We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this camp site and can thoroughly recommend it to everyone. The actual site is spacious and well laid out and in a very good position for travelling to the North and South coasts, Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, and almost anywhere in Cornwall except the furthest West.
Each pitch was large and well marked out and FLAT.
The toilets were very user friendly although I would personally have liked another cubicle or two, but they were cleaned several times a day and a joy to use.
There was a good playground and a large spacious grass area for children to play ball games, etc. There was a good washing and drying room and rotaries to hang your washing out to dry if you so wish. There was also a games room for when it is wet.
The dog walking area was a huge field away from the pitches, and the shop held a good stock of necessary items and you can order your freshly baked bread/croissants for breakfast the next morning.
The family and staff were very friendly and helpful.

One of our favourite sites in the SW and great value for money. Great location for touring Cornwall only 5mins from A30. Quiet site with a great pub in St Mabyn village that does cracking food.
Bodmin has 3 supermarkets within 10mins drive. Site is very well kept, large pitches and the shower blocks are super clean with powerful showers that aren’t too hot.
Lovely secluded pool area and great play areas for the kids. Penny and her team are wonderfully friendly and there are sensible rules that are politely enforced for the comfort of everyone.
Penny bakes the most delicious fresh croissants and pasties but best to order the day before. We made some good friends here and can’t wait to go back!

Great Site. Good atmosphere and friendly staff and campers. Large Pitches. Quiet. Huge dog exercise area. Cute goats and funny ducks. Games room a bit tired and couldn't get television to work. No one around to ask. Nice large TV though.Toilet block was clean. Good hot showers. Electric hook ups were close to each pitch. Pencarrow Gardens 5 minute drive away and worth a visit at this time of year. Very dog friendly place.

This site is down a long narrow lane off the motorway easy to find by sat nave,
Well what a lovely site, that was the first thing we said on entering the site after travelling 7 hours,we arrived at reception to be welcomed by penny one of the owners she's booked us in and told us all the details of the site ie: shop, pool and games room opening times.
Then we where taken to our 2 hookup pitches and shown where the shower / toilets blocks where.
We where allocated pitches opposite each other but wanted to have both together so off my sister went to see if we could change them, 5 mins later we had our pitches together (penny said not a problem ).
our tents where in a mix field of touring and seasonal caravans the site was clean tidy and pitches are large and well spaced out having put up our tents up we decided to explore the park,
1st the ladies shower / toilets, 8 sinks 5 toilets 3 showers and 1 disabled uint shower, toilet and sink with a vanity unit and chair all the showers had large plastic mats that you stood on when getting out of the shower.
The showers where spotlessly clean and the showers had constant hot water any time of the day ( please be careful with children, very hot ) lots of pot washing up spaces ( for the men ) a good laundry and space to hang your washings out to dry if you don't want to use the dryers,
The pool is large and not to deep its well kept with table and chairs all around when not in use the gate is padlocked.
then at the back of the site are 3 pygmy goats lucky, lucy, lulu they love a good scratch, also they have chickens that lay eggs and are sold on site and lots of ducks I was lucky to be there when 5/6 little chicks were hatching so that was a good photo opportunity for me, toddlers and small kids will love this little farm,
In the centre of the site is a large space where your kid s can run around and play games.
The games room is ideal when its raining it as pool /table tennis and games machines at a cost.We visited the only pub in the village and sampled some of the special ales and food is good value for money (20 min walk and 30 mins coming back ) the shop on site sells your essentials ie: bread, milk and sweets, beer it will also order you daily paper and backs fresh bread to order. The nearest supermarket is in Bodmin 8 miles away so stock up.
Don't lug your B B Q with you the site hires out for next to nothing. All in all the site is quite, clean well managed with great friendly staff,we would recommend and visit again. A good place to explore cornwall

One of the best campsites I've stayed in.
Facilities are excellent and the site itself very peaceful and out of the way.
Large ASDA only a few miles away in Bodmin.
Stayed in a static caravan as the weather forecast was poor (and accurate for once)
Tent pitches and facilities for camping also looked very good so will almost certainly visit again with the tent - and update with a review of this trip when it happens.
Small shop on site with some essentials but fresh rolls and baguettes very welcome for brekkies.

We stayed here for the Whitsun week. The site is lovely and peaceful, surrounded by fields so no road noise - apart from the odd tractor!
On arrival we were directed to our pitch which was right next to another family, as it was Bank Holiday week we thought the rest of the row would fill up as the day went on. It didn't so we could have pitched anywhere, but this wasn't offered when we arrived!
However, we did have a lovely stay, the site wasn't overcrowded or noisy. The shop was well stocked and our children loved the play area, games room and swimming pool.
The only negative for us was the toilet block which was a little tired and unlike the other reviews on our visit it wasn't that well cleaned.
Taking everything into account we probably would stay again as we really enjoyed our holiday.

Just returned from a 10 day stay here, excellent site, the shop and games room were exceptional and the outdoor pool was clean and tidy and kept the kids amused for ages despite the very often inclement weather which I gathered was a normal occurrence for this part of Cornwall.
The pitch was flat and level, plenty of space between other guests although it seems that the previous guest enjoyed what appeared to be a four times a day mammoth barbecue for a month judging by the residue left on the ground which didn't smell too sweet when the tent was left zipped up all day, EHU was reliable, and best of all there was very little in the way of road and traffic noise at night which has been a problem at other sites we've stayed at.
The dog walking field was a nice touch although some dog owners it seems abused the privilege by not cleaning up after their pets, all this will achieve is to lose another good camping venue to dog owners so please pick up after your dog!
The toilet and shower block was kept clean and tidy but totally inadequate for the number of guests, the site wasn't particularly busy during our stay but it was not unusual to have to wait to use a toilet or shower, even at 10 o clock at night. Mid afternoon tended to be the quietest time.
Bodmin and Wadebridge are only a short drive away and the roads are very good, plenty of takeaways at either, Padstow and Tintagel are only 30 minutes away and are a nice day out so the site is well placed for day trips and such, the only down side was the weather but you can't blame the site owners for that.
All said, an enjoyable stay. I doubt we would return as we like to try different places every year but I would recommend this site highly to anyone considering staying here.

We have just spent two weeks in August at this site. The site is in a lovely location just the other side of Bodmin and is close to many attractions and some really nice beaches. Glenmorris Park has a very relaxed feel about it, and we were happy to let our children go to the play area and games room on their own. The site also has the added bonus of an outdoor pool. The dog walking area is excellent too and leads to some nice walks over the countryside.
There’s a large central area away from the touring pitches where the shop / reception is, that is ideal for the kids to play, and gives the park a nice relaxed family feel.
You can order newspapers and fresh bread each day from the shop and the staff were always around to help.
The only negative side to the site would be the facilities block, with only four showers and toilets in both the men and women sides, you often had to queue at peak times and if you were not in the shower early the water could be cold. Having said this, they were always kept clean and well stocked. Apparently a new facilities block is planned soon so should ease the problems.
A lovely well laid out site with friendly staff who were always busy keeping the site clean and tidy. Glenmorris Park is ideal for families and we would be happy to recommend this site.

Great location for visiting Padstow and the surrounding area,
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pitch was a reasonable size and was in good condition considering the rain they'd had the week before (drainage was excellent).
Very child friendly site with lots of kids playing games on the green by the reception area. Pirate Castle was good but the adventure play area needs updating. Our 3 year old particularly loved the pets corner with the goats and ducks.
The on site shop was small but adequate (and reasonably priced!).
The only let down really was the toilet block. It's a bit tired looking and only had 4 showers in each toilet and it was hit and miss if you got hot water.
Overall though a really nice, quiet site and we would return again.

We normally have a tradition of only visiting a campsite once but we would definitely camp here again.
Firstly the site. The games room is the best we have seen with arcade games, a pool table, ping pong table and large flatscreen tv with sofas to sit on. The pool is brilliant, warm and clean. The shop, although well stocked was slightly pricey but their service to order pastries was well used.
The toilets and showers were always well cleaned and although basic seemed to handle very well with the number of people at the site.
The site makes a perfect base for visiting the surrounding area with most tourist attractions in the area within ten miles.
We whole heartedly recommend this campsite and will definitely visit again.
