Lovely small site based on a quaint farm. Excellent base to great days out for the children.
Hosts were very friendly and accommodating with allowing the children to play in the adjoining field.
Perfect little areas under trees for extra shelter for tent users.
All the facilities are there for camping and we're spotless. Wildlife galore.
Wonderful visit and we would return.

Small, peaceful. Nice farm setting. Shelter for tents under trees.
Facilities simple but effective.
Close to Chester but definitely feels rural. Cost us £10 in taxi from Centre of Chester

Location is brilliant for the zoo and shops very close by,
Site very basic only one male/female toilet and shower in a run down building but suited what we needed,
Would definitely stay again if we visited the zoo again.

Friendly welcome. Choice of pitch. Lots of cows in next field but not a problem. Facilities very basic.
One ladies toilet and shower and same for gents set in very old building but very clean.
EHU well placed for each pitch. Field a bit lumpy and grass needs a good cut.
Having said all that we enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed and without lots of rules.
Tents campers and motorhomes all in one field which is ideal for family /friends to meet up in different accommodation.

Great campsite with lovely owners, nice and quiet in the evenings in a stunning location.
Cafe served great food and coffee which was convenient.
I could see a new toilet and shower block being built as it was a bit far from some of the pitches.
Overall great campsite.

Lovely quiet small site in an easy location for getting into Chester by bike or car or exploring the countryside.
No frills facilities (shower and toilet) but that was all we needed.

Excellent place, peaceful, safe for children and interesting to watch the working farm operate around you.
Children loved the cows, tractors and the farmers.
Only downside was a bit of dog muck round where we were. But it is the country I suppose! Better if it was cleaned up though.

Absolutely lovely working farm,
I loved it, family loved it but don’t expect anything other than peace, tranquillity, a beautiful view and good people-
Go elsewhere if you want fancy facilities and cheep entertainment

Convenient location as directly on LeJog cycling route.
Basic facilities which served their purpose in a rural setting. No evidence of Covid precautions.
Good value for money but no friendly welcome and the owner decided to cut the grass on arrival. Beautiful cows who were an an automatic morning wake up call.
