This site is an example to all camping and caravanning club sites. It is obvious that some cash has been spent having a decent tidy up of roadways etc. The grass and surrounds are top notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The village of Romsey is are short walk away with shops and pubs. There is a small play area for children. Dudley is nearby with enough chain stores to keep the most shopaholic happy.
Cannot fault anything about this site, first class.

Used this site as a very handy one night stop off as it is easy to find, just off the motorway.
Check in was very friendly and offered choice of pitches (but beware some are very sloping).
Facilities were very clean and lots of hot water in the showers and washing up sinks (indoors).
Very relaxed atmosphere, away from main roads and fabulous walks to the Clent Hills with lovely views.
Reception sold basic food items and great information room with leaflets, books etc.
Local shops and pubs approx. 1 mile away.
Would recommend.

Facilities excellent. Very peaceful. Found a large field just up the road for my dogs to go off lead. The warden met us upon arrival and we were shown to our pitch, which I thought was a nice touch. The grass was very well maintained. Toilets and showers were spotless although closed between 11am and 12am for cleaning. Not good when you need to use them. Shop sold all the essentials and even better they had a mini library for anyone that wished to do a spot of reading (although I did not get the chance with 2 lively dogs)

Immaculate CCC site with v friendly/helpful managers. Toilet block very clean and useful inside washing up facilities - plus clothes washing/drying room which we did not use.
Walking up the Clent Hills direct from site was great - amazing views!
No motor-home waste water facility is the only negative for us - but not the end of the world.
There are swings etc for kids, but children is not the focus of this quiet site in a useful position near M5 J4.
Will return!

This is a lovely site, staff are very helpful and smiley, the areas is beautiful, came for one night and ended up staying 5 nights, the local butcher is great and the two local pubs have something for every pocket, the showers and toilets are very clean, not all the pitches are flat, but Ron very kindly helped us find a flat as possible pitch, the ground is naturally not flat but nothing a block under a wheel can't sort out, we were on a grass pitch behind some very well trimmed bushes which was lovely, this site is very well cared for and we will definitely be back, also the wee shop stock all you need until you get to the local Spar.

What a lovely site. We were visiting family in the midlands and we wanted a site near to relatives in Birmingham. This proved to be an ideal location and we weren't disappointed. Clean and tidy with extremely friendly managers. Toilet and shower facilities were excellent. Didn't like the upturned bin for a seat but it worked. Dog friendly site. What more could you ask for. Thanks

We stayed here to visit The Saddlers Ales Brewery in Stourbridge. We arrived mid afternoon and checked in quickly and efficiently by the site wardens, who then led us to our pitch. The pitch sizes were good, we were non electric, and offered us the space to play games, etc.
The facilities are the usual C&CC standard and are shut between 10:30 and midday daily for cleaning etc. You can use the disabled facilities during this time. Showers were warm, washing up water was warm, and facilities generally well stocked up ready for use.
We booked a cab into Stourbridge for the brewery tour and they charged us £10 there, and we paid £15 for the cab back.
Stourbridge is a great town, plenty of pubs, shops, etc. Nearby are local shops for essentials and the local area is great for walking, site seeing, etc.
I would visit this site again if in the area.

Clean and tidy site on the edge of a ridge and furrow ploughed hill. Small fun park but be warned it can't be seen from many pitches. Great access to Birmingham. Staff great. One negative it is crammed on busy weekends, with electric hook up cables all over the place. Also bit on the expensive side. Walk up the Clent Hills lovely as was the National Trust cafe.

Nice location in the Clent Hills. Handy for quite a few attractions such as the Black Country Living Museum.
Lots of pitches although very few are anywhere near level so take plenty of levelling blocks.
Gets busy at weekends with mains cables everywhere and not enough facilities to accommodate everyone when the site is full.
Toilets are clean but unless you like waiting either shower in your van or get up at 5 am to beat the queues.
Not enough rubbish bins which means people leave bags at the side just right for the foxes to rip open at night.
Rabbits on site so watch your step. Quite a few holes waiting to trip you over.
Access lane is a single track road which is badly potholed and in need of re-laying. Half walking pace maximum unless you like broken crocks etc.
Overall the site has the potential to be a gem but requires a lot of work to get it there. Location is great but just about everything else about the place is below par. Prices are very high considering how little is being invested in the place.
Overall we won't return until the place has a facelift.
