Excellent field for tents, well away from the busy caravan section.
Adjacent to fields.
Lots of owls, peaceful.
Owner helpful and friendly. No problem charging ebike.

Third time of staying at this lovely location. Each year, the facilities improve. Now a smart field with mown bays and plenty of hookups.
A shower/toilet unit now has a dog washing area and sinks for washing dishes. More dog walking areas in the woods too.
I can't wait to visit next September to see the next load of improvements.
And you can't ask for more friendly site owners.

Great site with friendly and helpful owner.
Good, well maintained facilities and plenty of space.
Reasonably priced for what I'd provided.
Just be aware before you walk to pub, it not open on Monday :-)

Our 3rd year here, and during lockdown, progress on the site hasn't stopped. More marked pitches on the field, extra hookup boxes installed (not connected yet due to the power company postponing at the last minute)
New wood covered entrances to the field toilet and shower block (there is a brick built one on the main site)
There's a new well mown path around a wild flower meadow (great for dog walks). Owners very friendly and helpful. , (Note if you are planning to pay when you arrive they only take cash).
Cresswell and Duridge Bay and beaches are just a 10 min drive away. Free car parks and very clean and empty beaches. (Visit Drift Cafe for a superb cafe)
Nearest pub is Widdrington Arms (about 5 mins drive) which does food (Booking recommend) Amble is the nearest biggish town with fantastic beaches to the south. (Hauxley)
There's a reasonably sized Morrisons with Fuel Station in Amble.
We'll be back

Friendly owner on arrival, well laid out site, camping field near to a toilet block with shower that was clean.
Pitches well maintained.
Nice quiet location, easy to get to nearby Morpeth and surrounding areas.
Although we are neither children or were staying with children, there is a large secure play area.

Has been a fantastic site. Will be a fantastic site but having lots of work in progress while we were there. Heavy plant works for new electronic supply. Owners apologized at the end of our stay. Lovely area close to fantastic beaches and lots of walking ( very dog friendly).
The shower block we used was cleaned twice a day. But the sinks could do with re-sealing, showers very clean and lots of hot water, take extra loo roll as later in the day you might need it. ( In the ladies) apparently the gents were fab!
Very friendly owners. Big play area for kids and large touring field.
We were put in with seasonal pitches, everyone very friendly.

The pitch was larger than we usually get and very clean and quiet.
The owners were attentive and always available to sort out any problems, not that we had any.
We will definitely stay on the site again.

Beautiful friendly campsite with good facilities.
The owner came to see if I'd settled in and that was a lovely touch.
It's great access to the A1 and the coastal route.
I would definitely stay again.
