Moreton farm is a nice place and has exceptional toilets, showers and services. This camp site is the best I have visited in my local area.

Not too far away from the town itself and has a lovely park and shop which I have enjoyed myself. I think it could do with a clean more often and the leaving time should not be as early as some people like to enjoy their last day of their holiday.

Apart from all that it is a brilliant family holiday campsite and me and Dad have enjoyed many trips there.

Had excellent Bank Holiday Weekend at Moreton Farm. As well as weather being good, the site was excellent. Very clean site - pitching areas, toilets, showers. Owner was also very courteous and helpful. Useful small, shop for papers etc.

Pitched 5 person tent with car with electric for about £19 a night. Worth the cost.

Nice grounds, there are log cabins and a small number of caravans on site. Plenty of space, quiet in the late evenings.

Yes showers need a 25 p token but at least they were hot and clean. 1 token was enough for a decent shower, I was waiting for the water to stop!

Nice walk down to Saundersfoot from site, about 1.3 miles.

Only fault - dishwashing water too cold. Difficult to get grease of the pan! Otherwise everything else just great. Will definitely return.

Arrived to a very friendly welcome by reception who walked us up to our pitch where they gave us a choice of 3 as we where there before the bank holiday rush. Voiced my concern about how far the electric hook up was but they told me not to worry as if our cable didn't reach then they have extra long cables at reception (£20 refundable deposit needed). We were camped next to the horse field past the log cabins. Lovely sized pitches and ours had a view of saundersfoot bay.

Shop was well stocked and not bad priced (lots of kiddie sweets)they also sell the shower, hair dryer tokens. We used the main shower block next to reception it was kept clean despite the weather we had. Showers don't last that long so would suggest to take two tokens with you.Reception very helpful when asked about where to take kids on rainy days. Kids park did have a few swings, climbing poles and a see saw.

Would visit again as it was a great base for saundersfootand and tenby. Heatherton is a must if you have kids, crazy golf, paintball ect

Very good site, no power sockets in the shower rooms for hairdryers, had to keep putting tokens in. The only bad thing was the seesaw, made from solid metal with no cushioning, when it comes down, boy does it, could cause a real accident

We had to pay for a cub tent even through some of the tents were approx 8 times bigger than ours

Went to this site as it was the only one around the area that had a pitch for the dates I needed and was very surprised at what we found.

The welcome we had was excellent. The pitch was quite dry even though it had been raining very heavy for a few hours before we got there.

The toilet block was very clean and we found they clean them at least twice a day. The only thing about the showers was they are token operated and you have to be quick but for 25 pence a token you cant complain.

The shop is well stocked for the basics. All the staff are very helpful.

will be going back there again that's for sure

We chose this site for it's proximity to Saundersfoot and Tenby, and on arrival it seemed well kept and clean.

Our pitch was well situated, being near to the shower block in the tent field, and close to the water tap. The tent pitches are situated away from the touring pitches and log cabins, and are quite close together, particularly the electric pitches.

As we were setting up, the people next to us had speakers outside their tent, and were playing music fairly loudly, we find this very intrusive, particularly as their tent was only about eight feet from ours, we went to reception to let them know, they seemed fairly disinterested, and certainly not concerned. We asked the family to turn the music down, they were great about it, and we were not disturbed again.

As far as our children (ages 10, 12 and 15) were concerned, the site was great. Plenty of space to play, lots of other children to get to know, a small play area, which was a focal point for their games, they soon had a game of cops and robbers in full swing, with their new friends.

The on site shop was expensive, and very limited, which is what we had expected,as we arrived later than planned due to traffic, it would have been nice to buy something for a simple meal, they didn't even sell pasta! There is a big Co op in Kilgetty, a few minutes drive away, which is reasonable, with plenty of choice.

One thing we didn't expect was for the site to be so windy, fair enough there were a couple of days where the weather was bad, but the tent field is quite exposed, when we went down into Saundersfoot the wind was much less than on the campsite, and even though we were pitched up by the hedge, the wind was atrocious, and our gazebo, which is a heavy duty one, was blown over the hedge, luckily it was not damaged.

The toilet blocks were clean and reasonably equipped, although the sink taps were leaky, so water was always in puddles around the sinks.

Although we knew about the shower token system, we did not expect to only get two or three minutes for our 25p token, you do need two for a decent wash and shampoo. Our daughter put two tokens in that did not work, the reception did replace them without quibble, but personally I would prefer to pay a pound or two extra for the pitch (which was not any cheaper than others which include hot showers in the price) rather than have the hassle of remembering to buy tokens.

This is a good site if the weather is dry. On arrival the ground was water logged and after several more days of rain, it was even worse.

Pitches are spacious and well kept.

However the toilets and washing up facilities are kept clean and modern with plenty of hot water. Shop is small and stocks basics. Staff are very friendly.

Access road is very poor, turning to site is narrow and between house and trees with small narrow road leading to site and reception.

Kids play area is adequate, but again gets water logged in wet weather.

Tenby and Saundersfoot are 5 mins away which offer a great day out.

Arrived at Moreton Farm after inspecting many campsites in the surroundings area to find they all had boggy fields and terrible toilet blocks. On the other hand I was very surprised at the amazingly good condition of the fields. Due to the bad weather cars weren't allowed on the field but they provided a fair sized car park at night.

Staff lovely and very helpful when we arrived. Prices pretty good. Toilet blocks are clean, bins are always empty (I never actually saw anything in the bins during my stay).

One downfall though, tokens for showers cost 25p and only last approx 3 mins. No signs in reception or in the toilet blocks informing holiday makers this. So it's worth getting a pounds worth if your showering and using the electric (it's the same tariff (1 token = 3 mins of electric)).

Campsite surrounded by many lovely towns and villages. Tenby is a short drive away. Stocked with a supermarket and a beach for the family. Saundersfoot is another lovely seaside town with a pier for those fishers out there and yet another beach.

Enjoyed our stay and would visit there again in the near future.

We spent a great week here in May. The electric pitches were fairly level, so it wasn't too bad getting the tent up. Especially for us novices! It was clean, well maintained and a small shop that had everything you'd need including DVD's to rent. Which was handy for the wet weather! There is a nice small park for the kids.
The site was a 5 min drive from Saundersfoot and about 10 to Tenby, where there was a large Somerfield. The shower block was clean, only downside was that you needed tokens (25p) for the shower and they didn't last too long so you'd need 2. Other than that I'd recommend the site.

Stayed on this site during the glorious second week of August !, rain, rain and then some. Anyway here is my review

The site is within very easy reach of all the local attractions, well situated only a short distance off the main road, though the track leading to the camp is very very rough and full of potholes this really does need to be sorted.

On arrival staff were friendly however our reservation was for a hardstanding which was not available and not compensated either !. This site also appears very regimented with do this and dont do that signs pinned at various points.

Due to extremely bad conditions the ground was saturated and vehicles were not allowed on pitch after set up which was a good idea. Unfortunately the site made no provision for walkways and any trip to the showers / car park resulted in sinking mud.

On site there is a small shop which appears reasonably stocked but far from inviting as it was not self service and you could not browse hence I do not know if provisions were plentiful or reasonably priced.

Toilet and shower facilities are available but very very limited (Only 3 showers and toilet cubicles in gents) so be prepared to queue. Showers are token metered at 25 pence and gave more than adequate time to shower but take a second token just in case. The toilet and shower block is very very basic but reasonably clean and everything appeared to work. The touring field is on a slope but if you get the option try and book the field above the chalets as this is by far the best spot.

There are plenty of electrical hookups providing 16amp supply. Water stand pipes are very very limited with extremely poor supply pressure taking around four minutes to fill a 40 litre aqua roll.

There is a children's play area but this consists of one climbing frame, one climbing post and two or three swings. The walk to Saundersfoot is advertised as short and about 20minutes, for Paula Radcliff maybe.

I believe there are plans to build a pool and leisure facility on site in the future, but for the moment the site is very very basic. For those wishing to visit the site take note of my criticism but please also note I actually enjoyed my stay here though would not personally return, please remember the review above is only my view.

Moreton Farm is by no means a leisure park at the moment but is quiet and probably very attractive in the sun. As stated certain areas really do need upgrading, such as water supply, entry road and shop however the site is clean and provides all your basic needs, this is also reflected in the price which for high season was a real bargain.
