up by the facilities, all brand new with all facilities: waste water soakaway, TV aerial and each pitch has the awning area pre covered with breathable mesh!

The pitches are stunning, and the shower block is brand spanking new! I was slightly dubious about this site due to the previous reviews, but I think I can safely say, disregard everything that has been previously written!

The new part to the swimming pool is great fun, and the restaurants appear to be new as well, with great food at very reasonable prices, served by attentive and helpful staff. There are still a couple of little snags that I am sure will be sorted in time, and all the staff we spoke to seemed keen to please and very proud of the new facilities, quite right too! Even though it was Easter Weekend, the site seemed capable of coping with being almost full.

The evening entertainment was very good and well worth a visit if you have younger children. All in all, a perfect place now it has been revitalised, and a perfect location for exploring the countryside close by. 10/10 from us, and we will be going back soon!

Stayed here over b/hol week end and found it a nice site, it was terraced and there was plenty of room between vans the only trouble being that some were sited under trees and hardstanding was not level so take some blocks. Loo's were ok, showers were not you had to keep your hand on the button to have a shower.
Entertainment facilities on site were a bit small for the amount of people using them could not get a seat in the showbar on both nights we went but I hate bingo so will not go early, food in other bar was good we all enjoyed what we had, girls used the pool but it did fill up quickly.
The site is well signposted from poole but the only thing is no gate but plenty of security so much so I could not park near reception for their vans as they took up all the parking, the railway over the back is not a prob and you can walk to the beach from the park.

First thing I think should be mentioned is that 14 bikes have been stolen from this site in as many days. Whilst we were staying here, two were stolen (during daytime) and a couple a few vans down from us woke to find someone in their awning. There were police on site twice in four days, and security guards chasing down someone who had pinched a bike.

The toilet blocks, in particular the showers were dirty (huge hair balls!) and badly in need of de-moulding and sealing.

The touring pitch was good, and a good size, but sadly the only views were of surrounding caravans and electric pylons, and the only sound you woke to were passing trains every 5 minutes.

Our family stayed on the tent field (loosely termed). It was a small patch of land surrounded by 9 foot walls / fences topped with barbed wire!, and the tents were squeezed in, my sister was 2 inches from the next tent! Sadly there were arguments over double bookings, and because the pitch numbering had changed to allow them to put more tents in, this also caused confusion on pitch numbers. They couldn't wait to get home.

That said, this was a typical Haven site, with lots of entertainment for the three children in the rain, so at least they were kept happy. On a positive note, the staff were very helpful and courteous wherever you went on site.

Needless to say, we won't be visiting this site again!

This is a nice site but need some tlc in the loos/showers. The showers are in urgent need of de moulding and resealing. They also run to hot if you're the only one using them, then cold if another shower is used.
The toilets are not kept as clean as other Haven sites I have been on and were only cleaned 5 days a week! then not very well. I would return because of where the park is, but not for the touring loos.

Lovely (tiered) touring campsite on the edge of a massive static caravan site and all that comes with being on a commercial site. Good sized pitches, especially the europitches although the stand with the water and electricity isn't always next to your pitch, we needed to buy a longer hose for the water - £5 from the local ASDA with all connectors. Toilets and showers were always spotlessly clean. Trains do run close by but didn't seem too noisy and after the first night we didn't notice them much at all. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. As it was Easter the site was full, unfortunately we had a family on the bank above us who came back from the clubhouse every night around midnight and continued making noise till 1am. Despite a preferred 11pm quiet time, this isn't 'policed' nor is the one car per pitch. Also a caravan was broken into whilst we were there and a bicycle was stolen from another pitch - the suspicion amongst the campers was there was too easy access from an estate near the campsite. There is no security access or presence and anyone can drive around the whole complex. The indoor pool is only a leisure pool and only available 2 hours in the morning and 4 in the afternoon - the static caravan owners have exclusivity and this isn't clear on the booking literature! A big disappointment for those who like an early morning swim! The entertainment complex is not big enough to cater for busy times, and full of slot machines. The outdoor play areas were adequate for most ages under 12. The shop was well stocked. We had a good value breakfast at the restaurant which didn't seem to be overpriced but we preferred the food choice at the Yachtsman pub down the road, it was excellent. Because of the lack of security I wouldn't go to that campsite again.

This is a awful site for campers, wedged between the 10ft high barbed wire stockade of the MOD on one side and the railway on the other, all topped by the high voltage electricity pylons.

Whilst the portaloos and washroom facilities were kept spotlessly clean this is not a site to visit for scenic views and room to play. Cars are parked in every spare space.

The high capacity might be OK for caravanner's but tents are an afterthought at the very far end of the site, past the open access footpath.

Swimming pools are nice but small and can easily be overcrowded. Handy for the beach.

If you like sitting in your caravan watching TV then I'm sure this site is for you.

We arrived here about 6:00pm on a Saturday night for 2 nights. Not having prebooked we were unsure if we would be able to camp, but the young lady on reception was very helpful and got us a euro pitch right near the toilets and showers. I found the toilets and showers to be of a very high standard and very clean. The pitches were very near to the entertainment, facilities and the on site shop was well stocked. The childrens entertainment was aimed at the younger age group, which we found very good what with having our 2 year old son with us. Another plus was the indoor pool was not heavily chlorinated like you get with so many others (outdoor pool was shut). On a downside I wasnt so keen on the on site restaurant, the first night we had no choice but to eat in there as it was late and the staff were quoting over 1 hour wait for food at 7:00pm at night. Not good when you have a hungry child in tow and when it did turn up, I found it very overpriced for the quality, down to personal preference I guess. We were also very thankful to the other campers who attempted to save our awning when it blew away on the 2nd night. Very kind people thanks again for your help.

Just got back from a weeks break at Rockley Park and loved this site. We had a Euro pitch, loads of room and not too far to the entertainment. We have been to various Haven sites and this one is in our opinion the best one we have been to. The site is clean and really looked after. The entertainment complex isn't as big as some of the other Haven sites, but we preferred this because there were no problems getting a drink / meal or a seat in the entertainment area.
The showers and toilets were clean although some of the locks on the toilet doors didn't work. The outdoor pool was warm the first time we used it but the second time it felt really cold. The kids were a bit disappointed that they couldn't use the slide in the indoor pool because the lifeguards told us it was too busy and the slide could only be used when the pool was quieter.

All in all we had a great week, although the weather was lousy all week we can't wait to go back.
