We stayed over at Glororum caravan park at the end of May in our small campervan. What a find! The site is so well organised, hard level standing for your van, place for the awning and a lovely grassy area looking out over beautiful hillsides.
Electric hook up and individual water supply made life very easy. Toilet/shower block was immaculate and clearly organised to meet Covid regulations.
Apart from the site being tip-top, it is so well situated: pleasant 20ish minute walk into Bamborough along a country road, so no need to decamp to get there.
Really can't fault this excellent site, the facilities or the lovely staff. 5 stars

Absolutely fantastic.
Great location.
The team were more than helpful and did everything and more to
Make our stay perfect. My wife and I stayed there on our very 1st trip in our new touring caravan.
Everyone. And out to help us set up and made it very easy for us.

This was a deeply disappointing experience. Location was good and our pitch was pleasant enough but it stopped there. I have never seen such a tightly packed site, no nod to C19 at all, it would be bad at the best of times but as we are all supposed to do our bit to open up in June this was the best way to ensure it won’t happen.
It was also an extreme fire hazard if one rig had a fire the whole site would have gone up. The showers and loo blocks were dirty, the san dump and water taps etc felt very unsafe and nobody was wearing a mask in the communal areas.
It was so bad that we walked away from our second night there, we couldn’t bear to return after our day out.
Sorry folks you need to tighten up your operation big time, being pleasant to the punters (which you where) isn’t ennough.

This is a very well maintained site with nice facilities, that were cleaned on a regular basis. The pitches were spacious with electric, water and grey waste disposal on pitch.
Under 4 miles from the A1.
Walk to Bamburgh 35 mins, there is a footpath through grassy fields to save walking down the road as there is no pavement most of the way. We ate in the castle Inn which was very nice.
Bamburgh castle well worth a visit adult £11. 75.
Seahouses adult £3. 80 return on bus.
Plenty of cycling on quiet lanes. We cycled to Holy Island 35 mile round trip also worth a visit.
My only negative of this site is the number key locks on the facilities doors, the last thing you want when its dark is trying to see numbers on a lock. We saw many people having to go back for torches.

Great clean site.
I'd prefer more space between pitches, but I have stayed on sites with hedges between pitches, so maybe I am spoiled.
No down sides to this site.
It is what it says on the tin.
Would happily use again.

Very welcoming staff, absolutely brilliant site with modern facilities.
The toilet and shower block was one of the best we have seen and everywhere was absolutely spotless.
Glororum is approximately one mile from Bamburgh castle and 5 miles from Seahouses.
A fantastic base to visit numerous fantastic beaches, towns, castles, Farne Islands and Holy Island.

We stayed for 1 week at the end of July. All the touring pitches are level and hard standing with a very close water tap/waste drain shared between 2 pitches.
We needed rock pegs for the awning and had to buy some more from 'Go-Outdoors' close by in Berwick.
The site was quiet during the week and slightly busier at the weekend. The toilet block was on the whole very clean and tidy with a warm floor. We used the washing facilities which seemed to be open all the time.
We ate out in Bamburgh at the Lord Crewe htel on our last night and had a very tasty reasonably priced meal.
We visited Berwick town centre, Holy Island for a day; walking and visiting the castle and light house. Alnwick castle and Cragside NT are both full day visits.
We even had a return visit to Alnwick castle at the end of the week as the return trip was free. We also visited the free lifeboat museum in Bamburgh which was definitely worth a visit.
The castle was a half day visit and of course we also spent a day or two on the glorious beaches.

Stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. Lovely site. Great wardens. Facilities immaculate. Will definitely be returning. Bamburgh and seahouses on the door step, making it the perfect get away. 10 out of 10. Loved it.

Stayed here for 7 nights (there was an offer 7 nights for price of 5 so good value).
All touring pitches are hard standing and fully serviced. TV reception good and got 4G with O2 and EE.
Quite a lot of the pitches are seasonal so it was very quiet mid week - got busier at the weekend and the site also has a large static caravan park.
The laundry was exceptionally cheap £2 each for the washer and dryer.
15 min walk into Bamburgh (uphill back). Nice walk to Seahouses and back. The whole area was great with castles everywhere you looked. Breath taking beaches that seem to go on for miles.
The Victoria Pub in Bamburgh was very good. Allow dogs inside and as well as serving lovely food, they do a brilliant takeaway fish & chips with choice of peas for £5.

Stayed here for our first touring trip. Lovely site, new shower/toilet block, cleaned on a daily basis, touring site appeared full and there was no waiting/queuing.
The site has a new kids park, ours are 2 and 5 and this was ideal for them. There is also a skate park, pretty basic but again it kept the kids entertained, probably better for kids 6+
The site is approx 1m from Bamburgh with easy access
There is a small shop on site with the basics
The Warden, William, was very helpful, showing us to the pitch and helping move the caravan into position.
All the pitches are fully serviced. No blue fluid allowed, green only.
