This is an impeccably maintained site primarily for statics. The touring park is at the back of the site and is served by perfect grassy and hard standing pitches. The shower block is very modern and maintained to a high standard.

We were hoping that Bamburgh was easier to get to, given the photos on the website of the castle with statics in the foreground. Unfortunately the B1341 can be a very busy road and the walk was single file for much of it whilst we negotiated traffic from one direction or another, or both.

There was no shop on site, despite the website saying it has one. The Wi-Fi is chargeable at £5 per day or £10 per 7 days. I couldn’t find any recycling.

Apart from staying on the council run car park overnight which is limited to 6 Moho spaces, this appears to be the closest place to stay.

A very clean and tidy site, very nice welcome at reception.

Pitch flat with bathroom across the way, very clean with push button shower control but shower cubicle does not have a soap dish sadly lacking.

A mile and half to Bamburgh castle that have a bike rack.

The site was very clean and tidy and very well kept.

It was a quiet site even with kids being on the site.

The people were very welcoming and helpful.

The only issue was the mop to clean the shower after using the shower it was leaving the shower dirtier.

We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back again

This is a large site, comprising mainly static caravans as you enter the site, with touring caravans on an area separate from them, behind a grassy bank. Most of the touring area has been allocated to seasonal caravans.

The touring area has its own toilet/shower block which was always clean and tidy. There is also a washing up area and laundry room if required.

There is a small skate park situated to one side of the touring area, which was used at the weekend by kids from the statics.

Location is great for visiting Bamburgh, Seahouses etc.

Our only mild concern was site security, with no barrier. Our neighbour on a seasonal pitch advised us the pitch we were on had been a seasonal pitch, until the caravan got stolen during off season.

Friendly, helpful staff who provided us with an extra long hose and drainage to reach the tap/drain.

Take it easy on the B road once off the A1, as it is very bumpy and lots of bends.

In summary a pleasant, quiet site (excl sch hols) in a great location.

Sadly we went elsewhere. We realised it was a Bank a holiday and no wonder this place was nearly full.

We may well try them later in the year.

Their site is well placed geographically and from what we read ticked all our boxe

May be the best caravan site we have used. Probably the cleanest, most well set up, laid out and serviced site I think I have enjoyed.

Located within a mile of Bamburg castle and a couple of miles of Seahouses.

The A1 is a couple of miles away making it easy and convenient to reach Berwick-on-Tweed and Lindisfarne to the north, Amble, Alnwick, Warkworth and Spittal to the southand Scotland

A few miles to the north west.

Wish we could have stayed longer - but we'll be back!

Couldn’t fault this site at all, place was very well kept, toilets immaculate. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

If anything the only downside was the walk into Bamburgh on the country road as there was no path and as we know some drivers don’t follow rules, speed etc.

 First class welcome

Hard standing level pitch

Toilet block was A1

Nice easy walk and back to Bamburgh castle

Easy drives to holy island and Seahouses

Taxi to and from Bamburgh is a challenge

We will be back next year

We'd not stayed at this Site before but will certainly be back. We wanted a Site close to the coast to be able to walk along the beaches and enjoy the views.

Both C & C Club Sites at Beadnell and Embleton were full (why do we pay membership?) so chose Glororum. At £30 for two adults and hook up, its a competitive price.

The Site is impeccably kept, all touring units are on hard standing with water and hook ups close by and both toilets and clean up areas were spotless.

There aren't any bins in toilet or food prep areas so all rubbish has to be taken to skips for disposal. Similarly, green Elsan is de rigueur for the chemical disposal.

Bamburgh is about 1. 5 miles away and we had a good meal at The Victoria Hotel.

Gail at the Site was very helpful.

Facilities were first rate and exceptionally clean.

The park is clean and well maintained.

The pitches are concrete for level standing with an adjacent graveled area for awnings, etc. Water and electricity are close by each pitch.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I will certainly be returning very soon.
