Great value site. Quiet and relaxed. Pitches were a good size and mostly clean.

The toilets and showers were clean. Only negative was there was only one shower per block.

Great dog walks and very good dog wash facilities.

Close to a great beach (Druidge Bay) and central to many other attractions such as Alnwick castle.

The site has a number of static and seasonal pitches with the touring field in a separate area.

It's in a nice location, approximately 3 miles from the beach at Druridge Bay and the touring pitches are spacious and flat, mainly grass, but some hardstanding.

There is a also a large play area for children.

Unfortunately, from the time we arrived on Sunday, until we left on Thursday, the bins were overflowing and due to the hot weather they smelt awful.

The owners have invested in a new toilet block but there was only one shower in the male and female toilets.

Also, some of the toilet seats were already loose or cracked, the handwash bottles were nearly empty and the waste bins went unemptied for several days.

As requested, I rang the number on the toilet to report the problem and was told they would send someone over.

This seems a strange process when the owners live on site.

I doubt we would stay again.

Functional site which is quite well located for Druridge Bay.

Flat pitches which felt slightly cramped when the campsite was full. Very quiet campsite, even when full.

Although new, the toilet and shower block was very cramped. And at busy times ran out of toilet paper.

Very friendly welcome with lots of information.

Site was a delight with immaculate facilities and a well stocked children’s play area.

Our pitch was signposted with our name and with a welcome on the notice and electric was ready to use.

We highly recommend this site as it is central For lots to do and you won’t be disappointed.

We arrived at Seddons caravan site which was about 10 minutes drive to the beach.

The site itself was well kept with a new shower/toilet block.

The pitches were very spacious and the dog walk area was really handy.

The owners gave us a friendly greeting and showed us to our pitch and gave us information on local area and pubs.

Our only small grumble was the bins were overflowing at times.

Fully recommend the site and we will definitely use it again when travelling to see family.

They are upgrading the site but it still needs work.

Showers and toilets clean and ok.

Pitches are a good size and well maintained.

It is peaceful apart from some trains but we got used to them quickly.

We stayed for 2 nights in our small camper along with our adult children and their partners who were in a tent.

The site was easy to find and not far from the A1.

It's a short drive to the coast at Amble or Warkworth. It's a quiet rural location in woodland which is habitat for red squirrels.

The area of the site we were in is spacious; each unit had plenty of room and the pitches were well-spaced apart. The grass pitches were level. We appreciated the picnic benches placed close by, at which we enjoyed our breakfasts.

The facilities are being refurbished to a very good standard. The dish washing space is awaiting refurbishment hence my rating of 8/10. The site owner was open and honest about this when we arrived.

It didn't affect our weekend break and the dish washing area will be excellent when it's done to the same standard as the toilets and shower.

We enjoyed a great weekend walking the coastal path and would be happy to return to this site.

Lovely site, very peaceful and good facilities

The seasonal pitches looked a bit close together for our liking but as we were only staying for 2 nights we were in the touring field.

Lovely wide pitches and with the new shower and toilet block, the playground, picnic benches and lovely hosts.

It has everything we needed and more.

Briefly disturbed by an inconsiderate neighbour but dealt with swiftly by Seddons which was excellent!

We would highly recommend and definitely return

Quiet site and very helpful owner.

Touring field separate to seasonal/permanent vans.

Large pitch size and level.

Short woodland walk on site ideal for dog owners.

10mins drive to the beach so ideal location.

Just 3 toilets, small hand wash only sinks, 2 showers; not always clean. New wash block being built though.

Overall nice site with basic facilities

Quiet and peaceful that's the best I can say about it.

Very scruffy, a lot of rubbish and junk lying about, needs a lot of TLC and money spent on it, has great potential.

Toilet and shower block dismal, badly in need of renovation! Woodland walks badly overgrown and impassable.

Wouldn't be staying there again.
