The owners of the site are lovely and can’t do enough for you. There was enough space between each pitch for privacy and comfort, not like other sites where we’ve been where you have to line the tow bar up with the number so they can cram you in.

There is no shop or pub/clubhouse which suited us. The toilet/shower block is fine for what we needed and there is work being done around the back of the site to extend/upgrade.

Lovely walks with our dog.

We enjoyed it so much we have joined the list for a seasonal pitch.

Nice Campsite. Very pleasant owner. Needed to stay an extra night. Very obliging.

Well cut grass. Clean toilets.

Lots of wildlife to spot.

Ideal site to visit the Northumberland coast.

August bank holiday, very busy. The position of the hook ups meant there wasn't much distance between the pitches, we couldn't even park next to our van.

No rules about noise levels after 11pm. Given covid, the loo block not cleaned as often as should have been. Too many people put too close together.

Good play park on site.

Convenient for the coast, beautiful long beaches.

Great location for Druridge Bay and Cresswell Beach. We camped and the toilet block we were near was basic with just one shower but all reasonably clean.

The pitch had a picnic table which was great. The owners were helpful and knowledgeable of the local area.

Some of our neighbours were very noisy into the small hours which was a shame.

Great value for money.

Only thing I liked about this site was the space we had. Toilets were in a portacabin, 3 toilets and 1 shower for at least 20 tents/caravans, you had to sit on toilet to close door and never very clean.

Had a noisy generator for the electric hook up which ran out of fuel and had to wait for owners to go and get fuel.

Site owners dog was roaming free and kept going up to campers looking for food.

Stayed here for two nights mid July and we really enjoyed it! Location was a great base for exploring the local area and the coastal route.

The site was quiet and everyone was adhering to the health & safety measures in place.

We were in a tent so used the shower and toilet facilities - these were fine. Nothing fancy but as expected for the price we paid and couldn't really complain for a 2night stay.

We walked to the nearby pub for an evening mean which was great - around 1. 5-2mile walk down a straight road.

Overall, we really enjoyed it and would stay again/ recommend to friends.

Owners were also really friendly when arrived and were approachable if we were to have any questions.

Very quiet site, nice owner and lovely surroundings.

We left after 1 night as the shower block/toilets are like a porter cabin, 1 shower that was blocked and no where to put clothes whilst the floor was getting soaked.

We travel with dogs (3 when we visited) and came with friends with another 5. This is a great campsite if you also have them.

The Owners are very accommodating and friendly. They have just taken over the site so things are still in flux.

However they are putting a huge amount 9f effort into upgrading the facilities and amenities. It's a very quiet site (Which we loved)

We were visited by a very friendly Robin. There's plenty of forest and surrounding countryside to explore, either on foot or bike.

The site has clean toilet blocks with warm showers. Basic but if you are looking for all singing and dancing 5 star luxury this site may not be for you. For us it was perfect.

There's hook up (payable extra up front but any left over is refunded. Elsan and grey water disposal is very good. There's a children's play area as well as picnic benches.

Nearest Co-ops (there's 2) are 10 mins drive away. 5 mins drive to nearest pub (fantastic food).

All in all we had a lovely stay with no problems or concerns and would recommend the site highly if you just want a quiet, basic campsite.

Cresswell beach is 10 mins drive away (free car park) with the amazing Drift cafe nearby. Scrummy home made food

The campsite itself is lovely. Clean and tidy and a excellent okay park for the children with football goals which my son and nephew loved. Not too far to shops and pubs and close by for many local areas to visit.

Lovely welcome and the owner came back round on the Sunday to check all was ok.

My only downside would be the toilet facilities. Porta cabin not ideal but I could deal with it as was lovely and close to tents. The shower was lovely and warm but was soaking around the floor.

All it would need is a few hooks in the shower room to hang things up and a mop and bucket do campers could mop after each use.

The site is in a great location very close to the beautiful Northumbrian coast. Set in woodland clearing it really is a natural oasis.

The owners are very pleasant too.

The sanitary arrangements are really in need of an upgrade which to be fair we were told was in progress though extra cleaning wouldn't go a miss either, however it is a place we would return to as its a great base to visit from.

Prepaid electric was offered but I find that odd, so declined.
