Second time visiting this site.
This is a nice flat grassy site, with some hardstanding. Small lake for fishing.
Good shower/toilet block with plenty of hotwater.
Potwash does what it says on the tin.
It's a lovely and quiet site.
Added bonus of Bourton on the water an hour away.
Blenheim is a really great place to visit too.
The warden is really helpful and can't do enough to help you.
Will be using this site again in the future.

This is a lovely campsite in a nice rural area of Oxfordshire. We were certainly able to take advantage of the warm weather this weekend. The owners were kind enough to put us all together and at the end of the field nearer the toilet/ shower block.
The toilets and showers were clean and with plenty of hot water.
A great little site, definitely worth staying at.

This was our first time camping, when booking the owners were extremely helpful. Upon arrival we checked in & were shown our pitch, the scenery was lovely.
There was electric hook up available but we didn, t bother as first timers.
We walked to the local shop which was ok for supplies but we did prefer the local supermarket which you accessed by car.
The toilets & showers were very clean (cleaned twice a day). On our first night a red kite flew overhead which was lovely.
We visited nearby Oxford - enjoyed looking around but car parking was really expensive (£6. 50 for 2 hrs) so would advise anyone who wishes to visit to use the park & ride as it is cheaper & you need more than 2 hrs to have a good look around!
Also visited Bicester outlet village which was great got school shoes cheaper from the clarks shop there.
Really relaxing & loads of room for our 3 kids to run around.
Absolutely loved our first camping trip on this site, it was a good base to visit surrounding areas & not too far from home. Will definitely be returning here in the future

What a lovely campsite. Very quiet and well looked after with reasonably large pitches unlike some sites.
The site is pretty basic which I like, toilets are kept very clean and the owners are very welcoming.
The site is set in what appears to be an old airbase that is now unoccupied. There is a playpark and shop within walking distance and a bus stop close to the site.
The site is within a short driving distance to Oxford, Bicester and the Cotswolds. The nearest supermaket we fould was in Bicester which is about 15min drive away.
The only small gripe I have is the showers, there was no pressure and they kept going hot and cold.

We stayed for two nights on an electric hook up pitch. The electric point was quite a way from our pitch but luckily the lead reached.
The site was very quite and well maintained.
The toilets and showers were clean but there was only two toilets and two showers (ladies) so there was a bit of a wait in the morning.
Only one washing up sink so there was a bit of a wait but at least it was under cover.
The kids enjoyed the walk to the play park near by.
We did not visit the local pubs and spent quite a while driving round looking for a take away - the nearest place is Bicester market place.
Would visit again.

Arrived in a downpour. Set up our 8 berth tent in the first pitch in the bottom field. We were worried before we arrived that the pitch would be too small for our tent because it is about 8.5 metres wide and 5 metres deep. No problem fitting in even with our car by the side.
All the campers we met were good natured and respectful. Some of them left very early in the morning and some came home in the early hours but we never had any problems. Everyone got on.
The toilet and shower facilities are kept very well and the showers have plenty of room (I am not a small person and I had no problems). Even from the bottom field it is only a minute or so to walk to the toilets which is really good for our kids.
The only problems were the slight slope on the field which meant I fell off the airbed. We turned the airbed after the first night so no more problem there.
The other issue is the mozzies. The bottom field has a pond through a gate which means a lot of mozzies. The citronella helped but we couldn't sit outside for a couple of evenings.
These are honestly small issues and I will happily use this campsite again next year (I hope) and will recommend it to friends.
We also had a downpour to contend with whilst packing down the tent to go home.
You can't expect the British summer to be dry eh!
The Wah Hong chinese takeaway in Bicester is outstanding and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
It is only a 10 minutes drive to Bicester Outlet Village as well.
Thank you for making our first camping trip as a family something we want to repeat.

Camped for 1 night and thought the site was peaceful and well run. We walked to the village pub (40 mins) which served fantastic homecooked food. I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who likes peace and quiet and wants clean and well maintained facilities. We booked the site over the phone and the owners sent us the receipt and a leaflet about the area which was a really nice touch. When we arrived the owner also offered the loan of an extension lead so we could use the electricity point for no additional charge.

Great campsite. Stayed here for 1 night. Good mixture of tents and caravans. Owner extremely welcoming and friendly, walked us to our pitch and came back later to make sure that everything was ok.
Lots of pitch space, we have a six man tent and a car and still had loads of room. Very flat and lots of room in the middle of the fields for the kids to play. Toilets and showers really clean, also has a good washing up area and freezer if needed. Would definitely return.

The site was easy to find by satnav. Ideal if you want a base for Oxford or Silverstone, which is only about 20mins drive away.
Plenty of room between units. Wifi available with the standard hour day week charges. We Have Dogs so we like walks close bye.
The Oxford canal is about a 5-10mins drive away with lovely scenery and local walks between villages and pubs of course. The site is well managed and the owners are always on hand to give local knowledge.
The facilities are very clean showers are hot with plenty of room in the cubicles and also large enough for wheel chairs. There is a local basic supermart near bye and about 15mins drive to Bicester, where there is a large supermarket.
Pubs are not in abundance, but the local villages around have pubs that all appear to be dog and children friendly. Most do food but check, they don't serve all day like the big franchises.
Overall this is a quiet and peaceful site Ideal as a base or a stop over for onward journeys to the south coast and beyond.

We booked this site as it claims to have fishing. From this aspect we were very disappointed. The tiny lake is very overgrown and you would need to clear a path through the weeds to stand a chance of glimpsing any fish!
The site itself is peaceful, clean and nicely run. We were lucky enough to have a grass pitch which was reasonably sized. Friendly owners. We were able to use the site as a base to get in some touristy outings in the Oxford area and Bicester village for retail therapy.
The site is situated opposite a disused American Airforce base and next to a mobile home park. There is a local shop about a 5 min walk away and past a children's play area. There are no play facilities for children on the site which did not effect ourselves but something to bear in mind if you do have children.
Would we go back? Maybe, but without a car load of fishing tackle!
