I have just returned from a weeks camping at Moreton Farm with a group of friends, there were 35 of us in the party. Although wary of such a large group initially, Wendy welcomed us onto the site without a problem.
The overall look of the campsite is beautiful with almost manicured tent field and static area. The toilets, showers and washing facilities were very clean and maintained that way all through the week.
The staff were very friendly and could not help any more, even booking theme park tickets online (to get a discount) for one of the party.
The local area is very hilly so doesn't suit all people but the views compensate and there is plenty to do and see in the locality.
Saundersfoot is a bustling little seaside town with several pubs and restaurants, Tenby is about 5 minutes drive away and is much busier with all manner of fishing and boat trips available as well as fantastic beaches.
All of the adults and children really enjoyed their stay and time in Saundersfoot and the campsite made it a terrific week in Wales.
Highly recommended campsite.

This site was pleasant and quiet when we visited, there were only a handful of tents. The receptionist was very cheerful and helpful on our arrival.
The camping field was fairly large but there were some quite sloppy areas in the centre of the field. We chose a place at the top of the field which was near to the toilet block.
The showers and toilets were clean but I think it would be inadequate perhaps if the field were full. The token system was ok for the showers except the first 30 - 60 secs of a 3 - 4 min shower was freezing cold.
The site is positioned a good 25mins walk via tracks to saundersfoot where there are lots of nice places to eat and drink, and a 10min walk along a main road to an inn with some games machines and good value meals.

Lovely campsite. Not too big. Very friendly and helpful.Campsite very well kept and toilets and showers kept clean. Great views from pitch. Nice and quiet.
The children loved the freedom as the site was very safe and the playground was well used by them.
Pitch very well placed and plenty of room between them. Location was great and in walking distance of Saundersfoot, about 20 mins. Beautiful beach.
Site close to local attractions and easily accessible. We will definitely be going back next year.

Well what can I say, awesome, awesome, awesome.
We have been back and fall this site all summer long and they have never ever let us down. We have had some good evenings with friends and some good family fun on the site.
The tent pitches are spacious and most are generally of a flat standard. The grass is always in pristine order and the surrounding gardens and fields are tranquil and picturesque.
The staff are very helpful and friendly at all times of the day either early morning or late evening, can not fault them at all!
The shower and toilet blocks are always very clean like the rest of the site. The only bad point I would say is that the showers are over too quickly although it doesn't cost much to have a shower normally 2 tokens are enough and @ 25 pence a token that can not be bad.
There is a small playground on site which is adequate I believe for camping. I feel it adds to the quality of the park as there seem to be no arguments with the children on site and it is like a gathering place for them. The park is within eyesight of most of the pitches for the tent area although a small walk of around 50 metres would be suffice to check on your little loved ones.
The surrounding area, I have been travelling the pembrokeshire coast now for almost 20 years and there is always something to see and explore and always something to do come rain or shine.
I recommend this site 100 percent to anyone friends or family or others. The only problem writing a review like this means that other people will want to go, however the owners deserve for the park to busy!

Lovely views from the top right hand field of the bay of Saundersfoot bay. Walking distance to Saudersfoot village by way of bridleway but take the bus back if you are not fit ! Well maintained site, grass kept short, no dogs, very small playground. The owner was a very nice and approachable, some of the other staff not so. Showers kept very clean had to pay to use them by tokens (you need two for a good shower). Shop was well stocked and you could order daily news papers - Just to sum up nice place to stay but seemed a little bit anti children !

Just back from Moreton Farm after an 11 night stay in mixed weather, and as part of a family with 2 adults and 4 children aged 8 - 15.
We were camped in the hook-up field - pitches were reasonably level, but we did feel a bit squeezed in. There were a couple of nights when snoring from neighbours kept some of us awake.
Despite some persistent and at times heavy rain the site didn't become marshy or muddy.
Shower/toilet facilities were fine and adequate for males - females had to queue at times. No temperature controls on the shower, which were too hot most days. Showers are paid for by token - 25p per token; could just about get through on 1. Washing up water was, in contrast, usually only luke-warm.
Play park is small but well maintained.
The location is very convenient for the Pembrokeshire coast, great if you like firm sand, rock pools, gentle waves and safe water. We enjoyed the holiday despite mixed weather. While I've no specific complaints about the camp-site it wasn't charismatic, and it's unlikely we'd go back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Moreton Farm it's a lovely family site. We have two children aged twelve and nine and they thoroughly enjoyed the freedom and being able to ride their bikes safely around the site.
It was a pleasant 20 minute walk into Saundersfoot, which we did most evenings. On the downside we were told we had to vacate the site at 10.00am or there would be an additional charge, which didn't give us much time to pack everything away and dry the tent.

If you only have time to read a few words of this - it may be helpful to know that we have already booked a return visit!.
This was our first outing in a used tourer which we have just purchased, and the long journey from Devon was well worth it.
Excellent facilities (25p shower tokens available from the shop) play park very good.
We booked this site having found it on this website, and we had telephoned 5 other sites beforehand all of which were fully booked. Whilst we were in the area we drove into a few different campsites, all of which were pretty dire, so we felt rather lucky to have found Moreton Farm.
The site is convenient for Tenby & Saundersfoot ( the latter is walkable apparently ).
We're looking forward to going back soon.

This site is fantastic. Myself and 7 year old arrived Wednesday afternoon to a very well presented park. The Family run aspect really makes it that more special, and they were very helpful in response to my enquiries.
The site wasn't too busy, so we were able to pitch the tent comfortably on the right of the field, which has a slight incline. Plenty of room to play, walk or just sit and take in the outstanding views of the welsh countryside. The site is next to a railway line, but to be honest, you hardly notice it. The children's play area has been updated since recent reviews I have read, as it is a modern park, with many sturdy wooden activities. My 7 year old loved it!
The showers and toilet blocks are well equipped, very clean and tidy. The only down side was that the showers were quite cold. They certainly woke you up of a morning! The shop on site is quite small, and it is not one you can walk around in, you choose your 'essentials' over the counter. Lots of sweets etc for children, probably a bit too many.
Lovely walk down to Saundersfoot beach, realistically it took us 25 minutes, and we are not slow walkers. The beach is clean and does get busy. The harbour is lovely, with a few shops dotted around. For better shopping, Tenby is a must, although be aware it does get very busy, and the streets aren't that wide so be prepared to get bustled about a bit. The weather made our stay an absolute pleasure, but we would definitely return to this site any time.

Just returned from 2 nights here, our very first camping trip (as adults)! So this is our first experience of a campsite so we have nothing to compare this with.
It was in a pleasant location and the walk down to Saundersfoot was lovely (more like 30 mins than the 20 they say)and definitely a bit more on the way back up! We had a nice level pitch and because the field sloped down from us we had no one in front of us so we had lovely countryside views. It would seem though that anyone can pitch anywhere judging by the few people that we saw driving about looking for the best spot (we kept our fingers crossed each time that they wouldn't stop in front of us and were lucky).
We had wanted electric hookup but they had no pitches left, but having seen them now I'm glad we didn't because they seemed quite squeezed in.
Toilet and showers were clean enough and basic, and although there were only 3 for men and 3 for ladies it was never busy. Friendly staff. Had a great time and can breath a sigh of relief that we enjoyed it having bought all the kit.
Next time we will take the kids! Which reminds me, great play area although you can't see it from the tent field. Loads of space for the kids to run around.
