May 2005 This is our second visit to this site. Generally it's a very good site: clean facilities, good size pitches, helpful staff. My only concern is the state of some of the access roads on the site. There are large overhanging bushes on some bends which makes it difficult to navigate some bends without brushing up against them. Of course it was fairly early in the season when we visited and they may well have been sorted by now. Some of the roads on the site are also very rough.

August 2003 We stayed at Glenmorris last year and have booked again this year. Found the site purely by chance as we had left it late and almost everywhere else was fully booked. This is a fairly small site but the pitches are the biggest we have ever stayed on. They are level and the grass is extremely well maintained. We arrived during the heatwave but were told that there had been some appauling weather yet the site, because of the very good drainage, hadn't suffered.
The facilities i.e. toilet/wash rooms - dishwashing and laundry could not be faulted. The reception housed the very small shop which was adequately stocked for essentials. One evening we ran out of milk and the shop was shut but the owner, who lives on site, opened up for us. We have two teenagers and although there is no club house/bar or entertainment they were very happy with the games room and excellent outdoor swimming pool. These again were extremely well maintained.
The owners were always happy to help with anything. We even got a Xmas card from them. A lot of the people we met there were regular visitors and even though it was August there was still plenty of pitches if you didn't mind not having the electric hook-up.
Pricewise we found it very reasonable - this year it is costing just £192.00 for the full 2 weeks. And that includes caravan with awning, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, electric and a pup-tent. They are offering 7 nights for the price of 6.
All in all an excellent choice for anyone wanting a cheap, quiet site with excellent basic facilities plus situated within easy reach of the beaches, countryside and all that Cornwall has to offer.

July 2002 Glenmorris Park is just off the B3266 towards St Mabyn and is well placed for trips to the sea or inland. It is a quiet site, roomy and pleasantly laid out and it looks well kept and clean.
We were towing a 26 foot, twin axle van and found that the turn through the gate into and out of the touring field had to be taken with care. However this should not be a problem for shorter vans. When we arrived, we were greeted in a relaxed, friendly and helpful manner and were allowed to choose a pitch to suit ourselves as they were not over full.
The touring field was level and well mown and the pitch we chose was wide enough to take the van, awning and car without being cramped. The children, aged 6 and 3 years, were able to play around the van without worrying about disturbing the neighbours. The washing facilities were kept clean and tidy and the laundry area was well thought out.
There is a games room for wet days, plus an adventure play area, toddlers climbing frame and outdoor swimming pool. I was pleased to see that the pool area is enclosed. There is a small splash pool for toddlers, with a larger heated pool for swimmers which was 1 metre deep at the shallow end. There was also a nice mix of grass and patio area for sunbathing.
While you can get milk, papers and a few essentials from the office, we went to the out-of-town supermarket on the A39 at Wadebridge for our main shopping. The office does, however have a lot of tourist information which is worth looking at before planning a day out. St Mabyn is within walking distance, though the lane is narrow in places and a bit busy if you have young children in tow. Once there however, the pub does meals and there is a post office/shop, and a playing field with climbing frame and swings etc for the children.
We enjoyed our week here and would use Glenmorris Park again if we holiday in this area.
