Lovely little site. Peaceful with lovely, helpful staff. Clean modern toilets and showers. Small shop which also does takeaways! Lots of walks and trails nearby.
Symonds Yat is a must. Good base for Forest of Dean. Only downside bad WiFi connection but did manage to get some. Not end of world though!
Would recommend and return.

The site was a beautiful, well run and maintained site. It was kept scrupulously clean. The showers and toilets were ample for the size of site - I never had to wait for either. The toilet and shower block was always lovely and warm too, which was a bonus.
The only small criticism I had was it seemed to be popular with small groups, which in itself I don’t mind, but with one group came rather a lot of noise well past the ‘quiet time’.
The walk to St Briavels was lovely and we found the pub with ease. The site was in a great spot with easy access to wherever we chose to visit with very little travelling time.
All in all, a lovely site for a wide range of campers, friendly owners, and very well kept. Would return again.

Found the site very clean and shower block was kept clean and sterilised daily because of the colvid.
The ladies in the shop/reception so helpful.
The only problem was that phone signal very poor in the area. Good use of a tv aerial with £10 deposit.
Will go back again

A nice campsite. Quiet with good facilities including a clean shower block.
The owner was friendly and helpful. Good pub in the village. My son enjoyed the goats.

We had a fabulous stay at Bearse Farm. The family owned site was very well run.
They were extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful & knowledgeable. The facilities were clean & tidy.
The pitches were HUGE! Everything we needed, except the sun! C’est la vie!

Lovely spot surrounded by woodland. Plenty of walks in and around campsite. Goats and Chickens on site. Toilets 5star. Cafe not open due to Covid but campsite does take away breakfast and evening meals.
Did get fully booked on our last night and we were worried that it was going to be noisy throughout the evening but everyone respected the 11pm - 7am quiet time rules.
Deer in the woods on site but sadly we did not see any this time.

Super site, with large, flat pitches. All of the staff very friendly, and informative.
Very good, clean facilities. Nothing to fault.
Just one word of warning, if you decided to walk into St Briavels, as we did, it’s a lovely walk, but the footpath signs at the farm are very misleading.
Just keep on the same bearing.

A lovely small site to which we will return one day. There are a mixture of hardstandings with grass and grass pitches but they are all huge. The facilities block is central to all pitches so not too far to walk. Clean, big showers with a hairdryer available, and washer and dryer too. Under cover washing up.
There is a small shop and cafe on site, although we ran out of time to use the cafe but they offered evening 'takeout' meals on some of the nights. There is a small amount of road noise from the B road but only at certain times of the day- I never mind hearing others going to work when I am on holiday!
The owners are extremely friendly and work very hard to keep the site well maintained.
We used this site as a base to visit sites in the Forest of Dean, such as Symonds Yat, Goodrich castle, Monmouth and Chepstow but also found it fairly easy to get to Cardiff in about an hour, and visited the National Museum of St Fagans and the Royal Mint Experience.
